Sir, I still hold you as the gold standard for getting good times with a no prep car. Writing down your times as personal goals for what’s possible with my project.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm really glad to hear that my times are inspiring you. Keep pushing forward with your project-I'm sure you'll achieve some amazing results. Best of luck, and happy racing!
If you finding your getting simple green all under your body, Lil thing I do with Simple green. I have a mat just for spraying simple green on. Saturate that mat and do a slow burn out for maybe 2/3 sec and tires become clean, with no flinging of the simple green. All stays on the mat. 2nd dry mat for pre stage burn outs to heat the tires.
@@kwikNvaracing Thanks for the tip! Saturating a mat with Simple Green sounds like a great idea for keeping things tidy and effective. Appreciate the suggestion!
Wow, great job! I’ve got the same motor, ESC, and chassis. Could you share the size of the spur gear, pinion, and the FDR of your car? I’d love to see if I can hit the 2.2-second mark too!
Thank you! I’m glad you liked it. For my setup, I’m running an 87-tooth spur gear, an 18-tooth pinion, and a 2.43 transmission. The final drive ratio (FDR) comes out to 11.745, with a 3.49 rollout. Best of luck hitting that 2.2-second mark-I’m sure you can do it!
