@stevie586 7 месяцев назад
@@veganpotterthevegan I don’t think Coleman’s best days are behind him…I think he is working on something and I can see what it is. Notice, in the past, Coleman always had a great start and faded in the end, although his 9.7’s were after peaking and he focused on the top (he and Shelly Anne had the exact same issue, and we see hers is fixed). He’s fading so much in large part because he reaches his top speed too fast; this always slows folks down in the end of the 100M. Coleman trained hard on 200M and 400M last year to work on this, he has improved his top, and I think he is now working on taking a little off the front to maintain better in the end.
@veganpotterthevegan
@veganpotterthevegan 7 месяцев назад
@stevie586 he hasn't improved his top speed. He's simply lost less of his top speed than his acceleration. If you were right, he would have PR'd in the 200 last season. Instead, his top 200 has gotten slower every year since his suspension was over. No idea what you're watching😅

I think 9.75 is highly possible at Paris considering he improved a lot in his start, combined with his current unmatched top speed it will surely produced a fast time but for the 200m I doubted a 200m world record this olympic since last year he ran 19.52 (which he is exhausted after running rounds of 100 and 200). @@TheoOJamaloO1 sorry guys, HUGE late night mess up on my part, I even forgot Bolt's 9.63 😭 My rationale might work for a 9.69 considering: 1) a .1 improvement on his 60 would translate to at least 9.73 (from last year's 9.83). 2) he's the best finisher and I feel like the last time he was all out like 100% was his NR in the 200m.. he looked like easing out a bit every time from this race on, even @ 100m (although less noticeable).

3:22 you say Lyles has figured out a way to separate from the field after 60m yet while you say this you show two clips of Tobogo closing the gap and well Tobogo just broke the 300m WORLD RECORD which is a kind of speed endurance Lyles has never achieved Id say Tobogo is almost the favourite now

I just checked my phone for a guy called Christian Coleman, as I haven’t seen his posts for a while and then realised he blocked me lol 😂 as I cannot find him anywhere on my main account and when I switched accounts I find him lol He is a famous sports star in track/field especially the 100m/200m, I’m not sure what I did to deserve being blocked though as all I used to do was post a lot of stuff about track and field and voice my opinions about stuff related to the sport some of it may be controversial l just find it quite bizarre lol 😂 as I randomly just found out now it could of been 2 years when he blocked me lol

This guy never beat Usain bolts' world record of 100m and 200m. I am 💯 sure, even in the long run. Usain bolts record will stay for many years to come . It's really very hard to break Usain bolts' world record.

Pretty impressive run at those speeds this early into a very long track season for both runners end at the Olympics. Factor in running at +5000 feet in ABQ, NM. Records are made to be broken and I would love to them go head-to-head and work together to break some records in sprints and relays.
