Simple fact that, at the end of the fight, Margaret is just happy that someone was able to listen to one of her songs and remember it gets me every time. And Travis whistling it as he leaves shows that under the wise-ass bravado, he does have the capacity to be kind and considerate, especially to someone who gave him a great fight.

This is one of the most unique video game songs I have ever heard. It's a song about taunting Travis Touchdown's actions in participating in the UAA, calling him a hypocrite, saying that he thinks he's a hero but looking back on what he's done (killing assassins, motivated by revenge, lust for sex), he's become anything BUT a hero. Man, if Travis heard this song as he fought Margaret, he would be utterly pissed.

This song is basically The reason you suck speech to Travis. Calling him a hypocrite about revenge that pursuing revenge makes him noble, that he is not a real hero for pursuing it, and his anger doesn't make him a good man. A tiger in disguise refernce to his darkside power but calls him a Pussy (cat). Also a swipe at him being a weeboo, lolicon otaku She even devotes a line to make a dig at Travis' otaku perversions. Philistine means one who does not pursue intellectual needs. This is geared at how Travis only wants to see people die and not consider that they are also people.

I'm not sure why exactly, but the way the lyrics are sung, how it feels like they shouldn't work but they do anyway always gives me shivers, even when I imagine the song in my head.

Gotta be the only person on Earth who prefers this version, don't get me wrong the instrumentation on the JP version is superior, but the sheer levels of autotune really lose the melody in parts I feel, and the main draw to the song is its catchiness, which is conveyed better with the clearer vocals in this version. They're both really good though, whenever there's two versions of something people tend to over-accentuate how 'awful' the other version is. Got no clue what people mean by 'off tune' or 'off key', like if she is actually singing off-key, the dissonance is working REALLY well for her cause this sounds phenomenal.

Holy crap it really was Tara Strong that voiced her!

Most comments are just fawning over Travis Touchdown (that last name still sounds ridiculous), but instead of talking about him, I want to write a comment about the singer, Nadia Gifford. I find it very depressing that she's not more popular over here, and most of her music is exclusive to Japan. She did an amazing job singing the songs for Coriander "Connie" from Steambot Chronicles, and then on here singing this song for Margaret. She seriously needs more Western exposure, because she's got a damn good English singing voice. Like Nadia Gifford, her English is so good you could barely tell she's Japanese. That said, English or not, I just want more of her music because she has a great voice and huge talent.

Years later and i still appreciate that this song is just a giant diss track about travis.

Wow it really does sound like and...glad I read the lyrics while listening to the first loop.

I saw the rank four boss and didn't get why people liked her so much. She literally has two lines and they both just talk about her lil' song. But I think this song does the best at characterizing Margaret. It reminds me of Metal Gear Rising, where the songs for the characters do a great job of filling in the blanks of a character's personality. Dope ass song.
