Sorry the update got leaked, guys. But still, thank you for listening to the community so much. NEXT really needed more diversity and you listened to the fans. Thank you so much for not abandoning the game!
It's so blyatiful ! If only someone could tell me if it runs at 720p(or even 1024x768) and all low on Ryzen 2200u, 2300u, 2500 or 2700u laptops !!! I need to know !!!
@@Choice777 I played the 1.0 release in a gtx660m, it ran like shit, but now that the engine has had improvements and performance patches, did give it a go.
@@Choice777 That defeats one of the main points of this genre of games - the immersive world & its graphics. It doesn't make sense to try and run it on a low-end machine. Just wait until you have a more powerful PC. It is worth the wait.
In the history of video gaming, in all honesty here, I've never seen a game developer not only 'redeem' their game that well over time; but also passionately and consistently working on it to simply improve it as much as possible. The 'redeeming' ark has long been achieved, and now No Man's Sky is genuinely quite an enjoyable game. If this game in its current state had been released as is back in 2016 it would have been a phenomenon.
@@Choice777 Well it should but whats your gpu in the laptop? I run this in 5k at 60fps and i have a ryzen 5 1600. But again...graphics card is the most important thing. also you listed like 4 different processors lmao... pick one please and i will tell you
@@BigDaddyWes I agree. Everything they promised should have been there right on launch day, and it's inexcusable that it wasn't. But at the same time, I'm so happy that HG didn't abandon NMS and is actively updating it to the live up to its full potential.
Thank you to the person who was supposed to upload this as unlisted, but accidentally uploaded public, and then made it unlisted! You are a hero to us all!!!
In comparison fallout 76. Fans: if it's gonna be an online service, give us a substantial plot with NPCs. Bethesda: here's microtransactions for cosmetics then.
@@terrathelunatic back in like June or July No Man's Sky received an update that completely overhauled the game. It changed the graphics, terrain generation, flora and fauna generation, planet generation, and added in full multiplayer support. The planets before next were also a lot more "alien", in that they had bizarre color pallets and much weirder creatures.
Yup. I still haven't bought it yet because I feel like its not quite there yet for me personally, but there is NO denying that HG is really really really giving it their all to push this game forward to match the expectations so many people had for its release.
'More will follow' This, this is the part that gives me chills whenever I watch these trailers, especially now that we've seen what these '1.x' updates deliver. If this is what we can expect from the timing and scope of future updates...... I can't even begin to imagine what NMS will be by this time next year.
i agree this games redemption story is one of the best out there! if not the best.. but i am worried about their revenue.. i mean it is still doing good in sales but it is not like an mmorpg with subscription and all this updates are totally free..(and i love it..) i wish there was an optional subscription plan that i can buy and give me some cool cosmetics for my ships or character... not any boosts for faster grinding or anything pay to win in that case i wouldn't support it! but just cosmetics so i can support them and in turn they keep supporting this game!
Hello Games : You are AMAZING !!!!! Thank you for this beautiful game, I play it since the release and I never stopped more than 1 month (1500 hours yet).
Seriously hello games this is insane. You guys are the BOMB. Omg. I've been whining about the color pallet for a good while now, and exploration update etc. Now i see this. AWESOME!!!!!!!
It feels like yesterday when this came out. Now it's been almost two years and we've had 6 major updates since then, the latest being Origins. In a few months, we'll probably have something even more amazing. Thank you, Hello Games ♥
I am so happy you guys are keeping this game fresh! I know you guys have had so much feedback (hopefully more positive now) and the community is absolutely appreciated of your guys never-ending work! I hope whatever game you guys are making next will also be a wonder to behold!!
Hello Games you are trully listening to us, your community. This next update is something that we've been all asking for! More flora & fauna...more biomes… the color pallet... That survey worked ffs!!! 😍 I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! NMS is my fav game ever… and i've been a gamer since more than 35 years! Keep it up
I fucking love you guys, you have grown SO MUCH on me over the years. Hands down one of the best developers out there, achieving so much in such short time. I love NMS and I love living in a universe which feels alive and ever changing with your enthusiasm. Keep doing whatever you're doing. You're good at it.
Hello Games should add: Volcanoes that erupt Hurricanes Tornadoes Lightning and thunder storms Big waves or huge waves like Interstellar Shooting stars / comets crashing on the planets Advanced civilizations on planets Huge pyramids Drones that can help find resources or see other parts of the planet without traveling to it Waterfalls Artificial islands UFO phenomenons and spying Satellites Supernovas Keep up the good work.
The continued non stop work is something to praise, but I insist we need gravity based geographical remarks, geisers, waterfalls, rivers, crevasses, better caves, localized rain, and a lot of effects that depend on The player position should be made independent, also frozen bodies of water, snow caps, altitude differential climates, mixed biomes, a proper plains and dessert biome, a proper volcanic and geologic activity with lava and volcanoes. My biggest disappointment yet is that no celestial body is ever "under construction" as in planets are always alive or dead without a young lava filled planet, or hot full of geisers, is always a Rocky planet too, we need gas Giants with no normal surface filled with flying snakes and sky whales (there was a mod for gigantic space whales) my second one is that all life in NMS looks carbon based, are there other more crystalline and silicone based life designs? If not this should be the next update. I'll still be here in 3 or 4 years when HG keeps working on this. I'm a 1.0 fan btw, I never bought the PR pressure "lies" so I enjoyed it since release.
@@Matt-uk7zq for God saket, hey're minerals Marie!! Yeah rocks are not exactly minerals, imagine a life form based in quartz for example, see through but solid, or another that base is Obsidian. I don't know, I feel hello games stood to grounded in their designs.
Remember hyping this game in 2016 and when it came out so many people made Sean public enemy No.1 everyone thought I just supported him because he was Irish like me, but I had faith that he was passionate about it and would shape it into something good (not happy about releasing it for 59 bucks at launch but its probably something to do with sony) and I'm glad I stood by this game because it was the greatest turnaround I've ever seen in one.
@@butterdog29 I blew 60 EUR on it and still haven't really played it. I'm checking each major update for things I like. This seems to be the tipping point for me. I don't like the core gameplay, I want to freeplay and just chill and drift about and look at cool things, the biome and color palette expansion are the coolest things to me.
Just the worlds is mainly what I bought it for.. I mean, it was advertised as an exploration game.. So I did.. And all people: no gameplay what so I do, missions are lame, this that blablabla.. The worlds look beautiful, and became even more beautiful with every update. Now these enhancements, lady update the underwater biomes. It's still the same game in a sense compared to when it launched.. To me it is at least
From the worst lauch, to the greatest revival, the devs deserve sooo much praise for their work on this game. Honestly, this game came back big time. I'm glad these guys didn't give up on this game
As someone who just got a ps4, one of the first games I bought was No mans sky. I'm so excited that you keep adding to this game and slowly creating an amazing experience.
I am amazed by the fact that any developer would have left their game and thought "o well, we deserved a lot of money from that", and even if players didn't notice at first. you kept updating. love you guys
Good lord! I'm in awe of you all. You push out patches with the range of content that would be a full game for others. Fantastic work. I don't get to game as much as I want, but I have to laugh that your updates are coming faster than I can play and explore. When I do get a chance, it's like jumping into a new game with so much new content. Thanks by the way for the little fix of mixing up the freighter designs. I was getting a bit bored of the same frieghters crashed. I kept wondering, who is the manufacturer that designs a ship whose sole purpose is to crash? Lol. Again, thank you, thank you. You set the bar for every other development group. You just keep adding and improving and it's all FREE to us! Kudos!
Amazing. I had an incredible time yesterday visiting the Community planet. All the messages from fellow travelers were so wonderful to read. Thank you again for this next step in our journey.
You guys are amazing for not giving up on your game despite a very discouraging launch. Many developers would have abandoned their game and moved on to newer projects in the face of such failure, but you guys... You kept going with it. I wasn't able to afford the game at launch and stayed away after the bad launch, but now I bought the game and look forward to playing it (as soon as I can clear some hard drive space for it...)
I can't believe some of the things I voted for in the survey are actually going to be implemented into one of my favorite games :D Thank you for asking the community ^^
This update, for me, is exactly what I needed to make this game great for me. Before, the gameplay loop was often quite repetitive, with scarce memorable about different planets, and risky conditions were never needed to be braved in order to do well. With this, it seems to give more variety to the planet and reasons to explore in the harsh conditions. Thank you for supporting No Mans Sky! We dont deserve such incredible devs. Sorry about the leak as well ):
If by chance you add VR for NO MAN'S SKY, you will get way more people playing it just for the experience... And maybe you will make people to buy VR. This is insane.
Always keep wondering how many people actually own VR sets and if it is really worth it for a company to spend the effort to develop or port a game into VR.
VR user here. I would not buy this game for VR. That would in no way help it. It would be an ugly clunky experience seeing as this game is not DESIGNED for VR. It would need a complete revamp to even slightly work well, and even then VR users like me are such a small minority they'd make no money off of it.
Wow..Hello Games, you guy's have really exceeded your own standards for quality, thanks for the last 2 major updates No Man's Sky gets better & better👍🚀🎮📺
After NEXT, I thought Hello Games ran out of ideas. Like, there it was, pretty much everything they promised. What will they do next? I didn't think they'll add anything significant or spectacular, but I'm glad I was proven wrong.
Some of us have never stopped loving the universe Sean and Co gave us. I'll be playing this game long past it's so-called demise of relevance, along with Fallout 4, because they're just that good.
How cool wouldn't it be with more variation on the single planet, like climate and temperature zones! :-) Different temperatures depending on where you're located on the planet. Polar regions and tropical regions, flat regions, mountainous regions, rivers, deserts with rare, small (occational) quicksand areas that's almost impossible to distinguish from other desert areas (that really puts you to the test when you try to get out) dense rainforests, swamps and marshy grounds etc. A new more realistic weather system where you could recognize the bad weather just by looking at the clouds and where they are heading. You could avoid it by flying to another place not far away, and see when and where it is about to clear. And finally one more thing - that vehicles has seats for more than one player. Maybe also a turret or something - like the warthog in Halo. Thats my personal wishes. Looking forward to play the new update tomorrow! =) No mans sky is already great and is getting better and better!
Still pushing for change within the game, still improving the game instead of taking the easy road and giving up on the game and moving on to something else. Very impressive. Please keep it up :D
The amount of work you guys have put into this game is extraordinary! The game continues, not only to improve the basics, but to transform into a whole new experience. Thank you Hello Games; Thank you Sean. You guys are inspiring. The love received in all these public comments is well deserved; you earned it.
I would like to see Better NPCs. inhabitable planets like gas giant, ice planets, and dark planets, i want to be able to go to the sun, i want less rock in space. I want Comets, I want more flying floating fauna, i want different Biomes in planets including polar ice caps. I want meteor shower. space elevator, rockets, bullet trains, lava, volcanoes, more believable flora, less complicated building, modules and updates changing aparece, I want to be able to see the nearest stars on the sky and be able to warp with the ship to them without opening the starmap. I want to mine deeper, I want deeper and interesting caves, I want a drill module, I want some sort of glide, I wannt the choice to be able to open my ship whenever even if i die if i do so. I want a mount, I want a pet a real one, I want other tools, I would like to see breathable water planets, I would like to have some better swim equipment, i want to be able grab thing, eclipses, real star, insects, faster animals, tree animals, bigger mountains, steeper mountains, snow on high altitudes, ice on lakes, taller grass, more particles like leafs and fire, fire and lava planets, fast day/night cicles, more extreme and bizzare planets, boats, real rivers, real oceans, rising water level, animals that match the Environment, a more realistic race, remodel the Gek, only these few things and ill be happy to die playing this game.
Damn chilllll they did far enough for now they can’t add all that in at once it takes time. Great things take time to make. And is far worth the wait now that we have this new update!
I just will more realism like eclipse, because right now, even if the Sun is covered by a planet (when you are on a planet obviously) there is no effect on the illumination. And just more weather effect like lightning, for the rest it has to progress gradually.
I play new Battlefield now because its new :D but I have more then 300 hours in this awesome game and I really want continue in exploration after some time. Love u HG :)
I know that, in Playstation need minimum 60fps to reescale it to 120fps, but they add VR as a possibility in they path schedule so they could probably manage to fix that.
On Linux you can just use Wine, cause this game use OpenGL and every game with OpenGL works really fine on Linux with Wine. For Vulkan I think that's not that possible 'cause you have to rewrite entirely the game using those API.
I'm definitely glad to see how much the game has improved and I look forward to more updates. I honestly can't blame people who completely write off the game because of its disastrous initial release and not wanting to support something like that, but I'm personally just happy to see the game grow into something serviceable; even good.
If anything the hype for this trailer is even stronger because it was leaked.... Maybe whoever leaked it will have to shout a round but I don't see anyone getting fired over it :p
@@Aussie_Tom I don't think that the leak makes the hype stronger, because everything in the video is well explainend and erveryone know what comes with the update. So ther is no reason to be overhyped or disapointed when it is out
All my favorite Sci Fi books of the 1960's thru 1980's in one game that keeps getting better like a fine Bordeaux. Droids would also be a fun addition.
