Fore - Front Aft - Rear Starboard - Right Port - Left These are Ye Olde Sailing terminologies. They still exist today. I believe they are some of the oldest Old English words still used in modern life. These terms were coined in 1543 and are still used today in modern navies.
There is a mod 11:13 that gives you all the specialty parts at your Outpost landing pad I believe it's called all ship parts if I remember correctly so you won't have to travel to all the star yards

@@danieleangelini6238 The landing gears shows up at your outpost's large landing pad or even in New Atlantis ship tech. For Deimos you can go to their ship yard that's Orbiting Mars in Sol System.
I followed the tutorial and managed to make the ship, but I made changes, as I had no access to the cabin, the double part of the strout had no door, and with only 2 engines it was slow, I added more, the rest was great. Congratulations on your creativity. Although I like giant warships haha
@@NEON-Jai They released a mod on the Xbox One where you can put your own doors, it looks cool now, but the engines were weak, I put other models to complement it
I would like to build this ship to use in game, but I'm running into issues of my game crashing. So I will have to start over and install the essential mods for building these ships. Great video.
Thank you! I hope it works out for you. I have noticed more crashes since mods became available. Mostly for me it has been outpost mods that cause crashes.
My new modded ship is based on my no mods ship called the archangel SR2 things like the bismark of space its a tank and ships that try to attack from any side are met by huge guns 3 turrets that cover the sides and top nothing lasts against it plus its pretty comfy on the inside only needed 1 mod for it
Love this ship, on Xbox I cannot get some of the Avontech pieces to snap, the large fuel tanks won't snap onto the cargo holds and the reactor/grav drives refuse to snap to the radiators...
@@vitalmind I also had issues with the cockpit totally forgot... I think there were portholes in the way. I moved them out of the way, placed the cockpit then used the flip glitch to put the portals back in place.
@@jkleczewski those are the first things I got rid of and it still wouldn't go. I'll take another shot at it and see what I can figure out. Don't think it's a mod Conflict because I don't have any installed that alter how things get installed except for the one he uses in the video.
@@jkleczewski quick update, fixed the cockpit issue. Just had to do what you did. I also fixed the issue with the fuel tanks. I moved the avontech mod below the ship tweaks one in my load order. Everything from avontech connected now the right way.
Ohh, I did not pay attention to that and because I remove and change parts many times through out the process, it's hard to keep up on the exact amount of credits. If I have to guess, I think I had 2 million when I started and ended with 1.5 million credits left.
I like the mod with the stairs. However, I've been having a lot of problems with it. Especially with the 3x1 Double Height hab. Quite often the door on the second level will not be created, especially when connecting to a 2x2 hab, which blocks the path of the interior without giving an error. Also, you cannot change the primary color of these habs. I also noticed that the crew cannot climb the stairs which leaves them stuck on whatever floor they spawn. Have you noticed any of these issues?
Yes, I have the same issue with the second level door, which is why I have a HopeTech Hab Spine connected to it, which forced the door to appear. I noticed about the color issue too, but since the hab is stuck inside other parts, I didn't mind it so much. I haven't noticed about the crews not going up until you just mentioned it now. Most of the time the crew is already on the second floor, but I have noticed Sarah or Andreja not going up but instead despawing and respawning on the second floor.
Amazing ship and really well-done guide! Just one thing. I can't build an Armillary on the ship with it. I can choose to build one but then nothing happens whereas if I do so for another ship it works just fine. Any advice on what changes I should do?
I didn’t know you could put an armillary in the ship. I thought it’s only activated through the panel in the cockpit. If you use a mod, it could be a mod conflict. But I’m not 100% sure.
@@NEON-Jai Yeah, i use the cockpit panel, but it's already on for some reason (should be off when the Amilarry isn't built yet) and telling it to build does nothing. Hm, can you build an armilarry on this ship via the panel? If not, i'll try to turn off mods and see what causes it.
@@NEON-Jai Just turned off every mod except the four needed for this ship build. Didn't work, I still can't build a ship armillary via the panel. Oh well, it's a minor inconvenience anyway. I can just transfer to another ship if I wanna hit new game plus.
@@vendetta543 That's strange, because the cockpit is a vanilla part. As far I can tell, the Armillary does not show up in the build menu as something that you can put inside the ship.
@@NEON-Jai it’s not build menu. I click the vanilla panel and tell it to install the armillay. On any other ship, this then installs it properly. For this ship, a sound plays but nothing happens. Something to note as well. Normally, the panel is black before installing the armillary, at which point it turns on. For this ship it’s already on.
Hi, can someone give me some advice? I know mods can cause this. I get into the ship, onto the landing pad and it goes nowhere further, no doors. Is this some kind of bug due to a mod?
Hi do you know how to build a Star born ship? I've got them open in my ship customisation since completing Star born but have no idea how to build one.
I don’t think the starborn ships can be modified or built. I know there’s a mod to get the starborn cockpit as a part. But I think that’s about it. I could be wrong

Okay, I'm thinking you have a mod installed that's letting you snap things in certain ways. Like someone else, I cannot get the fuel tanks to connect and the cockpit refuses to connect.
The 4 mods that I showcased are the only ship related mods that I have installed. If some else is having the same issues, maybe they can chime in. Also, I'm on PC and never tried this on Xbox since I don't have one.
@@NEON-Jai I have the same issu. I cant connect the Tanks to the S204 cargo space, cant place the cockpit and even the warp engines have a collision to the shielded cargo space
@@benjamindurr2622 A few commenters below had same issues but they managed to solve it by moving the Avontech mod below the Ship Tweaks in the load order.
lol. You could use console command to give yourself more credits if you wish to go that route. Since the mods disables achievements any ways. I believe it’s player.additem f #(amount of credit, don’t give yourself more then 100 million, I heard it makes selling/buying with vendors weird)
Is it just me or is there a loading screen glitch when going into the ship. I can’t even get into the ship without the game freezing. Please help. I love this design so much. I gotta see the inside for myself 🙏
@@NEON-Jai I’m on Xbox and I can’t seem to get into the cockpit through the landing bay. I tried reloading the save an deleting my mods but the game freezes every time I enter the ship through the landing bay. Idk why tho
@@cyruscolson5302 I know other had some issues on Xbox as well. I don't have a console myself. Maybe some else experienced the same thing can chime in? Have you checkd if you have anything in between the landing bay and hab? Maybe a porthole that should not be there?
@@NEON-Jai it’s weird cause I have my base located in Hyla 2 and the ship is completely flat with no interference. Maybe it’s cause I have the landing platform halfway in the water but idk if that’s the actual reason or not.
@@cyruscolson5302 I don't think that would affect the ship. Have you tried fast traveling to New Atlantis, spawn the build there and try entering? I hope someone on Xbox can help with this.
