I remember No Doubt back in those AWESOME college days. Such a never ending great time back then. Tons of friends around your age, no one had responsibilities so everyone was always available. We’d go to concerts all the time. Different life.
that innocent shoulder shrug to the ear is classic 😄. Gwen is 50+, a wife, a mother and she still embodies this same energy today! that's why I like her.
God this was such an amazing time to be a teenager. Those afternoons when parents were still at work and i was watching all the MTV I wanted before they got home. Amazing.
same, I remember seeing this in my dorm sophomore year. I remember thinking, on the last note, “WOW, who is this new hotness, she’s an amazing performer”. Was very smart of her to put her name on her shirt :)
back when you were younger. You think that over 2000 years music went bad when you get older?...No Music is still good. It's you who don't listen new bands.
Hunter Lehmann Oh yeah? The GGD’s weren’t really my thing, but I remember them being quite famous as well, around this general time. Were they saying Gwen Stefani had diva-esque tendencies on the road or something?
I remember seeing this live, at home, by myself on my first spring break in college. Loved it,but I was depressed 😂 I vowed to go on a real spring break trip every year after. Amazing what watching concerts on tv can motivated one to do.
I was 14 and first time ever seeing No Doubt and this song blew my mind! I also remember seeing the drummer and saying to myself, he looks so coooooolllllll.
Damn that snare sounds so good. This takes me back to a much simpler time. If you weren’t alive at that time it’s hard to describe how big No Doubt was. Gwen is one of the best pure performers of all time.
OMFG! This was soo awesome! I’m soo glad I found it! I remember watching this & my baby girl at the time in her lil walker jumping up & down to the music! I’m like, this lil girl has good taste! I will never forget that memory, now she’s involved in music & is lyrically talented. (She’s just a girl, in this crazy world!) This song brings back soo many beautiful memories to me! I 💗 No Doubt!
I remember this MTV spring break music concert event back when I was in elementary, mid 90's... I believe Cypress Hill performed the "Illusions" song as well. Be blessed
jenna thesingingdraghagdiva I actually remember seeing this on MTV way back when. I graduated high school in 1999, so I reckon I’d have been a sophomore or so. Do you ever get that feeling where something like this video doesn’t seem that long ago, but then you realize holy crap, I can’t believe that’s over 20 years ago? That’s been happening to me a lot in the last couple of years. It’s like it clicks that I really am getting old. Then I wonder if this is how my parents felt things from their time.
im trying to remember this day 3-14-96 , i was 20 still lived at home i was unemployed but was having fun evry weekend ,, the movie good will hunting is a good explanation of 90s life in that either you came from money and was in college or u were blue collar and trying to work
great times although most of us will remember we thought the 90s kinda sucked in the 90s because we were kind of a lost generation just loitering , but we knew how to party maybe not how to adult but how to party
I miss this Gwen . She was so much more fun when she wasn't so polished . I know nothing lasts forever, but some artists today wouldn't have made it, if they were up against the Titans of music from the 90s . Not that there weren't any cookie-cutters or yawn-yawn whiners back then too, but still . The 80s - 90s were the BEST ! Life itself was more fun for me back then .
You know it Jake pure happiness just being outside all night drinking and smoking bud chillen old E 40z and blue and red st Ides and the finest purple Haze that real puday 👍😎 God bless everyone 🙏
I was at this concert. It was terrible. They filmed the ending first because the bulk of the crowd was there. But the end of the show most everyone had left because it was bad.
