I just deleted app for same reason even though I never ordered from them before. Everyone loves a good deal but I feel like these apps make people purchase more than they need just because of the discount. Which in turn means more junk in the trash landfill and thrift stores.

i just wanted to let you know this video made a huge impact on my evening! i’ve been struggling with cleaning for years (it’s hard for me to part with anything out of fear i’ll miss it.) but when you said “when we have too much stuff to manage, we have too much stuff!” it really sunk in. you motivated me to deep clean and donate so many clothes/items i have no use for. thank you!

When you were asking the boys, yes,no,maybe 🤗I heard a yes please and my heart melted, I don’t have kids but I love yours. Little Emma helping with the draws in the boys room made me smile so much , she is a darling. I try to de-clutter when I Spring clean and Fall clean. We have been working in closets this week. Lynn, I do the sniff test too in my boy's rooms, you never know if its clean or dirty!!! lol You are such an inspiration to all of us and if no one has told YOU today YOU are appreciated and loved as well!!!!

Great video! We have dirty laundry bins for each person but only one clean basket so when your load is dry you take it to your room in the basket, dump it on your bed and put the clean basket back on the dryer. Just FYI.

I spent less than $20 on a battery organizer at WM & love it. Double sided, sturdy, plenty of space for loads of batteries and includes a tester!😊

Girl, I am loving all these cleaning and decluttering videos lately! So motivating. I’m like you with my girls that I’ve had to learn that they’re not making a mess or destroying my organization of their stuff on purpose. I have one girl who is very creative and messy and another who is very neat and tidy. It’s difficult to navigate their differences sometimes but we’re all doing our best ❤

I have really enjoyed these last 3 videos of yours. I found them to be very inspiring. I am facing a lot of clutter in my home right now and your tips really resonated with me. I have been watching your channel for a few years now. I have to say that watching you go through this recent move has been a very good learning experience for us all. Seeing a mom sacrifice her wants for the good of her family is a good reminder to us all what motherhood is all about. Not that our wants and needs are not important but sometimes you just have to put your family first. In one of the videos I remember you saying that it has really turned out for the best and you have come to really love this house or words to that effect proves that home is where the heart is and a house is just a house. I just wanted to say you are absolutely one of my favorite people on youtube❤ I've been here at your channel for awhile and I can say you give great advice on cleaning, organizing, and just life skills and things you've learned in general. I have so much in common with you from family dynamics (older kids at a young age, to our younger kids at an older age to depression and so on) and the way you and I think is so similar. Honestly, I'm decluttering little bits all the time. This past weekend I went through the top of my closet and my corner cabinet again. Today I went through my tea area and 1 cabinet drawer. Don't think you need to do a ton of decluttering at one time to make it worth it. 🙂

Your fitted sheet folding is epic. I thought I was the only one who wrassles and tussles my way through it. It works for me which is all that matters. I also like your six month limit on seeing if you will use something. It is so easy to end up with tons of things saved for just-in-case that I never end up using. Love your channel!

We declutter based on the things that we are no longer using and is just taking up space. For clothes we declutter them as we grow out of them 😊 I am always decluttering so I never have a massive amount to do at once but my son and husband have way too much and they don’t want to let go so when the house gets too “messy” I always facilitate how they should go about parting with their items and when they see that I don’t have things I need to get rid of that motivate them to declutter on their own. It’s a win win since they hate to clean and do laundry and I’m no longer picking up after them.

I love the rapid fire method. It helps them learn to process quickly... over time, and make decisions that maybe would have been procrastinated. You teaching them to think for themselves is a valuable tool they will carry in every area of their lives. ❤😊

Thanks for decluttering encouragement! Just a little safety suggestion--the large TV screen should be anchored somehow because small children can pull/knock them over and have them fall on them. You can toggle it to the wall with anti-tipping straps.

I declutter before school and at the end of January for sure. I also will do it as needed. My daughter had a 3.5” growth spurt this last summer, so we had to do a big declutter of her dresser and closet not to long ago. I also usually do holiday decor as we pull it out for the season. I love when you attack the clutter with a trash bag like that 💪 It's so satisfying to see, I always hope you'll have to do the same in the master bedroom as it's where the clutter is the hardest to toss for me. Magazines/catalogs/nicer clothes store flyers and mostly clothes that can't be sold or donated.

The rectangular 9 volt batteries have the connections in contact with the Size D battery in your case. For safety and the longevity in your batteries I personally would put the 9 volts in a separate compartment. Loved your video!!❤

My daughters are now adults & my boys are teenagers.I can relate about them not cleaning their room lol.I need to declutter.Less stuff less mess♡ you did awesome momma.I declutter in the Spring. But need to do it in the Fall too. I have like 3 junk drawers🤦‍♀️ But I dont have a usable basement or a garage. So I dont have any storage. I raised my 4 kids here as a single mom♡ 4 bdrm 2 bath. When my daughter's moved out I didnt have the heart to get rid of any of their stuff so my bedroom looks like a storage unit. Ive been putting off goibg through it:/ I raised them completely by myself & they are my everything. So when they moved out I had a hard time. It was almost a year after my oldest moved out before I even went into her room to get the stuff out that she left. Its been 5 years now.. I really need to go through everything in my room & start using my space again.

Mostly once a season since my kids are grown. Sometimes I do it as I clean house. I have a corner where I stash decluttered stuff and then I bag it later to get it out of the house. It goes faster for me. 😊👍 Thanks for the great videos. Amanda from NW Indiana

Seems like I’m always decluttering! There’s just the two of us! Don’t know where the stuff comes from? Although we aquired things from our deceased relatives and storing grown kids stuff🙄 STUFF makes me crazy. And second time around I married a man who hates throwing things away. I get rid of a lot when he’s not home😂
