"I just had a terrible nightmare that Jeff was a pompous ass" is easily one of the best things Pierce has ever said.

Annie: "and Who the hell are you always texting?! everyone you know is here!" Jeff to his father in season 4: "im constantly texting, and there's no one on the other end. I'm just a grown man who can't even look his own friends in the eye for too long because I'm afraid that they'll see that I'm broken." this is something i think about a lot.

This episode was a harsh reminder that the Study Group aren't "the good guys" of the story. The cast itself has remarked several times how their characters were needy, dysfunctional, and extremely codependent. They didn't even have a Winger speech to bring them home this time.

Ah yes, the moment the study group finally broke Todd

Todd was like a breath of fresh air on Community. He's the Frank Grimes of the show, lol.

This moment is a classic. I'll never forget Todd's monologue

“If loving worms is stupid I don’t want to be smart”

"And who the hell are you always texting? Everyone you know is here!"

The group really shredded Todd down into pieces. He became pretty unhinged and chaotic

Its telling that Todd withstood the study group berating him constantly, stalling the assignment work and holding him hostage for 12 hours, but what finally broke him is them hurting the turtle. 🐢 The monologue itself is genius: "What is wrong with you people!? Huh!? I thought you were supposed to be friends. I thought you were supposed to love each another. Your love is weird and toxic and it destroys everything it touches. I no longer care about grades or biology or finally graduating from college like I promised my dying father. I'm going home. I'm gonna hold my wife and child close. And I'm finally going to take my insulin shot! Offence taken! Offence taken."

It's funny how Todd never EVER did anything wrong and I started hating on him just because of the group influence that he was a weirdo

Love Todd to death. Also, I always found Todd's eye line when he says, "what is wrong with you people!? huh?" to be weird for being to high until just now when I realized it's cause Britta is still on the study room table, lol

It took me a while to get that todd was ‘weird’ because he was the most normal person (at first) the group’s ver of normal is skewed lmao

Todd’s mind was truly gone in season 6.

I really hated how the group treated outsiders all throughout the series, especially with todd

This show is incredible for moments like this. The main cast's hijinks are wacky and entertaining, sitcom-style, but through a real world lens they're all maniacs.

Annie clapping back the shit out of Jeff will never not be funny.

It's been a while, so did this episode happen before or after Jeff confronts his dad? Because if it's before the "who the hell are you always texting" is another seriously well done foreshadow.

I love the study group, but boy, were they all huge assholes in this episode. I have met people like this in my life and I was feeling so bad for Todd. Nevertheless I still did enjoy it. And the ending was sooo satisfying.

“Do they have tiny little faces?” Is such a perfectly delivered line

I hated school projects so much in high school and college so I really felt for Todd. So many times in my head I was like, please everyone, stop the nonsense and the drama, if you want me to do it all, I'll do it all, just please for the love of god come to a decision so I can go home and go to bed.
