If not, then it can give you some insight on how to defeat her, because I was in the position where I couldn't beat her, so I would reset my game several times, until I was almost about to defeat her, but before doing that I watched how others beat her and I managed to defeat her on my first try Like McKracken, Dame Demona can be pretty damn easy to defeat, once you get used to how they operate and have your Yo-kai at a doable level like close to lvl 40 or higher If you already found a way to beat her, then ignore me. If not, then I could give you a few tips on how to beat her

actually when you choose Tomnyan or the Koma knomads,after you befriend them in post game there is a sidequest where you can befriend the one you didn't choose

Speaking of dumb localization stuff, they actually f--ked up in the Tomnyan quest. When you're about to fight to befriend him, he gets shocked to know that, and I quote from Nate, "tempura is a Japanese food." Well. Springdale IS in Japan canonically now, so BBQ is a new country. Good job, Lv. 5, ya done f--ked up.
Great review, I just wanted to correct a few things you may have misinterpreted, though do tell me if I have these incorrect myself: - There's actually an implication when switching characters and some dialogue that Nate didn't move to a different country, rather he moved to the other side of the country. If you look at the globe when you change characters, both Nate and Hailey are on the same land mass, and if you talk to certain people, they say that you came from " up north ". - You can get both Tomnyan and the Koma Knomads no matter which you pick at the beginning, it just determines which of them you get first. - Usapyon is an otter raised alongside rabbits, explaining his appearance. - The filler floors of Bada Bing Tower aren't COMPLETELY useless since most of them have items in them, but yeah I don't know why it's random. Should've also mentioned Build-a-Nyan; it's dumb, but it's a blast to screw around with. 'Murica, fuck yeah
Yo kai watch 3 is definitely the best of the series and one of the best 3ds games in my opinion. It’s a shame it took so long to translate to English because of how little copies were made. There was literally only 3 copies at my local game shop and they were all in the back room. That was the release day of the game Also chilled cowcao and the pancake girl are the best
@@wolfy739 I have a really hard time finishing this game because I really don't like the 3rd one, I loved the 1st and 2nd. 102 hours on first. 51 hours on second. Only 6 hours in 3rd. I really hate the girls part and her Yokai. I don't like BBQ and these FBI Alien investigators but I hope 4 comes in English, it looks so fun and the characters you can play as is great

The enemy moving out of the way can kinda be remedied by being able to feign them out to get them into a movement cooldown state, even explained by a Babblong infront of the Phantomart.
Yeah, a good strategy I use is to open a soultimate to make the enemies move out the way, and then I close the soultimate and charge a different one with different area attacks, and because the enemies are in the cool down state, they can't move
I loved this game! My only complaint is some of the new Yo Kai's names. I liked the ones in 1 and 2. I like some of the names in 3. But... Come on... Sing Kong, Throne Wiper... Really...?
Fun fact: You can get both Tomnyan and Kona Knomads in 1 game. You get a task for the other in the Detective Agency. All exclusive have a way to get the other without another game.

Actually you can obtain both the Koma Nomads and Tomnyan once you obtain one of them a side quest opens for the other one its possible to get both in one game bcus i have both of them
Yeah i picked tomnyan but after i beat the game i got to show tomnyan around the city and then the tomnyan told the koma knomads about me and that was a befriend
Oh wow I have a VERY different opinion then you lol. I found 2 to be an amazing sequel and I thought it was a really good if not great story that really fleshed out the characters more. And I actually found 3 to be lacking in some areas (new Yokai design, bringing back old bosses and content) still is probably may favorite out of all of them bc of how much is in it lol and the story is AMAZING! One thing that does REALLY irk me about 3 is how some stuff is just impossible to obtain (Pandanoko, Starrynoko, some Build a Nyan Parts, some menu themes)
I’m sorry but 2 is still my favorite lol, I love long rpgs but this game just dragged on way too long for me. It felt super repetitive with its side quests and the bosses were way too easy in the main story. I still had a great time and think it’s a wonderful game though. Really solid review, you just gained a new subscriber, keep it up 👍
5:21 BRO?!? That's part of the fun! You have to really think. My strategy is start a soultimate with jibanyan (but do nothing) then when they move and can't move for some time I use another soultimate that they can't avoid.
This is my favorite game of all time. I've beaten it 3 times (going to play it a fourth soon) and everything is a great from Miss Teri all the way up to THE F***ING AMAZING BBQ BATTLE MUSIC! And seriously if you haven't truly played the Blasters T mode I really recommend it. It's a whole lot of fun.
It feels really good to know I'm not alone in disliking 2 and enjoying 1 the most of the 3. I was like "What is it I'm not getting?!" playing the other games after really loving 1. These YKW vids have been a real treat!
How is Springdale a blank slate? It's remarkably faithful to real world Japan. There is absolutely no chance of confusing it with any other country, unless it's one that happens to have a huge resemblance to Japan (which obviously rules out all Western countries).
Honestly, that's what I like about YW1 compared to 2 and 3. The lack of plot/goals makes it feel mostly down to Earth compared to the other games with time travel/alien hunting.
This one has the best selection yokai in it, but too many nyans. Dr. Nocturne is really useful even if it gets knocked out, his ability still eats other yokai. I have never made it to the post game yet, but Zazel looks really cool too.
Yo kai watch 4 makes three look like masterpieces tbh. Honestly though I wish yo kai watch 3 would have just taken place in the USA (no springdale) and kept the battle system of the orginal. It would have recaptured that feeling of the first game a lot more for me.
I didn’t really say much about the stories of each game. All I really said was that I personally preferred how the first game had a bunch of fun individual scenarios over 2 having a serviceable overarching story, while 3 had a good mix of both. It’s really not a big deal at all though because I don’t play these games for the story.
I enjoyed Yo-Kai Watch 1, but for me 2 was my jam. I loved how the game felt better paced and I loved all the new youkai added in, plus the upgraded watch. The only thing I disliked about 2 was the removal of fusing gems you would find in Terror Time to rusty jewelry to make elemental accessories. Terror Time always felt like a waste of time after the first game. XD There are a lot of youkai I like in 3 as well, but most of them are healers or stuck at C Rank, and I really don't like how the soultimate moves were nerfed for the cat youkai, making them all have the same range no matter what nyan you include in your party. =/ I'm also kinda disappointed you couldn't play as Katie in this version, as I really liked her design a lot more then basic Nate. XD But oh well~! It was really neat to beat a high level youkai (optional fight) with a team of level 12 (with a couple S ranks, to be fair) using the grid system, tricking the king steak youkai by pretending to use a soultimate move before quickly swapping out to use a different one, locking him in for the attack. Was a tough (hour long) fight~! (And to be fair, Yo-kai Watch is probably closer to Digimon then it is Pokemon, or even Shin Megami Tensei, as it involves a lot of fusing to evolve and having three monsters/youkai out in battle at the same time.)
I just found a complete in box copy of yokai watch 3 at gamestop. I new how rare it was so I bought it having never played any of the games. Looks interesting. I’ll have to try it out.
Yokai watch 2 is like smg 2, being more of the first game. Is that a bad thing to me? No, not really, but they really could have done some new things with it. I think the reason for this is that they thought they could do what pokemon was doing and release the same game every iteration in the series (I don't hate pokemon, but you have to admit they are annoying with it). They then saw that yokai watch 2 didn't do well with fans, so they innovated for the third game. Love it or hate it (or be like me and you're in between), you have to agree that they did change things for the third game. To summarize what I mean if you got lost, I think that level-5 didn't innovate for the second game when we thought they would, so we didn't think it was as good as we thought it was. Yokai watch 3 did do this, so you can like it or hate it. That's really all I thought about this, so you can go now. Oh, and this video was good enough to get me to sub. Hope your channel does well!
Do enemies avoid attacks all the time in Yokai Watch 3 or is it some kind of chance? And sidenote, the story in the first game is amazing compared to the bullcrap that Pokemon shoots out, lol. I hope the third game also has a competent story.

You can get tomnyan and the koma knomads. for one of them, youu choose sushi or tempura at that decision, then do your respectivr character's quest. then in the post-game, you can take a quest at hailey's detective office where you show the yo kai you picked around springdale, then it will end with you getting the medal of the yo kai you didn't choose, so that solves that. but then there's the whole little charmer/silver lining, and illuminoct/dark kyubi thing, so your point still stands.
This series is awesome and underrated and I think 3 is the best in the series as well. 1 felt fine for what it is and it did have a really unreasonable difficulty curve, and 2 felt kinda stupid with it’s difficulty and the version specific Yo-kai.
I can understand why people would prefer Usapyon over Jibanyan because that cat has wayyyy to many clones and honestly I'm sick of hearing his sob story for thousands of times and frankly Usapyon had a way better back story then Jibanyan
I’ve played all three games back to back and the 3rd one is clearly the worst one and worst offender of padding. Yeah YKW 2 had the subway system which was annoying but once you got all the mirapos & miradox you’d be fine but the 3rd one is just baddddd with extra nonsense especially when you’re going shopping like do i really need to grab a shopping cart before i buy something?? Its ridiculous. I get why its the most expensive to get because they didn’t print a lot copies of the game but i can also see why they didn’t. Its just not that good, story is boring and bland, Hailyanne can be really cringe at times and the battle system is wack I actually enjoyed what made them unique the wheel system. That grid system is too much imo and has been done before i.e. Megaman Battle Network series. Idk the 3rd game really took that spark that YKW had. I also beat the 4th game in Japanese great game. The 3rd tho sheeeeesh 😬.
This kinda applies to a lot of the comments I receive on this video, but I really appreciate it when people give their opinions on the games. Especially considering that I never actually see that much real criticism towards the series, so it's really refreshing to see for once.

I love this game, but my least favorite thing was that the battle system nerfed the HECK out of Orcanos. I still can't beat him in YW1, and in this game I could literally beat him any time whenever I want.
Honestly a good review but a bit to critical in my oppinion. Especially about the battle system, using more strategy like different combinations of tribes or the same for bonuses, the Combinations of what type and element you want like How many tanks. But most of all, the one thing i think was stupid; was the comment about the Soultimates. If you fight Opponents in the later half of the game Enemys become smarter and yes, try to move out of the way but have you tried either using one of the Yokai that literally stop the enemy from moving or Start to charge a middle/front Soultimate and after a bit cancel it and charge a middle/back row Soultimate (wich since the enemys moved out of the way, can't move anymore and you get a sure hit as well as keep the first yokais soulgage).

Thank you for telling me that you can get both of them in the post game, because not a single person has told me that you can get both of them in the post game. In the almost four years since this video has been released not a soul has brought it to my attention that you can get both of them in the post game. I would’ve never been aware of this information had you not made your condescending comment, so I thank you for telling me that you can get both of them in the post game. Btw someone else commented saying that there are other yokai in the game that require trading despite this game being released as a single version overseas. So after all of these years of people repeating the same information to me, it turns out that my criticism might’ve been correct after all, I just chose the wrong example.
Pokemon sun & moon had 800 pokemon in total, which is probably why, they added so much, I agree to that if you wanna 100% the game but, I enjoy the many different yo-kai
Things i hate about all yo kai watch 1: fishing and bug trapping 2: getting trapped on the history (I got trapped on chapter 1 with neith when i was on chapter 3 with the girl) 3: yo kai watch 3 whole history, is boring as heck really its too loooooooooooooooong
