Well depend on your monitor. if you have ultrawide monitor playing at that resolution is blurry *not really the right word* but u know kinda pixelated thing like at 6:22 mark that how it look like when ur on ultrawide monitor @ low resolution.
So basically 50+ fps on 1080p medium in almost all titles. We can fiddle with the resolution and settings a bit plus a couple driver updates and maybe get even more fps! Definitely more than adequate for a no GPU PC!
@@SwedishBadger764 it doesn't worth mentioning if you're not giving detailed information. 32gb of ram is nothing, even 16gb is more than enough for modern games, any greater of size with same latency make no sense. amd cpus are very intensive on ram's cl and frequency (cas latency/frequency=actual latency)
With Ryzen, you usually get best ram performance at 3800MHz, Gamers Nexus has an excellent video explaining this, it’s to do with the infinity fabric running at 1:1, but above 3833MHz it jumps to 2:1 so performance drops, but starts to increase again with frequency.
@@ETAPRIME I think even numbered series are the GPUs and odd numbered ones the CPUs. I'm 80% sure the next Radeons will be 8000 series and the next Ryzens 7000s
@@HontasFarmer80 yeah but they will be . Right now I can buy 4350G , 4650G and 4750G separately but I wanna wait for for 5000 or maybe 6000 series APUs
@@JudeTheRU-vidPoopersubscribe I do not know why people like that idea. At last with budget GPUs, you can swap it, and sell it. And also you can choose which GPU to get with your CPU, while for APUs- to get the top iGPU, you have to pay for top model of CPU too.
This thing is a beast. If you're primarily into esports titles, indies, or MMOs like WoW/FF14 you'll basically come out of the GPU shortage unscathed because of this thing.
@@sebastiaoredondo4388 Haven't had anything like that happen, but I was also able to get my hands on a dedicated GPU so I stopped using onboard graphics a while ago. Try updating motherboard bios/chipset drivers/stuff like that.

Your channel is quite unique I like the fact that you care about making a benchmark on a build that is actually " feasible " I am tired of all those who focus solely on builds having a flashy 3090 RTX And the emulation part is really nice for those who want to experience games they had played in their childhood Or for those who are now young and want to see how modern games were in fact heavily influenced by " oldies " And my final point is that gaming is not a sport for the super rich who can obtain a 3090 RTX at a price near $4.000
@@MandoMTL But 3400G is damn old now. It is Zen+. Hardly support RAM clocks above 3466Mhz. No worries though, AMD already mentioned that they will launch 5000G series in retail soon.
Curious about how big of a change that high-speed RAM really does make. Any chance you could swap the sticks out for that DDR4-3600 you mentioned and run tests at stock and OC, then compare to this?
Its really important to keep cache:ram ratio 1:1, which is only possible up to 3800mhz if am not mistaken. Anythijg over that will mess up that ratio and you will start to lose performance.
The Renoir and Cezanne (4000 and 5000) APUs have better IMCs than the regular Zen 3s reused Zen 2 IMC so they can support FCLKs of up to 2200 (4400 RAM).
since 3200 is a "sweet spot" for best performance the %age wont be so drastic- how i know? i got 4x8gigs @ 3200mhz g.skill flare x- popping in 3600mhz wont make that much diff at all
im also planning to upgrade my r5 2600 stock cooler in a bad airflow case. Tried to find some budget heatsinks but do u think a budget AIO like ID Cooling would be better? im planning to push my cpu to 4.1-4.2ghz but and 4ghz in just crashes on the stock cooler
I am looking at a prebuilt pc that has good response with good specs except for storage but its not a problem for me, i can afford a bigger ssd, the biggest problem ive heard about it is airflow. How can i increase airflow?
2023, this chip can be had for a song (just $80-100), and with FSR 2.1, 90% of todays titles can be played at 1080p 30-60fps, and its very smooth, the AMD driver set for these APU's have come a long way, and its a very capable chip for the price, some folks have posted very impressive overclocking guides, with this chip seeing anywhere from 10-25% improvement in benchmarking, stick to ddr4 3800mhz for best performance as mentioned below regarding infinity fabric's bottleneck, for me myself, i think its the best bang for buck cpu on the market, 5700g prices are still holding strong, so the little 6 core that could truly is the underdog, the 5600g price cannot be ignored, its simply an amazing deal paired with the right board and ram.
I think keeping the CPU at stock or even undervolt/underclocking it would allow more thermal headroom to overclock the GPU which is what is needed the most.
Ryzen Master will optimize by under volting each or all at once 12 cores if you raise Cpu frequency higher to 4.2 Ghz. Huge performance gain! No overheating!
THANK YOU SOO MUCH I ordered a pc exactly like this and I was kinda worried that there is no gpu,but after watching ur video I feel better U got a subs
When this aired it was still an expensive and thus unattractive option, but now the prices have come down this one of the best options around atm. GPU prices didn't go down much , but a mainboard + 5600G you can get for about 200 dollar!
APUs are the future. The main advancements lately have come in efficiency not overall performance. It won't be long until you see 2060 level performance on an apu that draws 45 watts total. Think AAA 1440p 144hz gaming on a handheld. 2030? Maybe 2027? :D
I don't know why you use dynamic scaling in Warzone when you can set the resolution and set the scaling manually to find out how far down it has to go to reach 60 fps.
I dont understand. AMD info page says that 5600g only supports ram up to 3200 mhz. Why did you use ram at 4000 mhz?? The procesor support it at full speed?? What is going on??
I don't know if someone or even anyone will see this, but I really want to have a PC like this so badly, I know this isn't the proper place to talk about this, but due to being poor and having ₱100($2) as allowance for school everyday, I can't even afford a complete set of PC. But it won't stop me to pursue this dream that someday I can finally have this.
I'm getting my Ryzen 5 5600G with 32GB Corsair Vengeance 3600Mhz memory either at the back end of this week, or the beginning of next week. The wait is killing me.
this is exactly how i build my kids pc's, just with a ryzen 3 3200g instead, and they got their gpu's now, a used 1050ti and a used 1650, haven't encountered a game they can't run on high quality yet after installing the gpu's.
This 5600g is a real beast ! It really only needs to be not too expensive, like at most $50 more than a stock 5600x and it would be perfect. Nice video ETA, thanks !
@@mhh3 6 Zen 3 cores with RX 550 or better integrated GPU for $350 in the current market is absolutely not expensive. Don't forget the 5600x is quickly getting less and less expensive, for APUs like this, the price drop will be even more pronounced. The 4650g is available for around $250 right now which is already so impressive.
Considering none of the 5000 Series APU's have PCIe 4.0 support not to forget lower Clock Speed compared to the 5000 Series CPU's, if they are priced higher than base 5000's Series CPU's, then that would be pretty bad. I would say that, considering AMD APU's have lower performance than their CPU's, the 5000 Series APU's should be priced atleast $50-100 lower than their CPU counterpart.
@@mhh3 Dude, YOU are out of your mind. This CPU for 350 is an amazing deal, since it's 5% slower than the 5600X but still packs that iGPU that has the same performance as a RX 550 with no VRAM constraints so you can buy this, throw in 32GB dual channel ram and enjoy a bunch of older titles as the GPU market comes back to life
Hi there! First-time viewer here. Thank you so much for putting this together. I was scouring the internet trying to find a video like this. One request, if I may: Could you please include 1% Low FPS numbers in addition to your averages next time? The 1% Lows are always what I use to determine if a game is playable or not, and despite the helpful information here, there was no mention of that. Thanks!
Yep, it good. I just built a desktop and used the Ryzen 5600G. I have had a lot of problems with GPU's in the past. When my previous PC's have died, it is usually the GPU and power supply that fails. So I saved myself some money this time and bought the Ryzen 5600G, although even using some of my old parts, the build still cost AU$1500.This is the first PC I built myself. AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics 3.90 GHz, 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Damn thats awesome..i like that APU..ordered it already and am sure that will boost my AsRock x300 with new bios update to the max!! Amazing Video! Thanks @ETA PRIME!!!!
Another benefit to these Apus is Freesync. I know that sounds silly but if you pick up a cheap Freesync monitor with these, it can really help to smooth things over.
I've always wondered why AMD isn't flooding the market with these, a power user will always remain one and this won't undercut any of their other products.
Time exclusive contracts with the big players like HP, Lenovo, and Dell if I HAD to guess? That's what you can get when you push millions? The corner cutting by them, yeah it would be nice if that ended, but that's consequences of our twisted capitalism variant? 1 stick of RAM still in new DUAL channel compatible systems..... ARGH!!!!!!!!
@@dy7296 4000g/5000g vega is basically lower core counts but much higher clockspeeds... there was no competition from intel until now in igpu department
@@SweatyFeetGirl right. Like how the new Vega 8 on the 5700g has 8 CUs like the 3200g, but higher clocks, which gave it the graphics performance beyond the "old" Vega 11 on 3400g.
i like watching computer gaming chanels and keep my self bussy since i have no pc or a laptop to play games but am still praying to God. i played my first game when i was 12 since then i wished for my own.
Actually they haven't really been improving enough... it's still just 8 vega cores... if overclocked they are ok, but think about the new consoles and those are APUs! That's a huge disparity in GPU performance. Desktop really needed something like a 16 vega core APU option especially in this GPU price nightmare we live in.
One thing you need to be careful of is the Asus board here may come with an older bios on it...which means it needs to be updated to work with this cpu. Without a cpu that can help with that step...it's no good as the board does not have Bios Flashback capabilities. I had to return the board for another type.
Last winter my son and I built his first PC, we used a 5700G and it's been a great machine. We waited till last for the motherboard, so our parts source could get us the ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming Wi-Fi II , the "2" model supported the APU without a Bios flash or anything needed. I'm debating a small PC build for my living room PC, with no GPU, just an AMD Ryzen 5000 series "G" chip... and I would really like to have a motherboard that just WORKS right out of the box... can you help me decipher which would do that and also be smaller than ATX size? Thanks, liked and subbed...
Would it be possible to make a short tutorial on ryzen master overclocking? Like the CPU and RAM for people that don't have a BIOS overclock option. Thank you
every pc needs a gpu to display video dudes. its just that in those weird non gpu cases the gpu is integrated somewhere on the mb, so those systems of course also need a graphics "device", even if that doesnt mean you have a conventional pci e "card" but technically its the same.
I'm just playing with my pc cpu that is the i5 11400 and no graphics card. I'm being able to use x264 encoder, stream and record at the same time my roblox content. also getting over 100 fps on the lowest settings (I'm streaming on 1080p 60fps by the way and my streams/videos and my game are never lagging) and well I'm just very happy with it
You can change the allocation of system ram to vram in your bios. I have my Ryzen 5 3600g running on 8gb dedicated vram. Yours, according to your task manager screen, is at the default 512mb.
I think you should double the ram and then increase the vga buffer to 4 or 8 gigs. I think the results would be better. The way you have it set up you are only giving 512 mb of shared ram to the vga. Just my thoughts...
