REAL FACTS: There was clearly 1 second left on clock after spike. Also, the yellow-line on tv was wrong on that 1st down. A&M got that 1st down by a full yard. Tv simply had 1st-down Yellow Line a yard too long. Also, the Quarterback does not have to have possession to be down by his own knee. The announcers literally said that live during the game... the ball is down if your knee is down and you touch the ball like that. He had possession anyway in my opinion but he still did not have to fully. Was the right call, which is is why replay upheld it. And that was a pass interference. You can’t put 2 hands on WR impeding progress right after the ball is in the air headed for him. That’s pass inference if he’s not holding. And that was clearly an incompletion like the replay booth upheld. Ffs. LSU was lucky to be in that game anyway. A&M had it dominated until they fumbled for a defensive TD in the 4th to let LSU back in the game.
