Years ago my alarm clock was a speech from Arnold Schwarzenegger. Honestly, that and a lot of motivational material was a component to me completely changing my life. Over the years, I spent a lot of time immersed in personal development material. I don't need motivational stuff anymore. It's still nice to check out from time to time though. People like it because it gives a temporary dopamine hit to get started. Lasting motivation comes from developing proper habits, systems, intrinsic desire, and understanding the "why" behind what you are doing.
Personally going through this phase right now. A few years ago, these videos helped change my mindset. Nowadays, I'm looking for a new trigger and that comes from within. Barely watch or listen to them as frequently as I used to, but still do every now and then.
@@keritans What I will say is that what you let enter your mind, what you consume on a regular basis, subconsciously becomes a part of you. You will be influenced whether you realize it or not. That's why I believe that every young person coming up should enrich their mind with as much content and positive mantras as possible. Accept what is useful, reject what is useless.
@@ApolloStrengthGarage Oh yeah the subconscious mind is very powerful. The smallest negative thing someone says to themselves, they will subconsciously believe it. I don't watch TV. Haven't watched it for 2 years. I only surround myself with like minded, ambitious people who want more in life. I read and listen to self help books and implement the Miracle Morning philosophies. Right now I'm gaining clarity on what I want since I'm falling for alot of bells and whistles.
I relate with this. There was an Arnold Schwarzenegger speech/video that I started listening to when I worked at a warehouse. I talked my way into a part time position doing paperwork. I would listen to Arnold, Grant Cardone, Eric Thomas and video about Michael Jordan. Then I graduated the the biographies of MJ and Arnold and the 10XRule by Grant Cardone. One of the biggest pieces of advice that has stuck with me from Arnold is "Little victories" he spoke of winning his first little trophy for the clean and jerk. Then he kept earning trophy after trophy. He is so focused on his goals. This was probably 5-6 years ago, but I will always keep those lessons with me. That speech is free to listen to folks. Listen to it once a day, 12 times a day, whatever it takes to make a part of your life. Now I am a real estate agent and own two rental properties. I worked my way up from beating up my body lifting heavy plumbing materials. Keep feeding your mind and soul with positive messages. I am proof that you can grow up in poverty and grind your way out of it. I am nowhere near accomplishing my goals, but I am a lot closer than I was 6 years ago. Also fun fact: Mr. Schwarzenegger started building wealth from real estate, the fame and fortune from HOLLYWOOD came later.
@@aqwsderxz ...there's NO Right and Left, there's ONLY Right and Wrong....(it may take a lifetime to really understand that...and many die without)...Cheers!
I listen to the same 3 motivational videos on a playlist every morning (26 mins long). It gets me fired up for the day and reaches my subconscious mind. Works for me
Another very powerful message PBD. I've always remembered this powerful quote by the late Jim Rohn when I heard it years ago. Rohn said: "The best motivation is self-motivation. The guy says, ‘I wish someone would come by and turn me on.’ What if they don’t show up? You’ve got to have a better plan for your life.” I've never forgotten that statement. You reiterated it very well for your community today. Thank you!!!
To Self: The best discipline to have is Self Discipline. I learned that from Discipline = Freedom Field Manual. Life can be tough sometimes especially when you are not performing as well as you have in the past. Motivate yourself to get back at it whatever it is and move forward. Momentum needs to be built up. Get going. Sincerely: Self
Have you thought of earning directly to your private wallet without sending funds to anyone, all you need is your PC or Phone. Grab this hot opportunity and thank me later
I worked in London in the past for an old-school sales-person - I learned a lot, but I also have seen what not to do. During my time I learned that there is a 1. smart aggressive and 2. weird aggressive way how you can present yourself and how to motivate yourself & others. If you just come to the office and say F* and F* and want to punch something than in my experience that leads too often with too many people to steam building up and exploding and then you often end up disintegrating your work. There is the element of how you channel energy for it to be a motivation as opposed to being angry and some people have a problem with that. Regardless if channeled towards yourself or others. Myself I often fall down the rabbit hole of channeling energy in a wrong way - mental hygiene is important.
*clicks on your profile* Looking at your channel's newest video "How to invest in the stock market for beginners!" but... I thought motivation was for amatuers yet you are the one making videos for amatuers. Hypocrite
@@SavantAudiosurf What a logic... :D Please give some effort to your lil' brain and make difference between "dreaming to make millions in the stock market" and actually investing even $100 in it, everyone starts from somewhere. Being beginner is much different from being "a dreamer". The beginner made the first step and the dreamer still dreams of making it.
@@SY-sp8uo how classy, Ms. Classy, saying I have "lil' brain and make difference" sounds like you have a little brain for not knowing how to form a sentence.
@@SY-sp8uo you know what's a waste of time? Your youtube videos. I tried watching one about "how to make it in the stock market" and all you did was brag about how rich Jeff Bezos is for 5 minutes without giving any advice at all. You literally said nothing for 5 minutes straight. Talk about waste of time.
Give a man a fish, he'll be able to eat for a day, but he might ask you for a fish the next day. Teach a man how to fish, he won't need to ask you for fish any longer.
But then you can't be a government handing out licenses because as we all know, licenses came from God and there were no licenses before that and no one knew how to do anything, amen - Saxes 24:7
I had a similar situation with my employees.... they would always want me to check their work to make sure there were no mistakes. I would tell them “if I have to always check your work then why would I need you”? I’d tell them, “I might as well do it myself”. They would make fewer mistakes if I made them responsible for their work. Don’t be lazy in learning.
I love you pat, I just turned 23 and have been watching for the past couple months all of your generational wealth videos and next steps for young entrepreneurs have provided me with a lot of great information. I specifically like this one cause I am definitely self motivated but find myself watching certain videos or hearing others motivation yet it’s time to fully believe in myself. Thank you for all this content I just moved out to my first apartment too in California so I’m looking for the best ways to improve my current situation ASAP
I don't watch Valuetainment for motivation. I have high motivation and great work ethic. I come here to help put my motivation and desire to become successful into action. A sense of direction if you will. I come here because all my peers are allergic to success. I get called crazy for being the way I am. My mentality is so different than others that I come back here to remind myself that it's ok to have mindset and there is nothing wrong with me. Listening to PBD is far better than taking any advice from your loser "friends". Motivation from these videos is a byproduct. Keep up the great work PBD. You continue to remind me that it's ok to think differently than the average Joe.
i don't understand people who leave all of these opportunities on the table. we're incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by opportunity. thank you PBD for instructing how to leverage them.
Hands down this is the best video on your channel. This video right here is the cornerstone for every successful person. What happens when your luck runs out and you find yourself in a rut? Self Motivation. Honestly, I needed this. Thank you so much for just giving a simple yet powerful message. I'm so done with all these other online gurus and self-help nerds on youtube
Before lifting heavy in the gym, I remind myself about the ongoing war and tell myself the enemy is coming to kill me so I need to get strong so I’m not easy to kill. Works every time.
same with me, a few days ago, I and my friend was working on a project, but every time something goes wrong I need to motivate him all the time and at last, I said look you are a man and you gotta be tough as nails and you need to be self-motivated and after that, he said to me that I always discourage people and he left the project, should I encourage him again to work on the project and should I influence him and motivate him or I should leave him
l remember reading Ray Kroc book and he said "the picture of what this company could be at the end, is what kept us motivated everyday when we started"
Thanks Shatara for sharing this today! I don’t ever seek more motivation or validation but this message is still relative because I’m an “infant” in the business and I don’t want to feel “needy” so my takeaway is to GO DO WHATEVER I CAN TO GET CLEAR about my VISION and to GET TO THE BUSINESS! No days off! Get PISSED OFF AND GET MOTIVATED!
No more videos for the people that fucked up their lives with mental problems, ptsd, anxiety and AvPD etc etc that follows you. YOU ARE RIGHT, we are sick fucked, we need help. We feel life very different than the rest. Empathy is my last straw in society I have💫
I used to be that person that was constantly being a BMW. Bitching. Moaning. Whining. Then I decided to look deeper. I realized, motivational videos were keeping me, just like everyone else motivated for a limited time. In fact, most of them keep you motivated for their duration + and extra 3 seconds before the next cat video pops up in the feed. Then something magic happened. I produced results. Those results made me ask the question, "Am I able to 2x that?" So I went out there and I found an answer to the question. And believe me, during the process to get the answer I needed no motivation. I was focused on getting my answer. Eventually, motivation must become passion and passion must become an obsession. That is when things just move and move and move.
I agree that problem is we spend too much time watching youtube videos for complex and deep answers when to me it is simple, find your passion and go for it. Mistakes will be made but if you love it enough you will grind until you get there.
Motivational videos are only meant to a temporary seed to discovering your OWN motivation within your career and life. Once discovered, watching content like this on RU-vid is mainly a top-up and not an addiction Very well put Patrick!🙌🏽😎
Your knowledge and guidance is motivation enough, u made videos on it, and if i need motivation all i need to do is to go back and click replay. And the real purpose isn't for motivation its for a reminder.... to check whether or not i got that right or maybe i might have missed something.... i cant remember everything.
And this is an excellent example of what is wrong with our high schools and colleges and why our kids are failing. They would rather stay in school and be coddled vs going out into the scary world. They want to show up to a place each day that is filled with people motivating them vs being self motivated. Our schools should be motivating them and them teaching them how to maintain that motivation on their own. Baby Eagles always get kicked out of the nest after training
The last video that I watched, answered a lot of questions for me as to why I am being hesitant i. It was because I have not asked the right questions . About the company that I want to work for. Thank you for your guidance
TRUE i wasnt aware of it Few years ago I was overweight. I picked up the habit of exercising just 5 mins a day. I wont think about it. I wont measure my weight. Its a part of me. THIS MADE MAGIC Overtime I got fit. BONUS: My insecurities are gone. I feel WAY BETTER. I believe in myself. It shows I can do somethin
Motivation needs fuel called Desire & Outcomes to reach for. Mentorship from the right person can be JET FUEL! PBD brought the energy but I know from a friend that PBD changed his whole life with his mentorship not motivation. GREAT MESSAGE PBD 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love The way you direct to next videos then you keep me jumping from your video to the next P.B.D all of them great videos ,…. Thank you for the value you provide and I promise you am going to be the Biggest RU-vidr in Africa with 20 channels in coming 5 years and I will come back to this video #Robel
If you want to be motivated you got to know your vision and have a passion and that's the end of it. You got to want something and not forget it. If you're not motivated you don't want it bad enough. 😉💪🙏
The difference between Patrick and this unmotivated person is this: Patrick found and is doing his Vocation, while the unmotivated person is merely doing his/her Occupation. Find your Vocation in life and you'll enjoy what you do!!!
hahaha, great video ... Motivate yourself in any way possible every minute if you have to, especially in today's world of constant distraction... It's important what you watch, say to yourself, read, eat, do ... When you see effects it's scary ... Doing right and wrong ...
@ 4:11 I figured that out within a couple of videos. YOUR HONESTY IS PURE GOLD...... Can't wait for you to run for President, once we change the laws a bit.
