As a Korean, I'm curious too, but unfortunately, the box office failed in Korea, so I don't know if there is anyone to do it because the popularity is low (I used google translator)
@@타누Tanu 봤는데 한국 사람이이 게임을 했나요? 누군가 그렇게한다면 재미있을 것입니다. 말레이시아에서는 한국이 꽤 유명하기 때문입니다. (번역 : Google 번역) (I see, but did any Korean played this game? If someone does, it would be interesting because in Malaysia, Korea is pretty popular)
@@istandidol It's not a dub if it is the original was the point I was making. Dubbed by definition is "provide (a film) with a soundtrack in a different language from the original"
So they just make them more Robotic, kinda hard to hear their Lines, the 2nd Phase Malfunction Robots sounds more distorted than the Original. but the Defeat scene looks more Overdramatic, which makes even funnier for Neon J XD
The voices and subtitle aren’t really translated one to one For example in 1:02 mayday says:”嫉妬してんの?” Which literally means “are you jealous” And in 1:09 zuke says:”お前のせいだぞう1010!” Which means “this is all your damn fault, 1010!” The voice actors were actually great in their performance nonetheless
this is what i heard actual 1010 voice 諸君。 (Sho kun. Bokutachi no yui-itsu muni no hon-mono no ai wa koko ni aru. Ri-so no kareshi ni natte ano ko wo mero-mero ni shiyo u. Kimi no so no ‘exotic’ na utsukushisa ni kei-i wo hyo-suru no sa. So no tsu-ya tsu-ya shita kami, utsukushi-i hitomi.”,sarani so no ‘sexy’ na kuchi-biru. Bokutachi wa iki wo suru koto wo wasurete shimai souda. ikimo, deki naaai’yeah’. Bugaisha wa damatte. Ware ware ga arawareta kara ni wa ‘sexy’ na shi-mei wo hatasu no mi. Anata wa sa-maru ‘go-guru’ wo sou-chaku shita ho ga iidesu yo. nazenara, bokutachi wa, atsui ka ra sa!)
Makes me wonder that they could've said the English words in the Japanese dub. Like the "stifled" part. But I'm not gonna lie, the "party all night" bit gave me chills.
At least make them sing better because some lines like the "1,2,3,4! And Jam!" Has almost no melody in it, If you get what i mean, a bit too robotic different from the english dub
Omg i JUST got the joke Ten ten is like a representative of boy/girlbands right Aren't ppl who're fans to them called the *army*? And like, they're kinda an army with all the "attention!" And ready set fire thing idk Just thought it's a pretty obvious joke that i JUST realized-
Army's are specifically for BTS fans. That's their fandom name. I think it's because Korean men are required to attend military training including idols.
@@crystalixflaye6398 Actually the army thing doesn’t have that much of a deep meaning. The fans are just called army because BTS (bang-tan-sonyeondan)’s bang-tan means bullet proof. And that name is not related to the Korean army or anything. Just trying to give the strong image. But you know, your deduction was good. 😂
I think this is the first time I've ever felt like the English cast did an *_extremely_* better job than the Japanese voice cast with the translation still being relatively the same.
even if the translations sound a bit off in game and it doesn't flow as well, i have to definitely commend them for putting the effort to have a japanese dub in the first place. the performances are really well done nonetheless
Strange, the stage cleared record looks different in my version. Mine shows Maday and Zuke driving a car through 1010, and views them through the front windshield.
idk, I still believe the English dub nailed the emotions of the characters. (i.e When Zuke gets shocked at Mayday for falling for 1010.) But the regular cutscenes, the japanese dub really did it better.
That’s because they are. Every boss in this game represents a vice of the music industry. In this case, boy bands with members so interchangeable that they might as well be manufactured.
The Japanese dub is more focused on the militaristic and robotic aspects and lacks the idol and melodic parts compared to the English. For example: The baby, I’m electrifying is said in a robotic tone, like how google translate would say And the ATTENTION and AIM AND SHOOT part isn’t harmonized and more like an order.
Hearing how all these character sound in Japanese makes me wish there was an English dub, and Japanese dub voice actors for other characters who don't have any.
elilettuce no no, I’m sorry. I meant that, since Japanese has different words and each translation is different, and if someone with free time on their hands and a high understanding of Japanese would post the translation in my replies. Since, for example, Zuke was cursing out 1010 but the captions said he was saying the original phrase. I’m sorry that you thought that way. I do understand the struggle to retranslate everything. 😅
So its very nice in the Japanese dub but the problem with this is that i still dont understand why a cyborg with military knowledge is a musician/host so the part where they say military stuff and codes make no sense to me for this boss battle. He has military power and knowledge so i dont see why he dosnt stay? You could argue that he's discharged but i dout it as the outfit hes wearing has some stuff that are medals/badges that can only have from military power and why he still acts like he has ptsd as he clearly dosnt have it
Considering the designers of the game are from Malaysia (because DK West speaks in a very distinct Malay dialect), you'd have to ask the Malay people. But what a lot of people from the outside may not know, is that military personnel in the late 50s and up until the mid 80s were heavily involved in media production to further the communist values of Malaysia. They made a 3 hour movie that was shown every year on the same day until the 90s, I think. It was crazy to hear about. To answer your second question about the PTSD, there are two ways to look at this: Either Neon J is a bit like Astro Boy (created to look like/be a particular human as a copy) or he's like Data from Star Trek (created in someone's image but destined to be more than that person). It's possible he has his creator's memories, but he's not sure how to process them, or his cybernetics have dwindled the impact of the PTSD, if he was indeed military personnel. Again, you'd really have to ask the developers.
@@planofattack6830 malaysian here, i don't know what you're talking about. where did you get the information from? this whole battle is k-pop themed, and alluded a lot to k-pop history. 1010's lightstick (that you'll get after the battle) is based on bts's lightstick, the army bomb. the roots of modern korean pop music comes from the korean war, where local groups began adopting american music genres and styles to perform for the occupying us military. neon j being the manager of 1010 is an attempt to link back present day k-pop to these beginnings. browse through the collectibles talking about his deployment in a border war and watch his post-defeat rant again. he talked about fighting a war through chilling temperatures and mountain ridges. go read some accounts on major korean war battles like chosin reservoir or heartbreak ridge.
