but it is pretty good for mobs, u can guarantee one shot them with a crit ult (it does around 75k with physical orb on 2k atk excluding break) and gain 2 bullets immediately I say that it's not misinformation, the bulk is rarely needed, he takes more dmg, sure, but only by the enemy in stand off and once they break they're not getting another turn (break delay, ult delay, potential one shot,..). For enemies outside of stand off he actually takes even less dmg. U can use a hp and def orb and body, that's fine if u have good subs, but with the same substats a crit body and physical/atk orb will always clear faster because u can consistent crit with that 75K ult. And more defensive stat is kinda excessive, my 300BE and 150 spd boothill build still has around 3k6 hp and 1k2 def. If my 2k6 hp silver wolf can live through MoC 12, there's no reason he can't

Why is Def Shred good for BE characters? More dmg during break or more dmg when they are broken?

@@NS-ku1kf DEF decreases any damage taken, so the more you can ignore (like Firefly does) or the more you can shred/lower it, the better

he needs around 80 to 116 be from subs depending on sub stats then you add ruan who with watchmaker gives 50 or hell even tb who with watchmaker can give around 100% be with 100% uptime on both be buffs and believe me bro 300% is not hard at all

I get 410-ish BE at gallagher with 230 BE HTB +4set watchmaker+ruan mei buffs.. not sure how to count all the bonuses but 300+BE is not difficult at all.

but you'd have a better chance of getting break effect on a piece than any cv so go for another relic if that one doesn't work out

But you're not wrong. With that build, it's already 60% CR and over 200% CD from just his passive. If you get any extra crit from your pieces, that's just a bonus.

Not even sure if the extra BE from HMC would count as diminishing returns. Super break is still super break. Bronya is kinda understandable. I don't have Bronya so I'm not sure if action advance gives speed or just brings the character up in the sequence but I'd rather build in the speed for the extra BE from Talia planars. But she's still good, more Boothill turns means the faster he breaks the enemy and deal break dmg afterward as well, especially if Bronya is hyperspeed. Pela is just... Yeah okay I love her defense shred, and she's universal. I wouldn't necessarily put Gallagher in her place but I'd rather a Bronya/HMC support than Pela. ._.

It’s really just preference, and firefly hasn’t been finished yet in the beta, but it’s your choice, you can either go for hunt or destruction character, there’s no wrong answer, just choose who you think will help you a lot more or if you just need that type of DPS character than go for it

She doesn't need to get buffed. She's multi target, Boothill is single target, they're different types of characters.

That's about it, adding some extra atk & crit is pretty nice just in case you need a little bit of dmg to finish elites. She's just easier to build compare to sparkle for the same turns you get. 124 SPD + RM Bronya without DDD gets you 4 BH Action per wave. This is not even their final form. If you invest more SPD relics you can get 6 action total. But as you can see here Aventurine can't survive 3 turn already. Sparkle is harder to speed tune & her advance aren't as powerful. She's good for slow dps. But Boothill is a DPS who excel with SPD boots.

People that doesn't have those god crit rolls are likely to have the BE pieces that are >2 or 3. Provide than they didn't trash their own gear because "no crit = trash piece". Literally put 2 spd each pieces at best. Not sure what's godly about those. Yes focus on single stats can be hard but i'll have that piece before i even get a double crit relic to even roll for in the first place. Let's not pretend like everything has the same rarity as crit subs since there's already data about that :| .
