I just love the little guys! Especially the Terriers ❤ Are you ever afraid that any of the dogs might get into a scrap? How do you handle that? Especially with the bigger dogs?

I tried so hard to answer this on Fridays walk. Ended up down a rabbit hole and wasn’t able to make a daily video as it kind of ruined my other content (talking over it etc). It’s a really tough one to talk about. Of course I’m worried. Their safety and welfare is number 1 priority. But there are certain factors we can’t account for… What we do (and do well) is do everything we can to control our factors. We have a highly effective selection process when it comes to a new dog joining us. We have meetings, trials, observations and feedback about the new dog. We gradually introduce more and more difficult environments, situations and techniques. And the new dog often learns very quickly from the existing dogs - strengthening bonds. All that said - dog tried to mount Barlow on Tuesday. This was a dog we didn’t know. The pack responded in kind by chasing it off with a few barks and growls. We can’t account for everything and in fact, I spend most of my day scanning the horizon rather than looking down at the dogs. Hope that makes sense. I could (and did) talk about it for hours and hours!!!!! Great question. Brilliant!!! Steven 💙🧡❤️

I was out on the pavement with my little dog and a bigger one flew at her and yes it had escaped from its home. I rescued my little dog and she rammed herself against my body.

I hate hearing things like that. It always seems to me that certain dogs get targeted. You sound like you need nicer neighbours 😞. Sorry for the late reply. Notifications have changed on this app for me since the latest update 💙🧡❤️
