@@donkykong1823 and mess with their heads and stay strong because they will in my case know they lost the best thing to ever happen to them.My narcissist still tries to contact me on messenger on my phone where they are blocked everywhere else because now I can mess with their head and never answer and secretly enjoy doing it because they never ever recognise what they are.......ever how messed up is that whereas I am immune now to every toxic person by knowing how they start their tricks and nipping it in the bud.....namaste because yoga became my passion to heal me and make me whole again xx

It's called Hoovering don't let them back in at all, it's part of their cruel twisted plan. They love to do it at Christmas and other celebration events. Close your curtains tun down the tv and radio and mobile etc turn off lights don't answer the door pretend your not home, that way you can work out their pattern of them showing up and outsmart them it works but you have to be consistent and persistent because they are God bless you

Does this mean I’m the narcissist. I had no money. She had her life put together i don’t see anything other than love i really had to put on the table. @@bmuskiet1979 I'm 51. I can see majority where you are coming from because I'm weeks in the middle of her selfish silent treatment. To this day I've looked back so much how I spent time with her. She chose so long refusing to speak to me that I've noticed so much how she's different. She's the narcissist not you. Is she considerate as the ladies you learned from in your family? Has she talked with you discuss the smallest disagreements like an adult, or does she hide from you like she's in pre-k? Another way I've been played a fool is money. After meeting her in September I spent over $200 on her. She's spent less than $30 on me. If she can't be REASONABLE and give YOU the same RESPECT you don't need her.

For decades, I desperately TRIED to find someone to explain why I felt so alone and unloved and miserable in my marriage. The mental health professionals were of no help because back in the 70s and 80s, they apparently didn’t understand this insidious , emotionally destructive disorder. So for 35+ years, my spirit and my health were gradually deflated. By the way, my (now ex-)husband was a worship leader all of those years. Every Sunday , I would watch my “plastic” husband fake his way through every church service with his well-rehearsed “sharing”. All fake. And I couldn’t figure out why. He played the part so well. He had a circle of adoring minions. Here’s a topic I’d like to see covered: How do I (or SHOULD I) handle two of my adult children who have crushed my heart by completely cutting ties with me but they stay in touch with their dad?

I remember looking in the mirror when married to the narc and I didnt know who I was . I saw ugly. I cried. I wanted face surgery, liposuction, i thought ppl saw me as stupid. When we broke up i asked God to show me what I really am and one morning i woke up and looked in mirror and saw beautiful inside and out ; )

Similar thing happened did to me as well. About two months out of the relationship (which I walked away from), I looked in the mirror and did not recognize those person staring back at me. Scariest thing I ever experienced. Month four I finally went 💯 no contact… it will be a year this week and while I sometimes get sad, I thank God everyday I made the choice to move on with my life.

So i finally stood up to my narcissist friend. I told her i dont respect how you do people and blame them for what you do. She sent text back saying its over and that im strange, dont make sense and playing games ( putting blame on me) and left me alone now and dumped me and im glad. Lol. I already rarely talked to her anymore but hasn't gone full no contact. I made her leave. I do feel good i stood up for myself even though it gave her a bit supply at the end. But i know she will be back to attack so i blocked my phone this time so it doesnt go back and forth.

That part about "don't recognize who you are anymore" yep I felt that. I felt like I was going crazy wanting someone to treat me right and wanting validation from someone who never consistently gave it... no matter what I did, bought, said, sacrificed, compromised...it was never good enough. Luisa- I was around the exact same age...I was so gaslit etc etc as a child. It just is never ending; especially when younger sister becomes one too. I'm with you in this. Trying to deal with an extremely toxic situation that I'm keeping out of now mother is in hospital. Its Nothing like when Dad was dying and I cared for him. Its all games & more mind games. My ex husband particularly nasty narcissist, got divorced 30 years,ago, still harassing me with letters and calls ( blocked now) but recently thought In found new love, 2nd spring etc …another narcissist ( 50) who didn’t mind the age gap he assured me, but after the love bombing, the devaluation phase started, I saw the red flags, then sudden discard over a very minor thing…I reminded him to attend to a certain matter …so from “ I love you “ in the morning, to “ I am done with you “ in the afternoon. I immediately went no contact . I am done too, no more romance for me.

@@TheRoyalWe My narcissist (18 years my junior) got his much younger girlfriend pregnant, told me excitedly as if I was supposed to be happy for him and then seamlessly transitioned from lover to my "bestie". He actually thought I could just become his best friend. He refused to acknowledge or apologize for all the pain he caused (in true narcissist fashion) and acted annoyed that I was speaking of my upset and wanted answers. He just wanted me to forget all that and be his best friend. It's crazy making at its finest. This stuff is still very raw for me. I'm only a few days out of it but I've blocked him on social media and have gone no contact. Thanks for your insightful videos. I enjoyed the gunky water analogy. Very apt.

@@xbEAUTYb00 If there is a restraining order or will be, he won't be able to contact you or at least come within a certain distance. You have to maintain and uphold the stipulations in the order as well. (been there, done that with my ex husband) Before then if it's necessary to talk with him or if there are kids involved, I'd say the best thing to do would be gray rocking. I know The Royal We has spoken against this, but the narc is always looking for a reaction. It feeds their need for supply so you can be civil, but be a stone. Give no emotion. Be apathetic and give short, curt responses when necessary. Even if you're seething inside, don't hand over that power to them. Perhaps act as you would any stranger you meet on the street, civil but no connection or emotional responses attached.

When every phone conversation with someone includes your being criticized, judged, or belittled, it’s time to go no contact. When the person judges and belittles a friend of yours they have never even met, it’s time to go no contact. Life is too precious and wonderful to put up with toxic people. When you’re being bullied and emotionally abused and a “friend” informs you that YOU are the cause of it, it’s time to go no contact. No contact works!

You are not alone in this. Me too. I even raised one of my grandchildren for six years while adult narc daughter was out getting her fun and narc feed. She could care less about my g.d. and she, rarely that I heard from her (three times in six years), would tell me she didn't want my g.d. She came around, used my n-mom and they stole my g.d. from me. Kept her from me. Wouldn't tell schools or anyone the truth. G.d. had behavior problems, no doubt. I had depression and could barely function. So, got stuck at my n-mom house. Another six years later I'm still stuck at my n-mom house. It has taken this long to learn about all this narc junk and then start to incorporate what to do and how to handle all this. All this while still getting more narc abuse crap they do. It's been so hard and taken so long but I will prevail. I have the victory in Jesus and then I will be the one my g.d. will come to when she is ready. This is not the end. It is freedom time. @Hannah P I think I should go ZERO CONTACT AT ALL. Before he broke me. I fell so guilty that I have always get back to my hometown, a small town in the mexican border. I moved to Mexico City, Guadalajara, San Francisco, CA, and I always keep coming and getting depress because of him. Of the guilt of being away. He make me feel like I was abandoned him like a little child.

I had to do “no contact” with my oldest sister…I love her but she has mistreated me and gaslighted me all my life until one day I told her plainly….I love you, you are my sister but you hurt me so much we cannot be “friends”… I am much happier disassociating myself after 50 years of her gaslighting and abuse….she totally acts the victim…however I’m the blind sister who lives alone on the edge of poverty but is happy…she is very wealthy and miserable…

Absolutely the very same here! I understand! I was just attacked, luckily not physically this time, by my older narc sister. (She's now throwing Scriptures at me by text.Even Satan used Scripture to get Jesus to sin and worship him.) Last week she gave me 30 days to move out. I am a 70 year old Great-Grandmother, no car, poor health, bad back and painful knee. She timed that just right. She cut me off from family and friends. She can be violent, and I threatened to call the police on her if she didn't get away from me. She stood there after she cornered me, with the hideous evil "narc smirk", and tried to shame me, humiliate me, going after my religion, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, my past, etc. When I kept telling her to get away from me, she flew into a rage when I covered my ears! I got my door closed and locked, while that buffalo beat on it. I told she'll have to pay for her door if she breaks it. She went away to the kitchen. Lol If you all think she's not that bad, my little brother killed himself because of her. She is evil!!! I am not suicidal, but have been in the past. No contact for four years now. Has saved my life. It’s changed my life. The peace and happiness and tranquility has replaced the past drama and cannot be expressed here in a few words. What I will say is that I did get additional help talking regularly in sessions with a psychiatrist regarding some lingering PTSD issues from the past toxic stuff, that I’ve found additionally helpful.

Mine would threaten to destroy my life and would show up at my door and stalk my building for hours but he never got violent with me. I never actually feared for my physical safety. He only ever acted out two of his threats, but most of the time he was very much a coward. If yours has never gotten physical with you before, I dont think he'd just snap and take it up now, but you can never be too sure with these volatile individuals. If you fear for your safety, go to the cops. Document everything. Please be safe and dont take any threat lightly.

I cried! This was the BEST video I’ve seen on narcissistic relationships. Hands down. It got right to the core of the issue and what needs to change. It was only by Gods Grace I got out and it was because it started effecting my children. God told me He’s been trying to give me freedom for a long time and it was my own trauma and stubbornness that kept me in the relationship, trying to play God hoping my patience and kindness would change things. Sometimes even distancing as much as possible doesn’t help. Sometimes total no contact is the answer. It’s been 6 months and the amount I’ve healed in that time is mind blowing. God bless this man and everyone that’s dealing with hard relationships!!

I drive narcissists crazy. My mom and dad don't really speak to me anymore because they think I'm screwed up. Out of nowhere though, just yesterday my mom just called me to brag about publishing her second book. Meanwhile, I'm living in my car and she could care less... My ex fiance just kicked me out over an argument over fried chicken. All his family members literally pushed me out the house while I was begging for him to come to my aid, but he just left me in the house with his family who screamed in my face, pulled my fingers back, performed am exorcism, grabbed my car keys and pointed them at my skull, etc In short, I'm blocking every narcissists number on my phone, including my mother's. I'm never going to contact these people again. Now I have legal issues, no money and I'm back at square one. I was used, humiliated.. But somehow the pleasure of no drama in my life right now is making this transition time for me so much easier. Life is meant to be enjoyed. I am terrified of narcissist. I am terrified about the thought of even being one, maybe that is why I attract them so much.

I found a Christian counsellor the most helpful - she was a great role model with her strength, love, purity and wisdom. I also knew she and others in the organisation were praying for me, and I never felt I was overloading her. With God's guidance she helped me to take an important step out of a narc relationship and the kind of trapped helplessness that just makes you feel like the living dead.

His silent treatments controlled me. But no more. I also deleted and shut down all of my social media, and I won't go back until I'm 100% better. I am getting my life back, and I'm feeling better. I was a strong before I don’t know what happened @Enlightened soul, exactly I realized I started becoming someone I didn’t want to be towards the people that genuinely loved me because most of my family didn’t treat me well even after a long time of trying everything I could to make them like and respect me. Until I felt like I wanted to die because I felt they all walked all over me, and I felt empty and gross. I then felt I’d rather be alone than dead because I felt dead when I was around them. I was such a loving vibrant kid when I lived with my parents until I started living with my extended family. There’re times I think to my self am I the narcissist? because the narcissist are surrounded by loving cheerful people. Am I the problem, but if I hadn’t left, I still would have left sooner because they’d have never respected me.

I had to go no contact with my own family. I never realized just how toxic they were until I moved back in to try and help them. It just lead to my own mental health and well being worsening. In a week I'm getting my own place again and NEVER looking back. Yeah it sucks but my parents have died in my mind a long time ago. It's so nice to know that there is a light at the end of this dark shitty tunnel. I've already blocked their numbers and have been off of social media permanently. It's so refreshing to finally be able to break free from the emotional abuse

The best help I am finding comes from Spiritual alignment. Counselors are limited to understand. My last counselor always was coming back to the subject of me “fixing” things with my family. I am focusing my life purpose through all techniques and knowledge that is in the market. Meditation. Walking daily my dog. And doing everything that pleases my being. I will get immune again as I was once. But I don’t think it’s necessary to contact them never anymore. I am free of them.

How do I deal with it when I am a young around age 30 and just getting my life togetehr without them and with raising a child on my own without the family support? Probably most jobs out there are toxic. The number one job for psychopaths is literally CEO, and they decide policies.... If a psychopath decides the policy for work, it's going to lack empathy. And most possess are status, money, approval from their superiors driven. Which makes sense to guarantee employment and money, but most take it to toxic levels. I've quit many jobs because they were toxic. Now I fear I will never find a job that isn't toxic. But to be uneffected by it is best. I literally get most upset when bossess purposely push ur buttons and it's obvious.

Chris Nuenthel yes!!!! These CEO’s only cater to THEMSELVES. They create baffling policies that make no common sense whatsoever and are designed to cut further hours from employees while padding their own wallets. I experienced this first had at my restaurant manager job. I was doing 85-95 hours a week and felt emotionally and physically drained. They refused my boss the executive chef we needed during peak season and resulted in chaos and more resignations and all this was JUST to save the money that it would have cost so they could give it back to their investors. It’s all bullshit. There really is no empathy and/or humanity at the corporate level. I quit to do Uber and Lyft and be a part time bartender and have been the happiest I’ve been in YEARS.

@@TheRoyalWe wow Kevin I didnt think I'd hear from you. I wish I could afford a one on one with you. The narcissist I was staying with was covert and I left Friday and came to a homeless shelter. I have my own room here that God blessed me with. I feel like I carry some narcissistic traits after being around this chick. Out of nowhere I started acting cold and toxic. Totally demonic. I have a friend that was doing deliverance work on her but once he told her she has a jezebel she got offended and stopped getting deliverance. She said she believes in Jesus but something wasn't adding up.

Went no contact after breaking up with girlfriend who likely has borderline personality disorder (actually she broke up with me). It's only been two weeks so far (compared to usually letting her manipulate and guilt trip me back within a day or two). But I realized no contact was the only way to finally get my head out of the cloud of constant anxiety and start mental recovery. Let's see where I'm at a month, two months, 6 months from now... 💪🏾

Kevin…thank you for this visual. One of the best examples of what happens to one’s soul when you don’t go no contact! It took years for me…and I finally became that clear glass of water again… I am now an author, published several times with a credible publisher and have re-discovered my gift of writing that continues to heal me and also helps to heal others. I thought I was enough. I thought I could love him and show him his value. For a long time I thought I was making a difference in his life and thoughts about himself. I thought I was good for him. It feels more like a failure in my own character. That's what I am struggling with most.

I went NC 12 years ago. It was a sacrifice I had to make. I had to grieve the loss even though they were still alive. It got easier as the years passed. Now I could never go back to that toxic environment. I have healed much of the wounds of childhood and the gulf between us is massive. The freedom is amazing.

Kevin! I need to share this with you! 2 days ago, I was in the deepest of despair. I had no hopes, I felt lost and helpless, like I was about to loose my mind. I am a Christian, so my only hope at that time was a miracle and I spent the afternoon in the woods, crying, falling on my knees, praying, begging for divine help. Then yesterday I went to a local church I had never visited before. I got there when they were greeting each-other, and a big guy from San Diego, California called Tom came to talk to me and inquire who I was and where I was from. I could hardly reply: my mind simply wasn't working well anymore. I sat down, overwhelmed with grief and self-pity, even during the singing and adoration. Then came the time for the preaching. To my surprise, they called that man from California to give the talk of the day. And then, I went from surprise to surprise... His talk was all about God's unconditional love for us. What I needed to hear. Probably what I needed to hear and understand the most. And in the middle of his preaching, he started to perform your water "trick". It was a bit different, but in essence, it was the same. Not only the water representing our soul came out crystal clear, but he showed that God's own source is overflowing in us and most important of us, unconditional. Thus we are not alone, we are not orphans, He is with us constantly and we should ask him to help us understand that. Every word echoed in my heart. After it ended, I went straight to Tom and told him how he had given the answer to my prayers. He smiled and prayed for me and with me. I left that Church yesterday noon, transformed. I had understood something so important, now I want to let myself filled with love and bear the fruits...

I went through this process with my in laws and ended up clean and strong again. And they kept pouring and but it didn't effect me. But now I'm going through it with my husbnad who I never expected it from and I'm having to relearn this immunity. I think his family have polluted him for the last 9 years of us living close to them and now he's pouring his toxicity onto me. This was a great demonstration and has given me a lot of motivation to continue the no contact 💕

This was so timely. I finally, after many painful back-and-forths, told my father he was no longer welcome in my home to disrespect me and demean my daughter. I told my mother she was still welcome...but she refuses to come see her grandchildren unless he's invited. So I am officially going no contact. No social media. No text. No contact. It's excruciating. I never believed my mother would choose that narcissistic abuser over her own grandchildren...and that she would blame me for forcing her to make that choice. I am so hoping/praying that after the initial mourning period, I will find a place of health and clarity again. It's hard to imagine because they live only three doors down from us. They moved across the country allegedly to be near their grandchildren... only for him to start channeling the abusive behaviors of my childhood onto my oldest daughter. I didn't recognize these behaviors for abuse until I saw what it was doing to her. My eyes are open now. Counseling and research and wonderful videos like this one have helped me to process and understand my childhood and to make healthier decisions for my future and my family. I will not let the cycle of abuse continue on to my babies.

Yup, exactly what my n mom did to me. Such envy, jealousy and competition. I don't even think that way so for years would wonder what is going on but still love her. She did a weird love bomb (now I know) when I was going through a hard time because of a different narc damager in my life. She hooked me in and it has been a ZILLION times worse than anything she has done before. They are not pussycats. They are monstrous venomous vampire tigers! Six years being attacked has kept me there for six years. Like in a boxing match, you have been so beaten that you can't get back up to fight. BUT, I keep saying, I will NOT die for these monsters. I have the victory in Christ Jesus and I come out shining, better than ever. They think they were jealous before? Haha. They ain't seen nothing yet!

I just cut all ties and one of the worst part of it is that they mk it seen that it’s me that’s toxic to the only sister I keep in contact with. But God has really helped me. I recently made the decision to cut off contact with my mom. God gave me revelation about her narcissism. The cause of my decision was because she started an argument and in me standing up for myself she cursed me. That was the last straw! My why: to protect myself and my future.

Stay out of the situations and negative people , I know is hard when you are emotionally attached to them, but you have the power in you to do it.
