No criticism, just observations from doing everything you show here myself (we all have😂). Steel moving dollies can be hired cheap. If the gaffer won't cover it or buy one, move on, you know the employees are not the priority...🤔, at a pinch use 110mm pipe sections cut about 450mm and rolling on scaffboards, ply etc. Good enough for Stonehenge and Pyramids. Digging in tight spaces, cut an old metal shovel down and weld handle back on a shortened shaft. Great for digging footings around/under foul drainage. Digging hard ground, get a round mouth shovel it cuts in much easier (good for breaking into bagged, or loose aggregates if not piled on smooth ground /boards too). Others have mentioned spade bits on breakers, if a machine can do a job, let it. Acrows? Too many, sequencing of work is wrong. Don't trust single scaff boards as spreaders either, especially wet ones. Worked on a house in Hampstead in the 90s where the whole back of house inc basement had 110 props for a 3 day period. I found plenty to do out the front, I can assure you🫣. You are strong now but all the manual graft will catch you soon enough, I'm sure you can already feel it. Work smart not hard. Go slow to get finished in time and to budget.
You ask for comments Izzie so, can't help feeling you are showing off abit mate, personally, and i have 45 years experience, i would not have dropped the exterior walls without the steel being on site and would have installed them before taking the guts out of the building. I have no doubt you will get away with it but seriously a good wind could cause real issues. Not having a go, great content 👍
As Always Smashing it, 1 small moan when carrying Steel, Don't Carry the Steel Walking backwards, Trip Steel land's on your Body, you'll Bleed out internally before the 🚑 can Get to site, unless there's a Doc onboard your 💀,Human body only holds 5Lt of 🩸🩸( I've seen it, the Screaming stays with you for the Rest of your life) Proper Procedure 2 on the front in the direction of travel, steel supported by 2by2 underneath (rough handle cut to length so both front facing Men have a firm grip) 2 at the back, However Private work Always short of a extra Pair of hands/back😉, have blocks set up so steel can be layed on , Saves lowering steel to the ground after lugging down Narrow passages, over Obstacles, Trip hazards and 🕳️. Construction a marathon Not a Race to a Early🧑🦽, Builders can Always find the Next Young Dumb 🐂, Work Smart and you'll have a long Healthy/Profitable Career
