I've always wanted to try viseart but something always holds me back. And the more I the watch reviews from smaller channels I realized the bigger channels were blowing smoke and the formula is not magical like a unicorn like they say. Theresa is Dead I know she said something about how some of the shades were labeled as “sheer matte pigments” that could be used wet or dry and I think those may be the grittier shades you talked about. I hope you can get it to work for you!

I hit early radiotherapy induced menopause like a plane into a brick wall. I burst into tears one day and didn't stop crying until a few weeks on HRT and every night I go hot flushes so bad my bf said 'I thought you'd pished the bed ha ha ha.' So yeah, you might want to have an exit strategy x
I can’t even wait👻👻👻👻👻👻. I hope you feel better. I will say I’ve heard and felt a difference between The GrandPro 1 (which I have) and their smaller palettes. Also people seem to rave about the mattes, while the shimmers are just typical. Anyway if you ever get the chance, GrandPro 1 is definitely worth the investment.
FWIW, I’ve had good luck with the larger palettes (their regular $80 ones, not the giant $175 ones. I don’t have the patience for a giant palette like that). I think that the dark mattes one is really worth it. Keep an eye on Muse Beauty Pro and Alcone, both run sales on those palettes from time to time. Hope you feel better soon!
Bob is bananas! I hate pickles too, girl. I've heard these 9 pan palettes tend not to have the same quality as the larger 12 pan pro palettes or the theory palettes. Idk but the looks were pretty. I have their matte 12 pan palettes and one theory palette. I like the color story, but reviews aren't consistently great. Ah well!

Girl I feel you on the pickle issue. I HATE HATE PICKLES 🤮 . My daughter is OBSESSED with them . It sucks . The smell of pickles makes me sick . I usually make her go outside and eat her pickles 🤷 I can't deal. She's lucky I even buy them for her, that's how much I hate pickles. I don't even want them in my house., But I love her so I but them she just has to go way away from me to eat them 😉

My friend and I love Rick and Morty. Last Christmas I drew a face on a pickle with a Sharpie and sent it to him on Whatsapp. We still laugh about it now.
The 90 dollar one is worth it. I usually wait for a sale or go to a makeup show to get them. I think I have 5 and I don't regret buying them unlike natasha denona's palettes where I go "Why did I do that??"
I agree that the Petite Pro palettes are quite different from the square nine pans. I have the Tryst & Golden Hour. The formula is easy to work with & had beautiful finishes. I would say that they are worth the $$. Will you pick up any other Viseart palettes?
I didn’t get the Dose of Colors Mickey Mouse palette either, I opted for the Friendcation palette since it was on sale for Black Friday. All the looks I’ve seen with it have been gorgeous so I’m looking forward to it :)

Cevalip it's one if those things where I think I'm keeping it just for the name honestly. You have to build and build and build to get any payoff. The shimmers work well with fingers but I have chunky fingers and hooded eyes so getting the colors in the right spots is difficult for me. Idk I may give it another go. But I wouldn't pay full price for the little pros ever.

Cevalip I use urban decay primer potion or shape tape concealer, and the brushes are alamar eyeshadow brushes. Not sure of their actual names but they came in a boxycharm. Or my crown brushes. Again not sure of the names those came in a fab fit fun box. I'm definitely not a makeup artist just a regular girl lol so it could very well just be my non experience with working with them.
@@Charlie_Sully personally I'm in the subculture sucked because it mudled up top fast and was a pain to use😂 so even though the artists may do awesome things eyeshadow shouldn't be hard to use - especially when made for and marketed to non-professionals.. I asked about the brushes more so because using natural hair brushes (if it were an option you had/you already had some) might do some good👍 Do you set your primer/concealer with something before applying eyeshadow? Ideally it would work no matter what one does, but perhaps some of the "trouble shooting" might help😊
Lol you hate pickles😂 My friend also hates them, and gives his to me all the time. And thanks for talking me out of the Libertine palette. I almost bought it. The $80 viseart palettes are nice..... but I never reach for them.

I was really pining for that Libertine palette when it first came out but didn't get it because it was only available on the Beautylish website. Now that it's on Sephora it's more appealing since I could return it if I wanted but I think I am probably just going to pass at this point. I'd be interested to know if you did end up making it work better for you though! I hope you feel better asap! What do you think Bob should eat at your next meeting?? haha
I’m a walking cliché and went a little too hard on the pickles my last pregnancy. It was 9 months of kosher dills and apple cider vinegar shots. Haven’t been able to look at one since. And it’s a sad day when morphe is recommended over viseart. I haven’t tried those but the $80 palettes really are great. The dark mattes is one of my most used palettes.
That is the palette I wanted to get! But, it wasn't on sale. When there is another sale, I am going to pick it up. :-) And, yes, it's sad that I am recommending Morpha hahaha
My 1st Viseart was the Pettie Pro, really liked it and went on to get the warm/cool and the Golden hour and then the dark matts all on sale as my broke ass can only afford them when on sale. Love the warm/cool but not played alot with the dark matt. I found putting a base like foundation or concealer it doesnt blend well, without its does so much better. I need the Mac paint pot as I hear thats the one to make all shadows pop.
I dont like pickles too!! Unless they are the japanese variation 😍😍 the biggest thing with viseart for me is everyone says their mattes are the better formulation over the shimmers but i dont wear that many mattes daily. What do the shimmer formulas remind you of?
After the Sunday Riley review bru-haha, I’m even more skeptical than ever about written reviews on places like Sephora. Maybe lots of those Viseart reviews were written by employees... i know this comment is 2000 years late but the Libertine palette actually has a “way” to use some of the shades the hard pressed pigments are meant to be used wet (or dry as a “sheer” wash of color) for lining purposes or just to get more of a vibrant pay off. i suggest reading viseart’s site or even temptalia’s review to get better info. now i know more details on it, i love it!
Have you ever considered buying and reviewing some indie brand makeup? I have a palette from Pinky Rose cosmetics that has an awesome array of neon colors admittedly with three pressed glitters. I also have a palette from Blush Tribe that I have enjoyed so far, but I am still trying it out some more. I wouldn't buy some indie makeup just for the channel because of some of the shipping costs, but if something catches your eye it might be cool to see some featured here.
Yep! I have reviewed two indie brands (Makeup Maniacs/Cliondah). I purchased something from Blush Tribe but have yet to receive it. It's been going on almost 2 months now. :-(

I also noticed that purple on your left eyelid fading even as you blended other colors on your lid. I’m going to have to agree with you about the lesser quality on the Libertine palette. That’s too bad considering the brand.
While I know this is old, I would highly recommend the Paris edit palette. $38 and worth every penny. Love the shit out of that palette. Tiny and I take it everywhere.

I Sent an email explaining what happened because I couldn’t call them. Hopefully they honor the special or refund my money. I will let ya know what happens.

Golden hour is def more like the grande pro 1 formula which I love , if your on fence def I recommend the grande pro 1 tryst is also more like Golden hour haven't tried the libertine palette to comment. By the way I got blood sugar today for you will post in morning xxxx

I bought one Viseart palette, the dark one, and returned it. I don't get it...seems like hype to me. It muddied and wasn't at all worth it. Have BH palettes that are way better. The Libertine intrigued me...but uh..no...thanks for this. As far as very expensive...I like DaNona......I got the McGrath V, gorgeous package, but the shadows weren't special enough for me...JMO. Very helpful review, Thanks!
