Great to see and hear this historical clip in such good condition from 1930. I notice all the brass instruments were the old rotary valve German instruments, probably "Alexander Mainz" which I think were shipped over with Fritz Brase. They were still being issued when I joined as a Band boy thirty years later. We were also issued with the waist belts that those Bandsmen are wearing. Brings back good memories. Thanks for posting.

I played that march many a time, in the 60s,,,,,,, I actually remembered what tune came next. Looks like Band formed outside the Boys Company Area in Cathal Brugha barracks........
