I am 40 and I have been watching @wranglerstar for 10 years. Although I was lucky to have strong father figures in my life, I still learn from Cody all the time. My family and I have been moving towards Cody’s way of life for years and we take inspiration from him daily. I just bought/ordered my first pair of JK boots last week after seeing Cody’s video. I needed a quality boot and I trust his judgement for many things. Great podcast JK!

Well I'm also 43 and have been watching his content for years. I'm in an urban environment and recently just got some chickens and backyard gardening to be just a little more self sufficient. I had a strong dad who taught me how to camp, fish, work on cars etc but the farming and raising animals is new and it's been a blast.

This is so awesome! I am an immigrant myself. Came to the USA in 2002 with $136 in my pocket and barely spoke English, the little English I learned was pretty much self-taught. I started college in 2004 and picked up a couple degrees without any student loans, joined the US Army in 2009 and I live my version of the American dream! I will not have any children therefore there won't be anyone to tell my story or carry a "legacy" and I'm ok with that. As I watch this video I "imagine" what it would be like to have my story being told by someone proud of "dad" or "grand dad" as I see you two so proud of your parents and grandparents, this fills my heart with joy and I live these moments vicariously through your words. Thank you for doing this video, it brings more joy to someone's life (mine) than you probably ever imagined it would!

White’s handmade “Smoke Jumpers” are the “fizz” (stealing Wranglestar’s words). They’ve been making boots for wildland firefighters for decades. The only drawback today (for those who prefer “U.S. owned”) with that brand is that White’s is foreign owned nowadays. So, If you want quality, handmade work boots from a renowned U.S. owned manufacturer from Spokane, WA (Nick’s too), JK’s quality and craftsmanship seems to be right up there with the best of them.

@jaygio
@jaygio 11 месяцев назад
Grounding is real and there are inexpensive devices you can buy to show and prove that there is current running from the ground. Hence why they call a wire GROUND. It's how Tesla was able to tap into free energy. Dr. Paul Saladino goes barefoot as well and so do many others especially around the world without many of the sicknesses that exist in 1st world countries, despite rampant poverty all over and lack of medications and modern conveniences. Granted they deal with things that can be fixed with these modern medicines, but still they don't encounter many things in the US. Including GMOs and polluted soil and animals, even though that's starting to change sadly. Don't be so foolish and quick to think everything has been debunked without actually knowing the information that has been around for a long time. It's a shame that kids get fooled so easily by deliberate mis/disinformation from Pharma, Military, Government, ETC without asking a single question. If Cody was trolling about being barefoot you wouldn't see him being out on the land barefoot operating an excavator. It's a shame that common sense isn't common anymore, but rather uncommon sense.

I wrote a letter to Cody quite a while back (not 10 years, but close) telling him how God was fathering me through him. I included my phone number, and he called me about the letter. Regardless of anything anyone online says about him and his faults (which he admits he has, and I've seen), he's fantastic in my book. Kind of like how Grateful Dead fans adopted the insult of "Dead heads" as a cherished name, I proudly bear the moniker of "Wranglerstar fanboy".

I own two pair of JK Boots, and have a third pair on order. This is NOT because they are wearing out. QUITE THE OPPOSITE!!! My first pair is the "high top" boots that I wear when I am working in the timber. They are a logger style with the exception of NO CORKS! These boots provide excellent support, and protects my shins from the constant pounding of walking through the downed tops. They also keep the wood chips from getting inside my boots, and you all know what that is like!!! My second pair is an eight inch THINSULATE insulated boot, that I purchased for hunting and outdoor recreation. For this purpose I wanted a high top boot for support, with the same Vibram sole as my "loggers", and the Thinsulate for obvious reasons. The third pair on order are what I call my "farm boots"'. These are six inch high O.T. boots, with a wedge sole, versus the high heels of my other boots. The reason for these is that I do a lot of tractor work and wanted a supportive boot that was on the lighter side, and less likely to get in the way of operating my tractor's control pedal. My biggest reason for the JK Boots is their EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, and the fact that they CREATE CUSTOM BOOTS TO YOUR FEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have issues with Lymphedema in my lower legs and causes a very swollen instep of both feet. The swelling in each foot is DIFFERENT, therefore it requires a boot that is made different for my right AND my left foot! JK Boots measuring system insures that your boots will fit. I know, because, though I worked in the outdoors all of my life, I was NOT able to wear any kind of boot, and had to resort to wearing a subpar shoe to work in. When I received my first JK Boots, the logger style, I actually cried because I thought I would NEVER be wearing boots again. I was thrilled beyond expectations! As explained in this video, the expensive boots are the CHEAPEST boots you will buy, and truer words were never spoken! Thank you JK Boots!

Love the chat guys, awesome content. Super excited to receive my OT boots. It will be my first pair of JKs 🙂 As a mechanic who is restoring an old farmhouse that rides motorcycles I am pretty hard on boots. I’ve worn out a number of heavy duty American boots and I’ve also had cheap boots fall apart within weeks, so when you said it’s cheaper to buy quality boots it is true, when one pair of quality boots will last as longer than 6 pairs of overseas knockoffs. As they saying goes, buy once cry once 🙂 I believe the OTs will serve my needs well, and after hearing you guys talk about the benefits of the heal lifts I am considering trying a pair of logging boots next 🙂 I like how Cody went from a logger to a blogger 😄

His flack fodder comes from the fact that he is a man of faith and seeks after the Lord, and those who don't believe (can't believe, until His opens their eyes to His Holiness) will always attack him because of Satan's never ending attack on the world. I'm confident that Cody has the knowledge of what our Christ warned, deny me infront of man, and I will deny you before my father.

I've enjoyed Codys' videos for years. The only advice I regret following, was his recommendation of Nicks fire boots. I was impressed with the quality, US made craftsmanship, so I completed the the painstaking order process, and paid some $600. Worst boots I've ever owned. Now, Cody says he no longer wears this type of boot, because they are too heavy and stiff (same reason I got rid of mine). The boots haven't changed, but Cody has changed his mind. I sold mine at a loss. Lesson-don't follow advice from people who gush over products, because they've been given product, in exchange for reviews.

so i wonder. there is a pretty big hype all around barefoot, minimalist, zerodrop- shoes. their main goal is to bring back the foots "original" strength and self-support. and i kind of get that, since the foot it self is very well designed and constructed. but how does this go together with that high heel and that rather big arch/ support. is this kind of boot only for work to be save and counteract or prevent injuries or pain? and one is better of walking in barefootshoes in their freetime to strengthen their feet. i don`t know if i made myself clear on what i wanted to ask since English is not my first language. Regardless i enjoyed listening and thanks for sharing.
