I met his parents today and i must say, this man ain't no joke, his name was built on rejections. "No Rome" literally what organizers says to him when he was still starting in the industry. he even played songs with only the venue's security and waiter watching, cuz no one was there to listen... God Bless Man!
My dream line up in a music festival No Rome The 1975 Rex Orange County Boy Pablo Hippo Campus Phum Viphurit Joji Rich Brian Alec Benjamin Billie Eilish Jeremy Zucker
Being that you like Alec Benjamin and Jeremy Zucker, you may like EDEN too! His music is quite different, but a lot of Jeremy Zucker fans enjoy EDEN as he has produced a song for Jeremy :D And that group of listeners generally like the same kind of music.
Wow no rome is a FILIPINO or Philippine wooh may magaling na tayong mga nakapasok sa vevo at maganda gumawa ng kanta woh go filipino now we have a great Philippine great music maker go Philippines
Lyrics are below. ↓ Taken from the Genius page that me and others individuals contributed to. [Intro] A lot of people I know, everyone maybe Just hear the great uselessness, you just- I mean, you're a human being and it's all so big You know, the world is so big And everything is so untouchable and unreachable That they just wanna do something they can be a part of And they can- they can, like, mould and they can make- [Refrain] Running, I go back Running, I go back-back Running, I go back Running, run, run run Running, I go back Running, I go back-back Running, I go back Running, I go back-back [Verse 1] Simons' my shoes run over me All of my jeans be next to me I guess your time is luxury We should rewind, pull back the seats Girl your chain is so heavy, looks so fine Head so messy, give it some time Prada be the devil to my angel Take your shoes off, that must be painful [Refrain] Now Only if you wanna go do it I won't ever have to make you do it Only if you wanna go prove it [Chorus] Promise me that you would never lie I could buy things that you would like Dolce & Gabbana on a bag Put Balenciaga on the cap You could push your boy to the side You know I could be a better guy Double C's hanging over you Only if you're telling me the truth [Verse 2] Don't really talk, I'm the type to go in it I'm pretty much sure you're fucking with a minute man Every time I try to get it, you stay, you stay adamant So much you can adore but you're over there losing it Well baby, let me show you how I drive I could take you home, on a Friday night You can turn the lights off by your side Cause I don't really like it [Chorus] Promise me that you would never lie I could buy things that you would like Dolce & Gabbana on a bag Put Balenciaga on the cap You could push your boy to the side You know I could be a better guy Double C's hanging over you Only if you're telling me the truth [Refrain] Running, I go back Running, I go back-back Running, I go back Running, run, run run Running, I go back Running, I go back-back Running, I go [Chorus] Promise me that you would never lie I could buy things that you would like Dolce & Gabbana on a bag Put Balenciaga on the cap You could push your boy to the side You know I could be a better guy Double C's hanging over you Only if you're telling me the truth [Outro] Running, I go back Running, I go back-back Running, I go back Running, run, run run
Martyn Shirra I think the first question mark is “I’m about to go in it” and the second is “you’re over there losing it” but I really appreciate the lyrics especially so soon after the release
You can really see the influence of matty to his mentor but still, no rome is owning all of his songs as if it is only his... I mean there's a littl3 bit sprinkle of matty to his music but the rest, it's his own signature.
I saw an ad of this song while watching a video in RU-vid. And I'm now thankful to that ad because I see another good but underrated artist. More power man! Your time will come. Mark my word.
I'm so glad that no rome went out from the Philippines and made his career outside the country. I mean there's no chance for him to get that kind of recognition here in the Philippines because what the media priotize the most are actors who are trying hard to be singers just to get fame and money. Trying hard/talentless singers who rely on auto tunes and sound engineering to make their voice right. Music industry here in the Philippines is toxic as fuck!!
