I had 13 GTI-Rs spanning 12 years. That's a testament to how good those cars are. In 12 years of hard fast road driving, the only 2 components to fail were a TPS sensor when I was washing one of the cars, and an alternator. My most powerful was a Norris designs forged 370hp, but anywhere around 320+ is enough using lightweight 15/16 alloys. Owned my last GTI-R in 2014,it was written off by a drunk while parked at the back of the house. Shortly after this they got scarce really fast, and prices began to go skyward. Love the Impreza's and Lancers, but the Pulsar is my go to 4WD rally car for the road.

I remember my dad he owned a vauxhall nova 1.2 merit in green and In my teens back then I thought it was a nippy pocket rocket. I'm sure it will look amazing once finished 👌🏻

My brother and cousin used to drive around in old Minis with Crump when they were teens. Crump had a lucky escape when he crashed his Mini estate head on with a Transit. The engine came through the dash and pretty much landed on his lap. He had someone watching over him that day.

A good friend of mine has got five good 2.0L red tops. Anyone needs one or all five they are for sale. He has a mk2 escort with a red top fitted. Car is not for sale. Very cool nova.

@@TwinEngineCorsa ah he's only down the road hopefully see him about when it's finished and i totally agree what an awesome build, back in the day at cannock maccies and merry hill novas were soooo common and u never see them any more ... im currently working on a forester sf5 total restoration, few weeks and it'll be stage 2 ready .... next up built engine (have some saving to do 1st) lol cracking videos keep up the good work!!!!
