That is about how I felt. Though I do find it odd that they decided to rerun it currently for a framer kit only and didn't just wait until then.

So they prefer to make the event pointless for the large majority of players instead of adding 2 weapons per? Literally zero point for me to do this event. It’s a waste of time. Square needs to stop reruns or add big new things for new player. Shame on square.

Yeah they will not be rerunning it in DT, this will be it for probably the next 4 years or so til they rerun again

That’s more than likely correct, at least plan wise, cause this is the fourth run and the stormblood version didn’t include the red mage and samurai, so the event has a pattern it appears. Happy seems to have forgotten this part, but it has been a long road.

BLU is only restricted by level when it comes to duties. For open world spells, you can learn everything at level 1. Some good spells to have at BLU 50 are the ARR primal spells (Eruption/Feather Rain, Mountain Buster/Shock Strike, Glass Dance, Veil of the Whorl) as well as Song of Torment. Ram's Voice + Ultravibration from Kongomato in Stormblood is an instakill against most trash mobs. Things like Aetherial Spark are also good for AoE DoTs. If you grind to a higher level, Magic Breath is also very good. Black/White Knight Tour is a good combo as well for AoE damage. EDIT: Choco Meteor is also one of the best AoE spells in open world content. 300 potency if you have your chocobo out, 50% damage to any enemies near the target. You can get it from the red chocobo in Dravanian Forelands.

Ram's voice and ultraviberation are definitely a must to instakill packs. Other than that, pick some of your favorite aoe skills to burst down things until ultraviberation is back up

Ultravibration is definitely not 50 though. If you're limited to ARR exclusively then look to get Missile from Battle in the Big Keep (Hildibrand 3rd trial) for mobs, your choice of spells from the primals (Ifrit and Ramuh spells are easy to get from their Hard version, but you'll want them all eventually if you dont mind Garuda or Shiva Ex trial), and Song of Torment from the last boss of Pharos Sirius for bosses. Theres definitely more spells out there you may find useful but those are the main ones I can think off the top of my head for ARR

I get Dawntrail is a big deal. But at this point we have had SO many things that have been half assed or not finished and we can't keep excusing it for the next update. If we do that then everytime anything is ever criticized we can just throw that in. "They're working on the next update for us" That's great, but if current content keeps getting thrown to the side in preperation we're never gonna get content at the quality we deserve. We deserve the new weapons, past players who did this have literally NOTHING to do in this event, it lasts for two months and most players have zero incentive to do it again

same, have to wait until they bring it back before 8.0 launch to get yokai wpns of VPR & PIC

If you already finished the event in the past times you don't even need to. you just have to go redeem the reward

Nevermind apparenlty I don't even have to do fates for the kit, So I literally have no reason to even be logging in cause that kit is not even worth it at this point
