Dairy products are the main culprit of sinus and forehead pressure/inflammation. It takes up to 2 weeks for your sinus tissues to fully recover from dairy exposure. That coupled with equalization technique can make for miserable dives. Sounds like you use Valsalva maneuver. If sinuses are already irritated this makes it worse. Frenzel technique is a lot less stress on the sinuses. Ask Jace he used to do Valsalva till I showed him Frenzel. World of difference hahahaha.
I’ve heard that too about dairy but I believe my congestion was coming from sleeping with the AC blowing directly on me. That’s when I began getting congested
