All those updates yet they never updated the created characters aura or fighting styles. Imagine being able to change aura, your fighting technique, or even like a 5V5 mode to try and revive or take the game in the right direction (if they ever fix the net code that is)
Dimps dropped the game when excluding the bare minimum of effort they put in occasionally - Pay attention to how mods allow you to change things like auras and fighting styles-
Ah yes "best part", a ten hour wait time to get into a match that will have a 75% chance of lagging, 50% chance of someone cheesing or swearing beyond human limits or simply kicking you as soon as you get into a lobby
PvP is basically taking a gamble, sometimes you get kids who cant play well, then you get mr "ive been grinding since launch day" who plays like they're gonna be executed if they lose. I just dislike the sweat fests, expert missions and crystal raids are where its at
Without PvP i wouldn’t even play this game anymore. What’s the point it’s grinding all this stuff just to use it for only PVE content. I’d get bored fast…
@@xmanofficial L response, Xenoverse trash anyway. Expert Battle better, no one wants to play with constant k stun spam. L player, L human. Never respond again tryhard ahh nga
Things i hope for the future of the XV franchise- doesnt matter if its XV2 or XV3 to me: 1) SS4 Awoken 2) Animated Saiyan Tails 3) Potentially more customizable fighting styles like how MUI and Beast change your combos 4) More Cast Characters seen in the series- I.E. Restrained Broly
"The best mode" consists of ki cancel spammers, move spammers, grab spammers, and step vanish spammers. As well as people vanishing without using stamina
You can spam some of those things, you can’t “spam” step vanishes, and I suppose you can “spam” ki blasts, but if you’re doing a cancel then it’s not really spamming
Last 2 are skill issues, first one is not spam if they’re using it to actually cancel, and grab spamming is like the easiest thing to counter so… also a skill issue technically
Xbox, Switch, and PC are arguably dead when it comes to multiplayer, but on PlayStation, I've never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for a full 2v2 or 3v3 lobby and never longer than a minute for a 1v1.
Limit break is a thing. Also, you can learn them too. Not getting caught in them is also an option. Skill issue. However, I think raids are really good for people who want multiplayer without fighting another player.
Even winning feels bad w how g*y mfs play it’s so micky now n nobody has the real skill or balls to go against the grain yall the real one’s scared of a L doing anything bs just to try and get cheap win that’s why the community is dead.
@@galacticaphant0m was more so about not being able to improve quickly in a game it seemed at the time had many more players experienced in the PvP Without a learning curve so much as a cliff to climb
Something I REALLY hope for in the next game is customizable fighting styles through mentors like, you want rose black's light combo AND ssj4 gogeta's heavy? Cause I think that would be AWESOME
Yea, it would be cool if they kept making Xenoverse games alongside Tenkiachi games . Xeno could focus even more on CACs than it already has to seperate Xenoverse from Tenkaichi, which shouldnt have Cacs.
You'd think they'd take a note or two from Ultimate Tenkaichis Hero Mode. You could change your fighting style, aura, hair form, everything basically. Your hair even STANDS UP when you turn super saiyan. Honestly I liked that part of that game a lot. It was a lot of fun and the customization was dope
@@theharaldrsagaThe gameplay is gonna make you rage I’m not gonna lie but the customization the maps. The voice is the story is just top-tier. I still go back to that game till this day even though it’s probably one of the worst dragon ball games, I played game play wise. It’s a guilty pleasure.
Give us an aura changer, tail with moving animations and custom colors, and a more diverse line of clothing and transformations, and dbxv2 very well could surpass dbfz. My cac looks cool. But its missing that flair, purple ki color and a longer moving tail and id have the best cac I could. And a ssj4 transformation would be the cherry on top.
the only thing i disagree with is the aura thing.. like, yes i understand where you're coming from and i would like it too. but i think (other than being as lasy as we're used to them being) they're afraid it would get confusing because transformstions would all look alike
@@AdacherTrueSelfmakes it better and more immersive plus give players even at 99 a reason to keep playing and keep grinding. I’d say fix the skill and equipment drops I’m tired of doing the same mission 30+ times for a new move
I fell out of it when my friend group sorta disbanded. Played it a bunch competitively to the point where we interacted with some good clans. I just wish they made a third game. I missed the good days of Xeno
@@rainaaa6248 I think 3 will come. DLC is just better financially because you can charge five dollars per character as soon as its done rather than making 60 first, then making their money back. But eventually, they'll need to make a sequel. Xenoverse is going to be dated when Tenkiachi releases.
Xenoverse 2 will forever hold a place in my heart as one of my favorite DragonBall games. Sure it has it's downsides, but looking back I enjoy it so much more even with it's flaws. My friend and I would constantly grind and face off against one another, pushing ourselves to make better and more unique builds and presets, and go on parallel quests together even if we constantly got stomped out. It is a great game
I literally have two friends coming over for the weekend so we can play this game on local battles. Multiplayer can be fun. But there is nothing like sitting on the same couch as your friend when you both try and use a super kamehameha at the same time and the beams nullify each other but you didn’t know because that’s never happened in the 8 years I’ve been playing this game, and after the match you wonder if that’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done in a video game haha.
I still play XenoVerse 2 and I know many friends and other people who also plays this game. Honestly for those who says "Nobody plays XenoVerse 2" then they missing out a LOT. And what's crazy is this game keeps getting updates and there are always gonna be events rather it be raids, tournament, or the Frieza and cooler raiding conton city event. And there will still be more DLC to add to XenoVerse 2.
Hate it or love it this game carried the fandom for so long even after newer games like fighters came out and even though it can be VERY annoying at times it will still always hold a special place in my heart
Still am, And Heres what I'm gonna say to it, It's a good game, Just the fact there's alot of Exploits and Cheesing online, I'm just here to do combos and such while running into 3 bar majins and God fist spammings. Still beat them, i just want to play to have fun.
@@theharaldrsaga've never stopped playing XenoVerse 2 it's just when I try to play pq with people I can't join or find anyone doing the pq I'm trying to do so I have no one to play with so I play with ai but I still enjoy this game
@@Omegamedia313 True BUT If you remember tekaichi 3 allowed you to customize characters with items to boost parameters and different skins and stuff so for a much more modern game it wouldnt take much to put in cacs on that level
Bought it on the switch PS5 and PC in the past year. I love this game and you're right, no one plays online. I fly around in the hub City challenging players that are either super high leveled or super low leveled. Meaning in a few weeks or months there's going to be some big player jumps, especially with the PS5 next-gen update
I don't know what the developers problem is, but Xenoverse 3 would be the best opportunity to include the fans wishes. But no, we need more DLC for XV2. 💀
You honestly think xv3 would solve everyones desires? I'm sorry but that's just dumb and I think you know that, xv3 would just be the same thing with a few newer things that aren't massive in anyway then they'd start pushing dlc almost immediately how is that better? It's just a new title which you have to spend money on for the same thing🤦♂️🤦♂️
The amount of cheese, spam and O-Button spam is so fcking large it could pay for these people their child support. Even though it's a multiplayer pvp these people there play like they are winning money or fighting to survive.
its not because nobody plays coop... its because coop has been broken for literal years and only way to play it is through kame house, and even then its very buggy cuz u cant change PQ while in the lobby
I only played multiplayer when I played Xenoverse 2. A friend and myself would play together once a week for about 2 hours a session. Just running through PQ's and trying to get the drops, taking part in any special events. We would make movesets and costumes to show different arcs for our cacs. It was a lot of fun, but then we had a falling out and we don't play any games together anymore. So in the end I don't play Xenoverse 2 anymore, but when I did it was only Co-Op.
@haraldrsagas wait your new? A couple of things screwed it The addition of limit bursts The buffing of z vanishes making being predictable encouraged The buffed blocking that makes block mashing encouraged The god awful community The modders on pc/ps4 ranked And the players on other consoles who will actively ddos you if you win against them
@@theharaldrsagathe game's netcode so ridicoulous i have seen combo counters go DOWN(not stop, go down) cheese is common, nobodies git any shame et cetera
A big part of why I played every now and again, and not like I used to it because good mods are still present. Now there have been a few people who are cool, and showed me transformation mods and we had a good fight. But then there’s those people who decide to mod because they can’t win a game. And blame everyone for being a sweat.
Yeah, I still do. I've already completed everything, and it seems like it's game over for consoles for me. But right now, I'm just playing Modded Xenoverse 2 on PC, enjoying customization and making my own mods and such. It was worth it playing with mods because I can create a full-on fantasy world: CAC characters, what-if characters, custom quests, Saiyan tails, Android race, Ikari, Seraphim, God Evolution, multiple custom forms to dream of. Even superhero Super Dragon Ball customs too.
Honestly I still play the game pretty much daily even though I have nothing relevant to unlock anymore. This might be one of the first games that I just play without even needing to unlock anything to get a kick out of it
I bought zenoverse about a year ago after a few days I showed it to my brother we then figured out that we can play together and we still play to this day we keep it fresh by playing hard missions by randomised our characters
I do play the multiplayer with my brothers, one of our favorite things to do together, i just like being able to play as all the db characters and run missions together with friends and family
I just play the game for its offline content, the online content isn't that fancy tbh, the vibe of being together with original DB characters and in-game speech during a fight in my opinion is the most attractive part in the whole game (just imagine if they add dynamic reaction animations)
I play offline by myself. I just want moves that look sweet and to have fun, online battles are so sweaty, and trying to do expert missions with friends takes forever for a mission you bang out in 5 mins
Forget to mention how u spammed perfect block did 3 justice combinations and a fake death… to wonder why the mf tryna genuinely play be creative n realistic w skills n strategy not a cheese off that’s what u dip shit funky teenagers who jackoff all day n can’t take a L have turned the game into. It’s not realistic n doesn’t feel like dbz fighting w the amount of cheap moves n play styles there are now u can’t recreate the feeling u get from watching the show n tv show playing like that’s ur just being micky mouse to get a win n it has divided and destroyed the community good job jack offs
Missed opportunity is just trying to make a better communication system, and a multiplayer system where you can team up and join in missions pqs etc even if you end up fighting each other
I was, I used to, I stopped for a while for a few reasons, the anxiety I felt was beyond belief of anything I had felt nearly, the grinding got repetitive, I restarted more times I could count and dlcs to me are not becoming as worth it as they were years ago when the game first came out, and I say this as a fact since with it's new trailer you see 5 'new' characters that are being released... That can also be found on pc with mods, Rose Black can be acquired with dlc, Vegeta SSG same thing. 18 dbs, Videl dbs and Restrained Broly are mods that were done really well with custom movesets that make them that more unique, sure we get new skills, sure we get new costumes, but the rng is outrageous sometimes to a point of deleting the game, and not to mention the times the dlc takes to release by freakin loooord some of them were not worth the wait. Now everyone who reads this ALL OF IT, take this as MY own opinion, I think the game is fantastic for the most part, but it could be better. This is my thought, not trying to start anything, sincerally Unit... And keep up the good work harald
Game is definitely designed for you to fight multiple opponents. The moment there's more than one on your team, AI breaks and all you can do is kick people away, get kicked away and have all your combos interrupted by teammates
PvP is horrendous A battle system built entirely on a gauge breaking then you lose unless your opponent is terrible and then you're just humiliated that You're losing to someone who couldn't capitalize on such a large amount of downtime. Stamina breaking holds pvp back from being cool by alot. PvE like PQs and creating fun characters is nice though despite some really small touches they just haven't decided to implement I guess. Like the decision to add colored auras was a good one. Yknow if you got to use it in the actual gameplay rather that the maybe 2 minutes you spent in conton city at any given point.
Nobody plays anymore because we get updates that nobody asked for, and updates take too long to come out anyway when modders can just add things better.
this game to me, is what one piece is to fans it needs to click how huge this game and its content is i love this game and im upset to admit i never gave multiplayer the chance until recently this month for both ps5 and switch its amazing seeing everyone who truly loves dragonball hangout and fight together!
A dragon ball z game with a for honor and Elden ring pvp vibe would be sick. Like the timing and blocking typa stuff. Or getting hanged up on and still winning
lol I fight everyone on xenoverse 2 I just walk around and challenge everyone I see. You can create up to 8 custom characters at once so you can explore various fighting styles. There are also factions with separate missions that give you exclusive perks for each one. such as Freiza, capsule corp, Hercules and others giving you new move sets etc
I stopped playing the multiplayer like years ago but i still do play this game to this day. The multiplayer was just full of spammers, shit connection and modders
I wasn't too into it at first because I remember being utter garbage at versus matches and one time got killed in less than 20 seconds during my first match, but since then, they've done a lot of updates that make it more appealing.
