@@Jacksonvillian904or pullin out of an easement before you hit the road but your texting in a Miata so you pull out on the sidewalk located right in between the property an the public road.
@@Jacksonvillian904 "why would they do that?" Because most people in America are not good enough drivers to be safe on the road, but they have to be able to drive cause there's no other way to get anywhere, so we solved this problem by making standards for a drivers license incredibly low. Basically anyone who can drive down a straight parkway without crashing can get one. I've seen people almost hit me trying to pull in my lane when I'm in a 10ft tall truck.
fun fact: ive have been to these countries and the way these people ride scooters and motorbikes is insane and 1000 of them can pass you in traffic going fast or slow in these countries and not one accident will occur alot of times people dont even stay in their lanes and the people always signal for bikes not the cars they are all used to driving like this and trust me this is only a city street the highways are much more fun
i live in a country like this and mind you, the accidents happen. they happen a lot. the drivers are used to their shit. most of the time, it's the car (or any other vehicle for that matter) drivers more concerned for their safety. they ride their bikes recklessly and often times get themselves in accidents caused by pure carelessness. they're super annoying

I grow up in southeast Asia. It's the norm here, the cars would even expected us to stayed out of the lane in a traffic as if we stayed in the lane making the 'line' longer. I'm really fastinated by western proper bikers when I'm online..
