I bought used polo comfortline 1.2mpi 2017 34000km driven for 5.59lacs... it's been two years now, first year i spent 15k for service + 18k for clutch, 2nd year 73k for suspension engine bed, lower arm, break disk & break pad and ball joint... Mileage in Bangalore city 10 to 13, highway 15.5 to 18... Very occasionally i feel power lag (only with 5 people) but still it feels new even after 7 years & very much satisfied... I would recommend to review polo 1.0 & 1.2 mpi as well

In my perspective I think vw recalled Diesel engines in european countries for some reason like same emissions standards issues so they might have pulled over tdi engines with BS6 emissions Our government is also not reducing the taxes for CBUs and CKDs, this makes other imported cars not worth it many examples like octavia vrs245 and recently skoda superb are wasted for their value and making them like importing of products are loss ,so skoda and vw tried to indaianise the platform and made Kushaq under small footprint and kept it under compact suv segment the advantage of this smaller footprint is that it can be useful in cities not too much of compromise in space,if they made it somewhat larger then it can/cannot be a different case About Slavia ,it is as the same platform and I guess they are just saying this as overengineering because a car with 179mm GC can ride and handle better than its competitors or strikes some good balance but from buyers perspective vw and skoda cars are known for their quality Eventhough fundamental of this architecture is strong some of the screwing of plastics and quality is missing which makes older generation seltos and creta (which are unsafe but good interior quality) to sell more These 2 cars only best suited for 4 seater which aims on nuclear families 2nd gen Creta has just runned for its name plate 1st gen is more muscular than all the generation that too prefacelift Swift also same fate 2nd generation made a good way and striked the ride and handling balance but after 3rd generation they are just downing on safety and quality due to weight reduction Note: These are from my perspective,so I might be wrong some places or whole ,you can write corrections in reply but please don't argue that he is vw fanboy or like you don't know anything These are from my point of view and no offence 🙏

team i own a rapid , upgraded h7 bulbs with the stock h4 from dealership, i have visited 4 times the service centre to get the allignment done still not right finally i did the same with a multi brand sevice centre, did an oil change at shell as an intermediate oilchange with shell oil and vw OE filters when its taken to dealership and when i said i have been threatened for warranty applicability, but what ever behind the wheel the solid feel the engine and gearbox fills your mind and mouth with a wide grin

I may Agree with your assessment of the Indian market, but when it comes to European and US car manufacturers, the fundamental design of their vehicles differs significantly from that of Indian, Korean, and Japanese car makers. This disparity is why they deem their cars over-engineered for the Indian market, but not for the EU and US. This comparison is unfair, and it looks like a comparison between a car against an auto-rickshaw and a bullock cart. In other words it's an Apple to Orange comparison not Apple to Apple. Certain aspects like comfort, durability, quality, and driving dynamics aren't seen but it can only be felt, that's a subjective experience. These are few factors why the cost is high. I m a kushaq user for 2.5 years and drove nearly 60k. Despite all cost cuttings no cars has brought ( fayher has duster and wife has swift) the joy while driving which kushaq and personally i value it more than anything . Even in heavy traffics it keeps in my comfort zone. Personally the engine plays vital role than the features . The next car should recreate the same joy as this beauty does for me. Kushaq ❤
