I know we literally met henry last second in no more heroes 1, but damn this is the craziest 180 a character has pulled. I just thought they had "sibling rivalry" cause of travis fucking his wife/embarrassing his family 'name', not a sibling bloodlust o-o;; tf is this game suda???
"Battle is all about rhythm. If you can pick up on certain rules and signs, you can leave your body to the rhythm and simply let yourself dance to it." > Proceeds to play Beat Saber on a trash can.
I love the idea that in NMH1, Henry was a massive badass. The fight in the motel parking lot was a clash for the ages. Both somewhat equally matched, a duel of equal badassery. Now Travis is so strong that the same fight to him is now a pushover.
Silvia enters the same room as Henry at the end. Either she's still in cahoots with him or (more likely) the Silvia we were talking to was Henry all along.
@@Galavantworks Not quite, in the previous gamez Travis Strikes again, he had two men attacked Travis. Both are members of his cult and they doesn't look like Henry. Look it up on RU-vid
"Could you film a Live-Action version of No More Heroes?" I think he's going to need some assistance from an American production. Or at least anyone who worked on Jackass.
Throughout most of this I was both wondering what the fuck they were on about, and giggling at how extra Henry was being. His (no longer Irish) accent, his continuing with the flashback regardless of Travis' consent, the Kabe Don, the named sword and called-out attacks. And of course, the twist was a dumbass acid trip! Truly a laugh-trip but badass all the same!
Iirc Henry's redesign is done by the Silver Case character artist, and no other character in nmh3 is. I'm pretty sure Henry is or did Death-Filing, which... is something that we've seen happen Once with no explanation but does come with a change in appearance and personality and I think most people seem to agree has something to do with being Activated as a Kamui clone. Henry having stock bodies indicates this as well.
I thought that too but I also think he maybe connected to Kun Lan and Emir. The clones in the bathroom all have masks that resemble Heavens Smiles. Specifically, two of them are wearing ones eerily similar to the Protector Z and ZZ smiles. There's also Seven Henrys in the Bathroom. Just like how the Killer7 were actually "seven" different Emirs. Technically, Killer7 had 8 people if they included Harman. However, Travis just killed the 8th one so only seven were present in the Bathroom. Henry also has that third-eye and green glow when he uses his power just like how Emir glows green eyes in the final chapter when using his power and third-eye. Dan Smith also wanted Travis dead during TSA... For some reason. Well my theory is that, just like how Garcian re-awoke his third-eye when finding out the truth at the end, Henry also awakened when he found out the truth. Emir decided to take Harman's power. But I believe Henry may have stumbled upon Kun Lan and copied his powers instead which would explain the cloning and the Heaven Smile masks.
@@TheExcluZ Suda said in an interview that Killer7 is in an alternate timeline, which makes sense given that the internet and Tokyo still exist in nmh. The Dan Smith in tsa isn't an absorbed personality, he just never died (and presumably the same thing is true of the Mask de Smith that sends letters to travis in nmh1). You can kind of tell that a lot of the key concepts in Killer7 were just Silver Case/fsr stuff with the serial numbers filed off so there wouldnt be an issue with capcom when trying to make future ktp games. Garcian's third eye works almost identically to a Silver Eye, Emir looks identically to Step Sding, ELBOW is mentioned. Doesnt mean Kun Lan and Harman don't exist in the mainline timeline, but they're probably a lot more directly conneted with what is already established.
@firelinksunlight9692 concepts used in a game grasshopper did from 1999 that got a sequel exclusively for japanese mobile phones and eventually a remake. Also Moonlight Syndrome ties in to all of this but what even is that????
In my honest opinion I was hoping that Travis would've unlocked his Tsubaki MK 3 up to this fight the only thing lacking I wish was kept in the game especially with how smooth the combat flows
That tattoo in his head also reminds me of Emir/Bloody Heartland's third-eye. Also Emir's eyes glow green once he finds out the truth and look how many people were inside the bathroom to kill Travis.. 7..
So..did Henry become Agent Smith of the No More Heroes universe..cause he sounds awfully like Agent Smith talk. Also did we ever figure out what maybe possessed him to do this..or is it really actually that one movie that changed him into this?
I thought the same thing it's just odd how he changed so much. I'm not saying it's impossible for him to change so much but I still can't believe that this is henry.
Remember in NMH1, Travis' Father continually molested his own daughter Jeanne. The dude was never a saint so him actually trying to kill his children is not out of the question.
The only logical explanation I can think of must be from TSA. Travis used the CIA Death Ball to create another clone, so all this time we´ve been playing as a clone. And just like in TSA, when the clone dies, all the memories and consciousness return to the original body.
@@ShaneDouglas713 No shit Sherlock, That’s why the OP “wish” she could come back. Characters coming back alive in NMH is possible, Look at Bad Girl for example.
Hold on, I think I'm missing some context cause I thought Henry and Travis were cool now or at least not still trying to murder one another. Also, I swear Jeane and Travis never knew each other before the events of NMH1...
