I've said it before lol but I gotta say it again....the music you be Playing be lit! Even my 6 yr old daughter was like "mom, what song you listening to?" My RU-vid friend Janae got a nice playlist, huh? 😂
That's a good thing , I have been natural for 5 years now. This young lady has hair like mine, when I wash it,it shrinks a whole lot.Love the finish result. Make me want to get a silk press on my hair
black women really really do not need weaves ,, let’s just focus on our natural hair!! it looks better feels better and everything else!! love this beautiful style ❤️
Black women can do whatever they want with their hair! Wigs, weaves, braids, etc. Some women like to switch it up. Weaves, wigs & braids can be used to protect our natural hair underneath. We don’t have to wear our natural hair all the time. Doesn’t mean we don’t love & take care of it.
When you feel down and want to watch Janay videos because she be hooking people hair up, but this is where it’s at and very satisfying to enjoy when she uploads☺️❤️
Janae, that's it! I'm getting my cards and coins together to come to the East Coast to get my silk press done😆. Her hair looks amazing. I really enjoy watching your videos 😃😊💇💇
Smart idea for the health of your hair and scalp. Release the sew-ins and enjoy the multi-faceted hair that grows from your scalp. Why grow hair to keep it under someone else's hair.
Shelly Whitaker amen I started my healthy journey this January no more quick weaves sew ins I stop wearing braids year ago tore all my hair out my scalp had sores I wanted to Sue the stylist but I learned a valuable lesson ,plus I enjoy caring for my own hair great feeling so take care the hair God gave us 🙏🏿🙏🏿♥️👌🏾
If done right, sew ins grow your hair and protect your hair. Most people who wear them all the time, have long hair underneath due to the hair not being combed in daily
Slay per usual. But I had sew ins all 2019 and had one silk press in December and my hair growth was amazing. Just depends on who does it and how you take care of it.
Heat is ok on your hair as long as it is protected.FYI perm doesn't cause hair loss either. It need only be applied and rinsed by a professional. Often imitated but never duplicated ---Very few come close to a licensed hairdresser/cosmetologist.
Congrats on her healthy hair journey, I wish her the best. I am loving that music too, Janay you did it as usual and love the braids ❤ Doing natural hair has come a long way, we just used hot combs and marcel iron on the stove back in the day. Flatirons are ssssoooooo much easier.
That chick Ms.Monica read my mind..if I had the money I would fly in ride in train in and you would do my hair the way you want to cause I definitely have seen enough to trust your skills wholeheartly..you are a blessing..Happy Valentine's Ms.Janay❤
I think it's beautiful what you do your job. Here in Brazil you don't have many experienced hairdressers to straighten with the flat iron like you do. The hair looks beautiful with low root shine, that's why in Brazil you cut a lot of chemicals and break the hair hair like the one in the video is the same as mine. I loved your channel
I LUV that she & Eden aren't SCISSOR CRAZY! They are talented stylist who clip what's needed and keep it moving. Others cut til you're bald then glue some weave on to fix it.
Wow, some thing is very mesmerizing in this video! !! I watches 3 times! you are the deal! You ars a very bad ass !! Can't believe how you transfer her hair like that !! Lord!!
Parabens.
How long does this silk press last?? Since she's natural, how do you keep this silk press looking straight due to humidity, sweat, etc???? If you get my drift!!!???
Mine only last 14 days max, & that's if I'm not doing any strenuous activities like excersise, cleaning my house, washing my dog. I sweat in my head so I only get a silk press in the winter. 😠
Question: what if a person has hot flashes and all that straight hair turns back into a afro every time she sweats??? Or a hot shower, bath or rain???✌️
@@JanayMickles are you saying that the best thing for this person is having a permanent? If not what are the creams or oils that she could use to keep her hair straight under stressful conditions?
Rebecca Allen yes if she wants to have straight hair without it reverting back easily a relaxer would be good for her. There are no creams or oils that keep your hair straight if humidity hits it in my opinion. Everyone is different, some people can still workout and only their roots will revert back and others the whole thing may.
Good Morning, Ms. Janay Mickles, How are you and your family doing Pray that all is well with you and your family. Another awesome work doing again. Your client's hair is beautiful and healthy and it can out bouncy. She look so happy and excited.too. Until the next one. Be Blessed and Encouraged and Stay Calm and Cool and Stree Free. Have a blessed work week and weekend.too.🤩🎆🎇🎊💗👍🌹🙏😘💐🎉👋🎊😍😀.
I grew up on pressed hair (having a beautician mom) which kept turning back natural under presperation, swimming, etc... Pressed hair also prevented ANY possible infestations. But how healthy is all that heat on a regular basis? I then turned to chemically permed hair for years, which also isn't good for Black hair... Now I wear cultural Dred-locks. Which I can wash (as often as I like) with a nice scented shampoo, and is virtually care free. I only twist my new growth whenever needed. But my hair is longer than it has ever been in my life, and is versatile to style. Black women, consider using the NATURAL hair God blessed you with!
