Nebraska coach Matt Rhule took the stage on Monday to discuss the Huskers' upcoming Week 2 clash with Colorado, which visits Memorial Stadium on Saturday. Deion Sanders, Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter are bringing their show to Lincoln against Dylan Raiola and the Blackshirts.
Who will blink first? Rhule threw water on the idea that bad blood still exists after the Buffs felt disrespected by Nebraska a year ago in Boulder. The second-year Nebraska coach also downplayed the notion that this game means more to the Huskers because of the history of the rivalry. Rhule is trying to keep things normal this week in Nebraska camp. Can he succeed? Also, in a somewhat surprising development, wide receiver Malachi Coleman is perhaps headed for a four-game redshirt this season, Rhule said.

I watched the game, and reviewed the replay, and regardless about what ultimately was determined by the Big Ten, there was clearly (in my opinion) unsportsmanlike conduct that resulted in injury to another player. But again, you are entitled to your view. All I was hoping to point out is that I hope the refs keep this game under control and regardless of who is engaged in unsportsmanlike conduct, I hope they are shown the bench.

I'm interested to see what Prime says in his Press Conference. One of my favorite quotes is from Remember the Titans - "Attitude reflects leadership." You see this in their team. They have a HC who is full of himself, has main character syndrome and the disease of me. He can't handle criticism and neither can his team. They flash expensive jewelry and money around, taunt their opponents, and create unnecessary narratives to try to pump themselves up to play. I really hope we humbly and decisively beat them through sound, fundamental football. Our team has character. Theirs doesn't.

If we are a strong program in the Big10 play and if finishing well in the Big10 is what will matter most to qualify for post season play, doesn’t make since to keep Power 4 match ups high value games? We need to play Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Texas A&M, Kansas State and other previous rivals outside of the Big Ten. We need to do this for national notoriety recruiting, and the other potential benefits that come from winning these games or at least competing well year after year.

That 3-3-5 Defense also sacked Shedur 8x last yr and kept Colorado scoreless under the 5 min mark of the 2nd qtr..... Nebraska had DREADFUL QB play last yr and the 4 Turnovers were the reason CU went N at half with a 13-00 lead..... Nebraska did not have a full D Line last yr and they gassed out at ALTITUDE N the 2nd half..... Nebraska Defense is healthy, fresh and ready for Shedur an Co...... I cannot wait til this game. Nebraska doesnt have the secondary or the DB's to stop the WR room of CU. Shedeur will be able to sling that ball all over the field just like last year. 36-7! Nebraska did nothing to their secondary. When you go against shedeur, travis, horn, wester, sheppard, miller and soo many more, they are going to walk to floor with Nebraska mediocre secondary. On top of that you cannot get into a shoot out with CU. NOBODY CAN. Nebraska cannot contain shedeur and travis and all their weapons. This year will be no different.

I thought giving up only one late touchdown on defense was quite a bit different than the first half. Also, ND State is no slouch. They have been in 9 out of the last 11 FCS Championship games. They regularly upset D1 teams.

@@sykwiddit8575 Throwing the ball down the field on your side of the field late in the fourth quarter with a slight lead isn’t good coaching. Instead they should be running the ball to run out the clock. Tells you Colorado has no confidence in running game .

CU has quickly become the most delusional fan base in the country. How do you lose 8 out of your last 9 games, including losing to Stanford when you were up 29, barely beat an FCS team AT HOME in your opener, and then hop on a Nebraska youtube channel claiming you're going to blow them out when you are an underdog by more than a TD? People had cu on upset alert and said there was a chance for ndsu to win but like 95 percent of people were picking cu to win. And cu fans themselves were saying stuff like 56-0. We beat yall last year as a 10 point underdog, and barely beat CSU & won only 4 games… UTEP is predicted to be the worst team in FBS, While NDSU is projected to win their Conference.. AGAIN😂😂 & beat 6 out of the last 8 FBs teams they played.. That’s the difference

I hope the game doesn't become a gunslinger ego fest between the two quarterbacks trying to outduel each other with deep balls. I can envision a sloppy game filled with interseptions and incomplete passes. I know Rhule will be able to keep Dylan under control a lot better than Deon, who will just let his kid do whatever he wants to do. GBR!
