There is NO reason at all for you to feel embarrassed about your home needing cleaned! I appreciate you being real and honest with how your home looks before cleaning. This is real life - this is what real homes look like between cleanings. Thank you for being real! I love your channel for that and many others reasons
@@mrslynnwhiteI love the antebellum sweet, old English beautiful homes too! Also though we forget they had entire staff of people to care for them! We don't 😂 I am the staff.
Cleaning and organizing are endless! I’m amazed how quickly it gets away from me. My bathroom is also an eyesore. So disappointed with the Swan Stone tub/shower. It stained and I can’t get it clean. Just doing my best.
Some of my best days are spent alone cleaning the house from top to bottom. It truly is soul soothing. I’m glad to know someone else is the same. ☺️. Love your videos, cleaning and chatting. ❤
As Moms we often neglect our wants and needs! This is also something I’m learning to work on ❤ Thank you for being YOU and all the motivation and inspiration you bring to this platform!
Lynn, This is real life, love how honest you are!!! I know just by watching you for so long, you love a clean home, but you have a family and kids make messes! These homes on utube that are spotless, fake, not real!!! Love you🥰 Love your videos!!!! Keep being real!!!!!!😍
I have 3 boys, I know how bad their bathroom can get, you don't need to be embarrassed. I had rather watch someone doing "real" cleaning than watching the fake. I love your humbleness, how inspirational you are and how real you are!!!
My parents had 5 boys and 5 girls and I can promise you our bathroom never ever looked like this. I have this policy if one uses the toilet it should be wiped down with disinfectant straight away. It would freak me out if I went away and came home to this mess. I’m sorry if this sounds harsh but God gave us hands to clean up. Cleanness is next to Godliness. Such a shame it’s down to the mothers to clean up all the time. I was helping my mom out at the age of 8 and started to help cook dinner at 11 years old. Yes Lynn has kept it real but in my opinion older children can clean their own toilet and bedrooms. We did in the 60’s 70’s and 80’s. Then I left home and kept a show house cleaning everyday just maintenance and people could turn up unexpectedly and I worked full time.
@@rachelhele7827 I don't pass judgment on anyone. We don't know what anyone faces in their day, anxiety, depression or whatever. My children were asked to do chores but that didn't mean it always got done and a child's clean isn't always like a Mama's clean.
@@franceskey79 It wasn’t cleaned thats the point. I cleaned up just like my mother did as did my siblings. When my mother was in hospital my younger brother and I cooked and cleaned the house ourselves. My parents were so impressed with us. We looked after our siblings and everyone got to school on time and we visited our mother in hospital we showered daily. When our mother came home she didn’t have to do anything we looked after her as our father worked full time. 18 year old son could clean up after himself and his younger brother.
Just looking at your videos you can tell that bathroom has been used and he tried to cover up issues. It is so frustrating and sad when people do that stuff. Never feel embarrassed about your house. Your channel is one of my favorites because you are real and transparent!!
I completely understand what you were saying. That is exactly how I am. Cleaning relaxes me and I do it better when I have time to myself to do it because I always feel like I'm neglecting someone if they're just sitting there while I'm cleaning. I feel obligated to tend to them just like you said. Thank you for sharing that. Now I know I'm not the only one.
Real life is messy. That's my motto. I'm sticking to it. Its ok to have a messy house its kids and life. Deep breathe everything will work out. Give yourself grace not every one wants to share their spaces.. Glad you do and you have great leads for organizing and storage solutions thank you
Real and raw is why I love your channel the most! Never ever feel embarrassed we are real humans and don't live in a home and garden magazine! You're the best keep being you! ❤
You are inspiring. I’m a cleaner. My happy place is cleaning. I’m one that if someone stops by and I just ate the dish was in the sink. I’m so embarrassed. I think I’m supposed to have it perfect. I’m learning through you it is okay to have something out and not be upset. Thank you so much. 💚💚💚💚💚💚
@@mrslynnwhite yes ma'am. I got a few notifications a day for several days either last week or the week before and I was like wow, she's really drilling them out. Spring clean ups, organizing etc, and I finally got the time to go check one out and they're all from 2019-2020-2022 etc. I was like ... I'm guessing she edited all of them and sent them back out for a second round on the algo or something. Very odd but I remember watching them then. They're in her old house before this big one in Georgia. When she first got the big blue sofa. I remember these videos from back in the day, but in the description it says 2019,2020 etc.
I have similar feelings about things like you. I am a people pleaser and I love a clean house, however I live with messy people who care little about a clean house. Sometimes I feel disrespected so thanks for saying to speak up and to tell people what you need. That was very helpful ❤😀👍great video!
That mold armor is awesome stuff!!!! As always Lynn, your video's are so inspiring and extremely motivating. We are very thankful to have you in our lives. Love to u my long distance friend ❤❤❤
Hey Lynn I watching your videos and the honesty of that bathroom clean as a mom of 2 boys it is spot on😂 no worries it's all good at least I know I'm not alone😂😂❤❤
My mom’s house is French country! Absolutely beautiful. You and I are a lot alike. We have the same feelings. I am trying to be better at always saying “I’m sorry” and for saying yes to everything! No need to be embarrassed about things happening in your home! I use to feel that way. We all love you girl. Take care ❤❤❤
All that cracking you are talkin about sounds like a foundation problem to me and not a leaking ceiling problem. Thank you for another video. God loves you and your family. Jesus loves you all and died for you all. God bless you all always.
Hello lovely sweet lady, I look forward to your videos, love listening to you give us a little pep talk they always hit the spot with me. Sending you lots of good wishes and love always.
I think so too. It's funny how I was going so opposite at the last house, but with this home I feel like I am really getting in touch with what I really love.
I don’t know if they use those toothbrushes in the shower, but I would probably replace those since the chemicals were sprayed so close to them. I usually move the toothbrushes far away when I am cleaning because the sprays go through the air.
Hi Lynn good to see you again, don't stress yourself when you saw the bathroom Messy you should of went & got the boys and make them Clean they are old Enough if you don't make the clean they will Never Learn, just a Suggestion 💙
I am going to be giving my parent's bathroom 🚻 a deep cleaning soon. Their bathroom is in rough shape 😳 This video gave me inspiration to start. Thanks! ❤
Hi. Nice to see again. I understand hundred percent what you mean with the alone time. I am the same and yes even if it is cleaning. Just for half a day it stay the way you do it😂
Hey Lynn and y'all! Having a great day today, doing some cleaning in my bedroom and I wanted to let y'all know about something that is working for me. I decided to try the Power Ersse gell from Scrub Daddy because it says it works on fabric for spot. So I wet a sponge and apply the gel and just let it set for a couple minutes then take a clean damp cloth and just rub the stains out. If it is something textured like a fluffy balnket or velvet drapes, alsonuse a clean dry cloth and rub the texture the wrong way until nealry all the moisture is gone then just smooth it down.
The sealant in the shower is moulding because it's not the right stuff as you said if it's just decorating filler no use. It needs to be non moulding sealant. I really hope the damage underneath the shower isn't really bad. I think a wee check on the clean when the boys has done it, to make sure it's been done correctly😊 looks fantastic now 😀 👌
Unless you just finished cleaning, I bet any ones house is messy. My house needs cleaning right now, yeah my house is a complete disaster. I need to follow your lead and not worry about my house being so clean when people come to my house, ( when i say people it can be a family member.) "yup, sorry my house is lived in". New motto... "we dont make messes, we make memories".
Hi Lynn can i make a suggestion use white vinegar on mold as it prevents it from coming back it kill the thing in mold❤love watching your vlog keep up the great ❤🎉
Lol....I've had animals do yucky things on a bed before, but we never had money to replace a mattress (this was in childhood). Nothing could escape my mother's cleaning abilities though. She cleaned the bedclothes and mattress within an inch of their lives and we moved on. I'm 47 years old and bought my first mattress as an adult in 2022.
It was all done kind of quickly. We knew we needed to redo all of those spaces, but little by little. The kitchen was supposed to go much slower but we ended up just doing it. Mainly because the last one has zero storage. Literally none. It was hard to work in there. The stairs were done as a part of the boys room because the rails on the back wall and rail had/has to be replaced when we all the wall (its all connected).
Question: You mentioned that the previous owner was an elderly man...is it possible he may be suffering from early dementia and that is why he forgot about the leak and damage? I had a close family member who had dementia and when I hear about people (especially the elderly) forget things and have a change in personality I often think of possible dementia. Not saying this is the case with your situation, but when you mentioned the denial of using the bathroom when you stated it had clearly been used before your family moved in...I wondered...dementia? You know the situation and have dealt with this man so you obviously know more than me, but it is something to keep in mind. I guess since I have had personal experience dealing with someone with dementia...it always comes to my mind when dealing with confused and forgetful people (especially older people). In any event I just wanted you to know that I am a newer subscriber and I really enjoy your content. Have a blessed day!
He was older, but probably not elderly. I misspoke on that one. He was in absolute e sound mind every time we spent time together. However, he was a busy man. :) I have no ill-will. We just want to know fully what we are dealing with. :(
Yes, the boys' bathroom has got to go. The mold definitely needs to be checked if the family has respiratory issues. Your asthma does not need to be affected. Friend, this can become serious if not dealt within a timely manner. On a positive note, it is very motivating! You always give a good pep talk in the midst of things. I gagged when mentioning the cat.🤮 Mothers even clean the dirtiest things! Have a wonderful week. See you in your next video.❤
Cats don’t usually pee or poop outside their litter box unless it is too full (one box with 2 cats might not be enough) OR….they are getting sick!! The 1st issue you just have to learn your cats…but get them checked out in case they are sick…. I speak from many years of raising varied fur babies!!
How old is Emma now? I have been watching you ever since you were pregnant with Emma so I'm trying to figure out how long I have been watching you. Not really important. Just a thought
