Won every cup titles as a player.. Won every possible cup titles as a manager.. Certainly cemented his place as one of the greatest player and manager..
@@3n3j0t4 Yes I'm gona listen to a random guy from the Internet about how one of the greatest coaches in the world doesn't have a chance of winning stuff with one the best national teams over the last 25 years. Go chat to someone who actually will listen to your b.s your a idiot.
His perfomance against Brazil in 2006 is the best single match i have ever seen from one player. He was dominating Brazil's legends. Absolutely unreal. It was like a pro against children. The best ever.
Zidane is the most artistic player ever to play. This collection is as much about his second touch as his first. His first touch is so good, that he is already mentally a step ahead of the defender for the next move.
Partly because the compilation is sloppy, its a first touch video with a tonne of failed first touches... the first two clips in the video are him flicking it too high allowing the two defenders time to steal it back from him, only to then fumble and ZZ ends up with it and the other is him accidentally kicking it at his standing leg and it luckily remaining in his control. He is a legend no doubt but this compilation isn't the one to prove it.
I disagree with you,,,in terms of been artistic ,,no one betters Ronaldinho n I stand to be corrected Their ain't much difference between Zidane control n iniesta control
@@SmartKelz For me, Ronaldinho had more flash and playfulness, Zidane was more elegant and naturally artistic. Iniesta was incredible with the ball at his feet, but Zidane was stronger out of the air and absorbing tackles. Just my view.
Always wondered what set Zidane apart because a lot of players have an amazing first touch where they kill the ball on impact - Messi, Modric, Ozil, KDB, etc. It is that with Zidane, the ball always lands in space after the touch. Everything is intentional. And most of the first touches are with an offensive intent. Every first touch is a set up for playing it forward. Just remarkable.
@@stefanokuoimose7991 De Bruyne?? Really?? He's levels below Zidane in terms of Skill and overall technical ability, Vision is the only thing that I can say you have an argument for if he could be better, but De Bruyne isn't even among the top technicians of his own generation Neymar is different in terms of his touch and what Zidane does with his touch
What Zidane could do with the football, Maradona could do with an orange. Literally everyone was saying it during Zidanes primes yet no one here mentions it
@@alibarznji2000 Messi and Ronaldo have set the bar so high for new great players, Guys like neymar, mbappe and debruiner do these touches all the time, if zidane was in this era he’d just be another good player!
@@stefanokuoimose7991 😂, you're so out of your depth dude. Messi and Ronaldo ok, I get that in terms of numbers and stats, but the other ones have never come close to Zidane's greatness.
I mean his ball skills really need no introduction but notice how he doesn't dive on any of the challenges but continues hounding the ball. Incredible stuff!
Zidane can and must be necessarily described as one of the true Masters of the game. It is hard to compare him since his talent was unique and of a completely different order. The fluidity and elegance of his touches are those of a dancer and his timing is breathtaking. He is the undoubted King among the greatest players of this sport.
ZZ is the king when it comes to securing possession and evading pressure during positive transitions but there's only 1 King of kings across the sport as a whole. O Rei Pelé. Don't forget that David 🧏♂️
Zidane is like Michael Jordan in football. There are a lot of players with great skills. But none of them can be compared with Zidane. He made the game so easy like he isn’t even trying. That’s the most hardest thing to do in football
I thought 2006 World Cup will belong to Ronaldinho (since he was the best player on planet at the time)...... but man, Zizu completely privatized the tournament...... he was unstoppable....... he will stay in our chests forever (especially Materazzi's chest :D:D)
I used to watch him live as a kid and that's why I think it's not about his first touch it's about his creativity even if he screws his first touch he somehow makes up for it with his wizardous dribbling and of course elegance Zizou always the best and most complete midfielder
Probably the most unique first touch variations ever seen. He was very unorthodox with his touches that's most likely the reason how he was able to wiggle out of high probability ball loss scenarios. Very awkward but highly in control with these movements in addition to having an exit plan when he's trapped by a defender. Very intelligent player.
As a football fan for the past 40 years.. for me it's still Maradona.. his level of touch was more of a ball command than ball control Zidane, Dinho, Messi, Bergkamp, Baggio, Henry and several others all had insane 1st. touch control
If only bergkamp would take a plane (missing some key matches) , we definitely gonna see more of bergkamp exploits... So zizou edge him , by a little bit
Except Ronaldinho actually produced results in goals and assists. Zidane was a big game player but notorious for being invisible during most of the season
So much so that literally everyone during Zidanes prime said what Zidane could do with a football, Maradona could do with an orange. It was said so much it became a meme but only people watching back then remember
There’s not really much technique to it he just kicked the ball into a big open space. The trickier more complex passes are in tight spaces that most players struggle to pick out.
you can say:very good, excellent, and great!!! but I will never say that no one has matched him yet! Maradona, Ronaldinho and Messi beside many others have great ball control!!!
You can tell how good a player is by first touch alone. Zidane had a first touch like no other players I've ever seen. He could control a ball so it landed at his feet with any part of his body. The most complete player ever and beautiful to watch. Simply the best.
Who didn't watch zidane in full matches really missed a lot in football. I can just say that my passion starts with watching Zidane playing with France when I was a kid❤❤
You can say whatever you want, but there is no player who made football look easy and perfect at the same time like Zidane. He plays like he is not even trying, he is genius. Probably top 3
Zizou had many thing elite on his game and first touch was one of them but no player not even Zizou had the absolute mother’s embrace that Bergkamp had on his right foot 🔥
A widespread misunderstanding is ball should be stopped as close as possible, you will see this kind of stopping videos all the time, an example is Marcelo once stepped on a high ball and everyone says that's brilliant. In fact, that is not a great way to do it. Zidane barely stops the ball under his feet. He would fully utilize the space around him to direct, not stop, the ball. Put it somewhere the defender just barely cannot reach yet good enough for his next several moves. So elegant!
The first name on the team sheet in my best 11 of all time ,,,,but I will say a man by the initials of dB had a first touch just as good as zz if not better if anyone can get his name ,, ,,zz had a rare combination of strength, balance, aggression and mobility ,,,,along with sublime technique 😀 and most of all a football iq ,,
2 guys with those initials who had an equal first touch to Zizou, and perhaps in terms of first touch alone, were even a little bit better, Bergkamp and Berbatov
Berbatov was OK but nowhere near Bergkamp, he also wasn't good at controlling the ball in motion. Anyway, Ronaldinho is the best when it comes to touches and all sorts of control.
@@TheLostinTheUnknown We're talking only in terms of first touch, not overall control, Berba definitely had that first touch down pat although I agree he was not as good as Bergkamp or Zidane or R10 in the subsequent touches
@@njldst2007 First touch can refer to two things: 1. First touch while you're stationery 2. First touch in motion. In case 1, Berbatov's first touch was OK as long as he wasn't under pressure but in no way he's in the tier of Ronaldinho or even Bergkamp. Ronaldinho could flick the ball over his head with a single touch, Berbatov has never done something like that. Moreover, I could name a lot of players with better stationery touch like Van Persie, Cristiano Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic so let's not overrate him. He was OK but not top tier. In case 2 - he was hardly average.
No one remembers during Zidane prime literally everyone saying what what Zidane did with a football, Maradona could do with an orange. Was basically a meme at the time.
Zidane brings back nostalgic memories of watching football with my family as well as eternally unmatched skill…by the Grace of Almighty Allah who has given us all limbs…and life…yet we fail to worship Him…
I agree with the title, Zidane was the player that gave me the most pleasure to see play, but the first clips chosen in this compilation were not good examples of first touch, but of versatility.
