i highly recommend D'Angelo's video on Andrew Schulz ➡ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_qiJO4OpyJs.html I can't watch the full episode of Flagrant bc my indigestion gon act up but I DO recognize that James ✨attempted✨ to course correct but he was no match for Andrew's steamrolling. Also: when I referenced an apology it was for the Andrew Schulz podcast not the baddies in Atlanta lol bc once again it’s not a crime to have different tastes 😬
The concept of a baddie is a euphemism for a certain type of woman that those of us with means want and have access to. I cannot figure out why this concerns a woman who for instance has a dress size of 10 or higher, wearing wigs and long eyelashes. You're worried about a reality that is NOT yours
@@BnizzofashizzoI think you don’t know what the term means, or you’re using it wrong. A ‘baddie’ is literally a hyper realistic version of a “pretty” woman. The fake hair, long lashes, makeup, bbl, and long nails essentially make up what a ‘baddie’ is. Most men with resources actually prefer regular and natually attractive women. Athletes and rappers like ‘baddies”.
@@chrislyn1868your comment is sending me so bad because based on your profile picture, you’re a baddie to me! Like to me a baddie is a pretty woman, I ain’t thinking about all that it entails. You’re either fine or you’re not, I think baddie has definitely expanded beyond BBLs to encompass more 😂😂😂
i think it's ok to have one token straight man on some podcasts, it's just when more than one start getting together unsupervised that it becomes an issue
For sure! Unfortunately we have to build back that trust if I’m elected president - I may propose that someone has to vouch for them, legally tying peoples character to each other 👩🏿⚖️
Andrew did not come up on his own... Black man ushered him into Black spaces & he got a lot of his audience from us. Which is ironic because he's wildly anti-black.
fellow baddie here w my sis above ! I thought it was obvious they didnt like black women, I was a very casual listener of their podcast. Their behavior on Schultz's podcast was extremely disappointing. but Iwish I could say Im surprised. Their apology was explanation and terrible. That aside they couldve asked for the podcast to be edited.
I don’t even live in Atlanta nor ever went to Atlanta but the way he said it was like saying that they are no black people in Africa…a shame and a scandal
No baddies in Atlanta sounds like uncontrolled cataracts that led to blindness. There isn’t a square inch in Atlanta without a beautiful black woman in it.
Really need people to understand that people were being forced to perform for Puffy. He had all that lubrication and baby oil because his victims were not aroused and sometimes not conscious. He had people on staff to administer IV fluids to the victims because he wouldn't allow them to stop when their bodies would naturally give out. I hope he never sees the light of day again and I hope his victims heal.
Thank you so much for this context. I didn't read anything about this case and so when I heard about the ridiculous amount of lubricant from someone without situating it in the context of the crimes I laughed because I thought it was absurd. I won't be laughing anymore and I definitely won't be sharing jokes/memes about it. It's horrific.
It does you no good. If Puff had bodies buried in his basement and ears in a jar in his refrigerator - he would still be a successful black man being taken down by the system. That alone grants him immunity. 🤣🤣🤣
@@Kre8iviT27 there was an episode where they called a dark skin black woman a gorilla with bad weave and I can’t find it anymore. It was one of the first and I stopped listening to them immediately.
@@RooHuewhat?? Done done. I can tell they are a bit misogynistic but I turned off the thinking part of my brain for some entertainment. I watched for a few weeks but never subscribed. I just couldn’t bring myself to it. Then this happened and it’s like oh…makes sense
All they had to say was 'let's not disparage black women in that way, those jokes are not funny and lets move on to the next topic' and that's it! in their apology, they said that laughing was a fight or flight response like what?
I guaranteeeee, had it been the other way around, and like Nella Rose or another prominent Black woman was kiking with yt women on a pod to call Blk men violent, these two would NOT let it slide or expect the same amount of grace.
As a Black woman I can't believe my algorithm has never popped you up until now and I've been watching RU-vid every day for the past year. RU-vid is hiding funny Black women from us. But I'm glad I finally discovered you! You are hilarious!
I KNOW I have seen Evelyn somewhere before….was it PBS, yo?! I swear I saw this face as a starring host on PBS talking about Black history…..Google time!🏃🏾♀️➡️🏃🏾♀️➡️🏃🏾♀️➡️ Evelyn…..dis you? 😂
I went out in the city for a solo trip. Went to this lovely dinner by myself. Twenty minutes later, in walked these baddies. There were five of them. Their chocolate was sparkling. I was so enchanted that I told the bar man to buy them champagne and put it on me. Their baddie energy was another level😂 Effortlessly divine.
The only thing that shocks me is how the blk community (particularly blk women) are shocked over this! A number of blk men are either misogynists or simply dislike their own women because of being blk.
This. Nothing about this is a shocker to me. Atp it’s expected and if you don’t expect it you need to get your head out of your ssa. BM + Mic= BW haters. That’s the social media starter kit for them.
There’s nothing wrong with having a preference. We all have them. However…what sort of moral standing do you have when you comfortably…at every given turn…make money from constantly degrading women who resemble the ones in your family? Such a strange phenomenon. To be simultaneously repulsed yet obsessed with a group of women who are simply existing and paying you no mind
Not only that, but the audience is by and large (at least pre controversy) Black women. People who went to their live shows in the US said as much. They were literally playing in their audience's faces.
A preference doesn't have to be a different race. Especially those in a country where that race been the lead abuser and oppressor of your community. The preference concept is equating the idea that you have an option in choosing. What made BM think they had other options...?
Evelyn's content gives me so much joy lmao she said that man makes her wanna pop a Prilosec, and I had to look it up to get the joke, and now I can't stop laughing 🤣🤣
The diddy jokes have been getting to me. I saw baby oil memes first and had to look up the actual report on my own. The disconnect of not realizing that Sean Combs might have taken advantage of or had his hand in the mistreatment of their favorite male music stars is crazy
Does anybody besides me remember the podcast with Kid Fury and Crissle called The Read? Yeah, Crissle used to call Andrew out for being racist and unfunny and constantly grasping at low-hanging fruit as his brand of humor over a decade ago lol. Their podcast was on around the same time as brilliant idiots and she peeped game about Andrew a whiiiiile ago. He's been a racist POS for some time lol. I know she is somewhere feeling vindicated right now.
for years I set my life up to move abroad to South Korea for career opportunities,,,and I had paused for a while because of s3x crimes against women then tried to convince myself it would be okay, and right as I was saving up again, I found out it is absolutely horrendous and the women (and children!!!!) are fighting for their lives over there 😭
I used to subscribe to S&G YT but as I kept watching, I came to the conclusion pretty quickly that they thought ab how white women were beautiful, and they felt "meh" ab black women. I unsubscribed. So this news wasn't surprising to me when it came out.
Omg, the Gisèle Pélicot trial broke me. I didnt know, this "chemical submission" was so common. The cishet dudes will always find a way (and create a whole culture) to harm their wives/women. And dont get me started on the abbé Pierre's accusations. 💔💔💔
I’ve never listened to those 2 guys cause their content is corny but saying there are no baddies in Atl is truly nonsensical talk, there is an over abundance of baddies in atl. I’m glad the community didn’t let that slide. You have my vote for president, girl. We need to rebuild
Great video Ev. I know you dont usually touch on these things but you are the person I’d prefer to talk to about them with. A person with some damn sense! lol😊
Thanks so much for this comment honestly bc what i edited out was all the long pauses I took bc I was DRAINED 🙃 pop culture or current events content is a struggleeeee
@@Evelynfromtheinternets this makes so much sense cos you created like a non-stop comedy set !!!!!! like Josh Johnson daily show / current events comedian's vibes- LITERALLY found this vid insaneLY funny from second 0.5 the laughs they multiplied like frisky rabbits - I can only IMAGINE how much goes into creating. u r so appreciateeeeeed (I've seen the comments everyone is dying and loving!!!!) xxxx (and sending love and hope you get to reSTORE after feeling drained !!)
If you can’t find baddies in ATL, like, what are you even doing? Where are you looking? King of Reads is gay, and even he concedes that Atlanta is full of baddies. 😂 It’s definitely giving, “I don’t like Black women.”
I’m with that one guy who said they don’t like women. It’s the only explanation that makes sense. I thoroughly enjoyed this commentary. You are a gift to the internet, Evelyn.
To say that there are No Baddies in *_Atlanta_* is BONKERS like that’s where the baddies are fresh off the vine! The Atlanta Baddies set the tone for the black beauty standard over the last decade (and that’s me being very conservative cause lord knows it’s been fine women there forever)
Thank you for breaking this down! I was very confused about all the social media chatter but was not very interested in investigating. I support your ban and your campaign. Evelyn 2024.
LOL not me live commenting the video 7:57 thank you as someone whos ITP, I walk to go get a coffee and HERE BE BADDIES and lowkey I'm not even in the Black Black areas of Atlanta. Wow I'm so offended on behalf of the baddies. The slander of it all.
I’m trying to be happy despite the fact that I’ve been consistent all year and now I’m hearing some cousins ain’t been watching this whole time 🥲🥲 IMA BE ALRIGHT THO THANKS FOR WATCHING!!
I never got into these two but seen clips of them around social media. I knew they were big with black women I didn't know why but I figured it was the beards and the whole Idris Elba effect so I said okay cute for them. However, I'm not surprised by it. People always get a come up off black women's support and black women are quick to fantasize and hand out support to any half-way decent man so hey it is what it is. Let this be yet ANOTHER lesson on having higher standards.
As usual, your video is so appreciated. Thank you especially for your Diddy commentary. It's like so many people are missing the big picture to get a chuckle. There's a reason supplies were there and it was apart of the violence. Let's just not.
As a Black British woman I can confirm, the concept of baddie is very much alive and well in the UK, these men are pretty much batting for the same team and blaming ATL for their lack of interest
Men have been using that gaslighting method forever, downplay women so the few can come out like "Not me👋🏾". It's a way to get women to engage, while they themselves don’t have to put much effort in. It's sad.
"I’m not taking food advice from people who only eat chicken tendees" - this took me out. Thank you for sharing your thoughts-its medicine- erupting laugher.
Korean here, it's my personal take, but I think the increased sexist views of younger men (20s, 30s) is what's attributing to the lowered birth rates. Sexism is generally more rampant in Asia due to male-centric cultural traditions, and the word "feminist" is currently being used as an insult in Korea. Feminism is basically seen as a male-hate movement, and there has been a drastic increase in the proportion of males who subscribe to sexist, patriarchal views compared to gen X. I think it might be related to the rise of decentralized content distribution (ie. RU-vid, social media, podcasts) that allows younger generations to be swayed by more extreme ideas easily. There's still a large gender pay gap, and there isn't enough social support or policies for pregnant women/working women with kids. It's difficult for women to get their careers back after having kids, and due to the patriarchal nature of many families, a lot of women end up being the sole caretaker of children. Younger women, who have seen their mothers from the previous generation struggle with family rearing and societal pressures to sacrifice their lives only for their families, are refusing to live in such a way because they know just how difficult it is. The worst part is that a large portion of the population (specifically men) are refusing to recognize this as the core issue, and keep blaming the economy and inflation as the cause. This possibly couldn't be the case as Korea's gone through its worst economic downfall in the 90s, and even then, our birth rates weren't this low. A lot of men refuse to recognize sexism and believe that women are inherently lesser beings, and that they've reached as much "equality" as they're going to get. Those that do recognize sexism refuse to change the situation as they believe it's the correct path forward. Honestly, unless there is some sort of social revolution, Korea might not be a country in half a century. And maybe that's not such a bad thing if people are this shitty (aside from sexism, there's also rampant homophobia, transphobia, and racism).
Man, I need a friend like this. I love your sense of humor. Please keep just yapping in front of the camera. Seriously though, when are you running for president? 👀 I would definitely want to hear your ideas/policies.
I am a baddie originally from Atlanta who used to listen to that podcast. I should have known better because cishet men are already not my ministry, but they popped up on my feed at a time when I needed some laughs. However, I admittedly do not extend much grace to men, especially not at my own expense. I unsubscribed as soon as I saw what was up. Fool me once, and you won't get the chance to fool me again. Every day I am grateful that I'm queer and do not rely on men for affection/ romance/ intimacy/ financial stability/ partnership... NOTHING.
The straight dude in the clip saying "you either don't like Black women, or you like men" is still kinda off though, because if they did like men Atlanta STILL got the baddies. ATL has hella fine ass Black people period. And dare I say non-Black people can only be baddie lite ™️? Baddie adjacent?
I agree, definitely got home Himbos on lock lol. I think Deante was using Baddie in reference to women, because that's likely the way Dumb and Dumber were using the term.
If they did like men they wouldn’t say that on the podcast though so IMO that’s an imaginary scenario. YOU AND ME know you’re right but in this context “baddie” refers to women. I’m willing to be wrong though bc I can’t backslide 🤣 and give him too much credit!! I get what you’re saying though 💕
