andy robertson took accountability at the end of the scotland game like a true professional - why can't our captain take the same level of responsibility
England fans expect too much from their players n hv that ego n hatred towards certain rivals club players n forget they represent their country n complain like few Chelsea fans want palmer to play n drop saka, man itd fan wants mainoo to play n drop rice 🤣😂 stupid fans u deserve no trophies because of ur biased thoughts..
two years ago, German were shites. Hansi Flick failed to do his magic. all the medias agreed. he needed to go. then Nagelsmann came and changed it. it wasn't easy. but he got the job done. England could never do the same, sadly.
imagine literally in any job saying to your customers/boss 'dont criticise me for my poor and performance on the job just pay me millions 'cus im sensitive'
I can’t believe they’re whinging about Linickers critique. It was so so mild and incredibly polite, he went to huge pains to be nice and constructive with his criticism.
liniker and Alan only defend a position of criticism seen from outside the field, giving people something to talk about because they are paid for it. It is up to us as fans and followers of our English squad to have the last word. In my humble opinion I think that Southgate no longer has anything to contribute to the team. The players are top-notch, they just need another manager.
It’s weird how protective they’re being about Southgate. How he’s taken us further than any manager has in ages, like that’s some sort of achievement. With the teams he’s had, we should’ve gotten to the final 2 world cups ago, arguably should’ve beaten France and had a good crack at the final in the last one and won the Euros vs Italy. We’re just too sloppy when it matters and that’s down to him
Here in Germany, are players never holding back about the manager, we recently saw it with hummels with Edin Trzic at Dortmund. If the manager isn't good enough they'll will express it, and the manager would do something to correct it like leaving ect. England players are just soft towards managers, mainly the international players. Personally as a german and professional England hater when it's international football I fully respect and admire England fans determination to get southgate out...
I’m genuinely curious about this to gain a foreigners perspective on us. Do you see the team that we have the same way we do, full of talent but being let down by a league 1 standard coach? Or is it just a case of English players aren’t as good as we think they are. Of course if pep came in tomorrow and we performed the way we did against slovenia as we did against Denmark then we know the players aren’t that good but I genuinely believe it’s the manager that’s the problem. I’m just interested to see what you all think on the outside.
nobody outside England cares about your team. people have their own shithouses to support and they can't be bothered by your coach or couch or manager or anything, really.@@bluesEvanskro
@@MrBrasserie and a STRIKER with NO MOVEMENT - How can all our ASSIST men play a through ball to someone who makes NO runs - Kane is making everyone look bad
Kane is the biggest loser in world football right now always finishing 2nd. Also having arsenal, tottenham, Chelsea losers that bottle every trophy with a goalie captain who fights for relegation with a championship manager is a recipe for disaster. The only 3 people in that team with titles are Bellingham foden and walker who all get breastfed in a system with a goat manager. Individually they're headless chickens
I wouldn't have contempt for the fans, I would just ignore them instead. The perspective of fans is different from the perspective players should have. Why would you even bother before your journey is over?
Kane has a low confidence, hard done by mentality. This is why he’s never won anything and stayed at spurs for so long. He lacks the ruthless arrogance other forwards of his ability in the past had which is also why he is always so poor in important matches.
Lineker's one minute on Kane was the best punditry of the whole tournament. Absolutely spot-on analysis. I really like Kane but he really needs to take this one on the chin. They were sh*t and he knows they were.
Kane may have the stats on his side but as a striker he isn't even in the England top 5. Lineker, shearer, Hirst, Rooney and Owen were way better players and were electric and other teams feared them. No one fears Kane he's just like southgate dull and plays it safe
@@tomg3131 lineker Owen and shearer where definitely not better strikers than Kane 🤣 just because I player has better movement doesn’t make them a better player… Kanes been the best striker in the world for the past 5-10 years… none of those players apart from Rooney where ever the best player in there position that consistently, he’s scored more than all of them….
Idk what you want him to do though - he was asked a question. It was unprompted. I think he handled the question as well as he possibly could have. He’s not gonna come out and say “everyone is right, we suck and are playing horribly”. That doesn’t instill any confidence in those new players
Finally someone with common sense, he’s not gunna come out and trash the team performances live on telly, no one knows what’s being said behind the scenes, all he’s asking is for support from the fans, we always start slow in tournaments it’s nothing new
He’s a disgrace. They don’t have the god given right for respect. We, the fans owe you nothing anymore. YOU need to win games and EARN our respect and support. This isn’t Scotland, we aren’t celebrating making it out of the groups and cheering mediocrity.
Genius!!! absolute genius!! apply comment beyond Fitba .. imagine, as they do in the U.S. and the President gives his 'State of the Union' address .. This nation has become a 'Soap Opera' country!!! Absolute Genius .. THAT IS the state of the U.K. 2024!!!! Socially, Politically, Economically ...
Rishi sunak has been running the country the same way, trying to PR his way out of a disastrous leadership. Farage has been the same since brexit too, albeit with better PR.
This is the team and manager that covered their mouths in Saudi. The ones that kneel. They let a 19 year old take the last penalty in a final. They're not built for war. It's too nice. PR and sweet talk.
kane started off like he was going to say something sensible but then watered it down and tried to be too diplomatic and he ended up sounding like a dope.
He’s been pushing deep for years at England, not the first he’s been caught out for this, so what’s Southgate done to either fix it or accomodate it? Sod all
This is what happens when you have an England team run by PR and are more interested in image/social media/having footage of them playing pub games and doing those stupid interviews with that weasel Josh Denzel.... It's pure PR spin from the FA circling the wagons around Southgate because they know they're shit, but won't take the blame for it. You can tell how intensely media coached they all are from the way they all talk, just robotic nonsense saying anything to divert away from the real issues
Absolutely spot on mate. Have you seen their socials its a circus in the camp. Got diary room like big brother did. Its pathetic no other international team is doing this nonsense
The nation has lost patience with southgate and were willing to give the players the benefit of the doubt. Coming out with this BS in press conferences is going to lead to the fans turning on them also.
The players love playing for Southgate they won't cristise him. Its a circus in the england camp Its a holiday camp seen there socials not even concentrating on football.
With due respect to England fans, they think they're better than everyone in all things and that's why they always expect more than what they can offer.
It's not just the players Mark...I just spent an hour listening to you complaining about how other clubs play the game better during transfer season than us....seems victim mentality runs deep in england
Accept the criticism and do your talking on the pitch with the ball at your feet. We as football fans, are entitled to our opinions and critiques. It's all genuine and fair criticism
Yes I think each team should be allowed take one player from another foreign country. So England can just Trade Harry for a winner like Mo Salah or Haaland
I won’t support England until Southgate is out. I like to watch football for entertainment, so I’d rather watch teams that actually play well and cohesive, and who don’t make 💩 excuses for their poor performance.
Thank you for calling The England Team. Our team is dedicated to assisting you and is working diligently to provide the best service possible. Please be patient and kind to our operators as they help you with your inquiries. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.
As a Welsh lad, I am loving this predicable performance and kick back for England. Talent, yes - organisation, management, mentality? Nope, same every competition. Stop telling them they are going to win...they never are.
