@@zain4019 Lemme just... correct it. *Good music* is what makes everything better. If it's happy music on something that the emotion it's trying to portray is sad, then it won't fit. It's better to put no music at all than to put terrible music that doesn't fit in what you're trying to make. I mean, you're right about how watching the movie without it soundtrack sucks, but that's just because the music was made for the movie, or was at least fits in it. I mean, would you really watch Titanic with the Duck Song playing as loud as how the actors speak, or watch it without any music?

This is exactly how we make oat horchata in Mexico, but we add cinnamon in the blender as well to give it more flavor. You can also add cane sugar if you want to. It tastes really good. It's one of my faves.

Makeme Asandwich please do some research on the supposed nutritional value of cows milk. I used to think calcium was one virtue, but it’s a lie pedalled by the dairy industry and the opposite is true. So anybody drinking cows milk thinking they will be helping make strong bones are deluding themselves. I should declare I’m vegan so also have issues with dairy farming, killing males calves as they have no use for them. The reality of mass milk production isn’t as we might imagjne.

Makeme Asandwich Cow milk is horrendous to make. Read a little about it. The way the mothers have their calves taken away from them, usually right after birth, then they spend years being milked 4 times a day, then are killed and eaten for their meat. The female claves take their place and the male claves are killed after birth. The naming of oat milk is cruelty-free by comparison.

Guys, one thing I will recommend. Do not squeeze the bag so hard. Do it slowly and gradual pressure as it empty's. You will thank me for not having to replaced your milk bag every 2 months.

I like the quiet approach. I've made oat milk many times. I hardly drink it though, it makes a great bath addition for itchy skin. The strained flour or oat bran makes a good porridge or can be used to make muffins.

RU-vid User “It is a good choice for making cookies and quick breads for this reason. In your cookie and bread recipes, replace up to 1/4 cup of the wheat flour with oat flour. In recipes other than breads and cookies, you can substitute 1 1/2 cups oat flour for one cup of wheat flour.” Muffins are quick breads so you can use up to 1/4 a cup, but if you’re having issues with rising you can use 2 1/2 tsp of baking powder for every cup of oat flour. Really I just summarized an article from livestrong.com so you may find more info there.

"Uh, being vegan is fucking expensive" This oat milk is realy cheap, handy and quick. I find these one very useful, and way less expensive than other plant milks, and the taste is realy good, the only problem I find is durability, but blend oats and water takes less than 4 minutes.

we make ours almost the same. we add honey to it and we do not separate the oats from the milk after the ingredients are blended.

I am going to assume you have a VitaMix or top quality blender like that. Most other blenders will make it clumpy (as Cheeky Shit said) or chalky. My VitaMix pulverizes the tarnation out of the Oats and virtually nothing is left in the bag so I don't even use it most of the time. I get just about 100 percent yield.

Making oat milk is a skill, it's easy to learn but hard to master I've been drinking oat milk for 50 years now from all around the world right from 1$ oat milk to 1000$ oat milk you can clearly see and taste the effort passion hard work and dedication chefs put in to make the expensive oat milk, it's magnificent

I love the simplicity and idea of this recipe, this is a wonderfully made video! BUT 2-4 days is ridiculous (I know that's not in your jurisdiction), just thinking here that rice milk might be a little more practical as I can make a bunch, store it and drink it for 2 weeks. I actually clicked on this because I was scrolling through videos on the right-hand side of the screen and I thought 'Yes!! No music!!' because I don't understand why 99% of people who make a how-to video think that not only does it have to have accompanying instrumental music, but *S**tty* music, so I applaud you for making this video without it. I watched some oat milk or other vegan clip yesterday where the music was so bad that by the end of the clip I thought it could be used in some kind of torture sequence (not that I condone that kind of thing).

mmm I love oat milk. never soak your oats or it will be slimy and bad texture. I like just how the texture is of oat milk. It is slimy compared to other milks, but it is good for you, and its a natural thickener, and when it is heated it turns into a custard making it ideal for making Dairy free yogurts with, as it will already be very thick. How thick it turns out to be depends on your water to oat ratio. I usually use only two handfuls of oats. I never use a whole cup. It is too much waste. I blend it for 1 minute and there is barely anything to strain out. If you blended that for longer you would not have all that pulp. Try it sometime.
