The only thing that could have made this diorama anymore heart warming,, is if there was a kitten creeping in out of the cold.... Lovely work.....

This is hands down the best diorama I've seen in a very long time! Great technique and an even greater story! I also want a cat for Christmas since this is the first one without a cat in 40 something years but at least the dogs are being a tiny bit less wild around the Christmas tree...?! Just found you after a recommendation and liked the video, so I have subscribed. Just a little tip for painting the metal foil ; a small tin of "Hammerite" paint, thinned using spirits, works fantastically well on it and creates an awesome and realistic looking representation of real metal cladding. They do quite small tins and it lasts for ages. As usual, it's available on Amazon in a range of colours. I find the black, dark blue, grey and brown are very useful. Get the "hammered" stuff, not the smooth (although it's personal choice) as when you add the thinners, it disrupts the effect enough to create a choice of representations and effects, depending on how much you add and how thin a paint or wash you have it. Good video, I am looking forward to going through your others.

Wow! Using only 3 figures you completly scratch built a fantasticly detailed diorama . I'd be challenged to just get the figures to look realistic in that scale as I'm used to smaller scales but you went all out creating a realistic setting for them . TY for sharing the video of its creation as I got to learn about quite a few techniques I've never seen before, especially the 10 micron foil as I didn't know it existed but the corrugated iron panels you made from it would be usefull in a lot of things I'd like to try w/it, just on a smaller scale (28mm) .TY again for sharing the video & wishing you Merry Christmas & Happy nevv year !
