I wouldn’t say desperate but acknowledging that maybe we kinda need a little help at wr yet, even if he’s to expensive to afford we still need to get a bit better at wr to make me feel better about the room, Sutton is fine and from what I’ve seen and heard he’s doing all the right things
What? Aiyuk has 3,931 yards in 4 years, with his yardage increasing each season. Last year, he had 1,342 yards as a WR2, while sharing 1,000+ yards with Kittle, Deebo, and CMC. Aiyuk's route running is impeccable, and his wingspan is comparable to Megatron's. What makes him great, aside from his wingspan, hands, and route running, is his ability as a blocker for his teammates and his natural talent for YAC. Ranking 8th in the NFL as a fourth option, he's definitely a future GOAT, so put some respect on his name!
Any Russ we get is better than Tiny Handz Pickett!!!! Even when Russ had a bad season he still did better than all 3 quarterbacks we dealt with the past 2 years
If you constantly trying to bring in "1st Rounders," how are you going to discover the next Antonio Brown? The next James Harrison? The next Jaylen Warren? How? I think our receiver room is fine and will excel in Arthur Smith's offense. We don't need a guy that's going to demand targets on a team that needs to spread the ball around. Steelers have "Speed Depth" which will be important this year. Our speed guy was CAIII last year and now we have several guys who can take the top of the defense. If those linebackers or safeties are caught looking at the run, they will get beat deep quickly.
CAIII, Quez Watkins, Van Jefferson, & Scotty Miller with George are your veterans and Roman Wilson waiting in the wing...not to mention, we also have the Swiss Army Knife in Cordelle Patterson. I think we will be fine. Russell is a veteran and he will get these receivers to buy in and they will be successful. Our BIGGEST question will still be around the offensive line until otherwise proven.
@@SteelersAlmighty Semantics. We have the receivers to get the job done. We were already contenders. Its not our fault the coaches chose NOT to start Mason in 2022 & 2023 after being the better quarterback in training camp. The microscope will still be on the offensive line as well as how Russell performs in a Steelers uniform. We made it to the playoffs last year (Thank you Mason) with a lot less than we have now on both sides of the ball. Kenny & Mitch rendered Dionte Johnson ineffective. With Mason and now Russell, Dionte would have been more relevant. Now everyone on the offense will have a Mason-like quarterback (I still think Mason at this point in his career is a better traditional quarterback than both Russell & Justin) and be more effective. Brandon Aiyuk would have been just as effective as Dionte with Mitch & Kenny.
I have Joe as my #1 Steeler. TJ has some ground to make up even if he is a “better” player. Top 15 Steelers Of All Time | Steelers Almighty ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Otp0IqsH_i0.html
