Why is it that we have to play as Shinobu for two levels with some of the most awkward platforming ever, when we get to fight as the great Mr. Sir Henry Motherfucker for only about 5 minutes?
Because you take too long to do anything. While Travis is staring down the boss preparing to fight Henry already fell from the sky killing the target in one blow
I don't know if anybody ever realizes, but the psycotic girl you fight in the endless dandilion feild when this song plays is actually one of travis's favorite anime charactacers
Say what you will about NMH2 but one thing we can all sure agree on is that it has an amazing, diverse, and crazy soundtrack that matches the insanity that happens throughout the game.
It took me a while to figure this out, but I think I finally understand the meaning of this song's name. When we were children, we used to play cowboy's and indians. All these years later, here we are, fighting again. But this time we're not playing. We finally ARE cowboys.
I swear. This has to have been composed by a different person than some of the other boss themes. It's got such a different feeling to it. I wish we got to play as Henry some more than just one boss. Oh welllll
@@korben51 Especially since in Five, Personas are created from the Collective Conscious. Mimmy is like a mishmash of anime and moe tropes, i.e the school swimsuit.
Probably two wooden sticks clacking together or various banging noises with those items edited together and duplicated with one pitched down/up to create a backing.
Remember: Akira Yamaoka was the co-composer for this game, the same guy who sped up and reversed the sound of a dentist's drill to use as an instrument in Silent Hill. So it could be literally anything making that sound.
@@smward87 Yamaoka didn't compose the original track or this remix though. Masafumi Takada did We Are Finally Cowboys and Hondalady sampled the clicking from the OG in this remix. Both tracks actually came out before Yamaoka left Konami for Grasshopper actually
"Stand back, everyone I've been saving an offensive spell for cases like this one... OMEGA... ANNIHILATION! Oh carp that was the healing spell. Uhhhh anyone got anymore TP on them?"
@@hansraute3587 The same as the two posted before mine going by Newest First. If that doesn't narrow it down... A mod for a completely different game lol ... If that doesn't narrow it down, have you ever heard of Deltarune?
yeah... I hope NMH 3 is based entirely on henry set ten years before as he marries Silvia/takes over the British UAA. This time maybe 50 actual assassin battles AND 52 assassins.
all I want is the ability to have the choice between Travis, Henry, and Shinobu... also, I think it'd be interesting if there is a level while you're climbing up the ranks where the person who is 1 rank below you challenges you, and then you continue your assent.
Blackwing97 There's files and such in the game that suggest Henry was to have his own story, so you could of picked either him or Travis, nothing suggests why that idea was scrapped, probably time constraints.
The Final Gallifreyan i heard there was actually a mod that you can import using an external sd card that allowas you to choose between characters in the death match mode. although some bosses become impossible like the million gunman boss can only be beaten using shinobu. but hey, it's a nice plus anyways.
Shit gets more fucked up when from passing through different assasains as Travis and Shinobu, suddenly, Henry, fighting a goddamn loli, inside his head. Suda you madman.
what more could you want in a game where you fight a loli anime chick as the protagonists brother in a beautiful field of flowers with a spiffy ass suit, bad haircut, and a lightsaber.
I see this mental image in my mind. An intense alarm went of in an highly secured facility and now you got to massacre your way out with nothing more then your determination and your ((beam)katana) sword.
This is in NMH1 suprisingly, you can hear it in the background while Sylvia calls you from a music festival. Henry's immediate appearance afterwards makes me think is this some next level SUDA51 mindgame that has been hidden in plain sight. (Or maybe there was just copyrighted music there before and they changed it for the switch version)
Yeah, they just couldn't get some song called Heavenly Star by Genki Rockets back for the re-releases, so they substituted with their own music. Curse music licensing!
To me, the clicking in the background somewhat matches the guitars in the original. I could be completely off on that, but that's what my ears are picking up.
It's kinda like a techno version of it, if you listen closely you can hear that it's got a similar beat to it as well as having close to the same timing as the original, but in its own weird way. It's a cool weird though, this version of the song is nice as well.
ive seen them but never really thought why they where there. but knowing suda is probably something very clever like what you guys have mentioned or something else where we might be completely far off lol
'Moe' strings from the Japanese verb 'moeru' - 'to bud'. When used as an otaku colloquialism it refers to cute, attractive female characters, generally with large eyes and disproportionate bodies.
true his story may be over, but it doesn't mean he won't make an appearance in the next one, who knows he may be the badass mentor or even the final boss
@@ashyoshicharizard3949 To Be honest yes. Too bad most of the bosses are forgettable/themes don't suit them. Skelter Helter still got the best non lyrical boss theme
@OmegaDragon365 Yeah, I still to this day can't hear the original in this. I'm not one able to pick up on the very small details so that might be why, I don't know. It could be the transition from guitar to techno, dunno. If you can, good for you.
