Not 100% sure about this, but I think they may have increased the mob density, leading to meteor procing more often and more out of mana issue despite the mana buffs. The mana in the build showcased here (1.9~2k) is basically the point when you are near mana neutral with this particular setup. That said, you can just run single Meteor and/or damage Glacier and it is more than enough damage in lower monos and much easier on mana.
Working fine here with 700 mana. Single meteor (don't get Twin Meteor, instead I went World Ender / Astral Cataclysm / Apocalytic Impact), save Static Orb usage for free cast (mana tunnel's teleport refund) or spam it into negative mana to instant recover with Focus and I'm having a blast. Even when I was triple meteor rain and spec'd into Flame Ward over Focus it was a faster build than Glacier by itself, including the out mana downtime, so personally I would switch over at ~500 mana if I were to do it again and be luckier on belt drop.
It is a lot of flat damage and I'm scaling generic spell damage, damage type doesn't matter. It is also one of the eaiest item to get 4LP with and was cheap. Probably not cheap now though.
Can we have a proper definition of "budget" here? Because 2k mana and 7k ward doesn't look very "budget" to me. Sure maybe you don't have any legendary but having double T6 / T7 isn't exactly "budget"
hello if someone sees comment might answer this - so I got 1k mana with a bit of different gear atm was doing solo meteor build. if I try to spec now will it work with 1k mana or I need at least 1500 somehow?
@@HUNLIGHTtm 1.5k mana is for the CoC multi Meteor version which is the most mana intensive one. Others require less but I have not tested the exact numbers.
I've seen people play differently, but personally I will try to always stay at full mana for lost knowledge ward generation. If your can't, cut multi-Meteor to single Meteor or even cut Meteor all together for damage Glacier.
