This is probably one of the best final bosses I've ever faced. In tandem with the godlike music, the boss itself comes at you with a huge arsenal of attacks that are challenging yet fun to avoid, putting all of your skills to the ultimate test. God, Platinum honestly always nails their final bosses.
This fight was definitely one where it feels like you’re fighting something as threatening as it seems. Also I love how you just go ham on it when the finish it prompt appears, just an all-out beat down with every legion was extra epic
I just got to this boss, i haven't defeated it yet. And it inmediately give me strong Bayonetta vibes, like the battle against Jubileus. Just wow. This is why i love Platinum Games: they are experts to make epic, menacing and hard boss fights that makes you feel that every boss is the final boss, as the mentioned Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising, Nier: Automata and The Wonderful 101. UPDATE: I defeated him, i got a S ranking, but damn it was painful. Now my right hand hurts a little for the button mashing. And i say it again, many developers should take note of Noah Prime because this is how you make a final boss: a long fight which test the player to use all the things learned in the whole game without giving any chance to cheese it. No QTEs, no scripted hits, no enemy waves, no goons to help the boss while he waits, no anti-climatic stuff, just you and the enemy in a fight hitting each other with everything they have.
I’d tried a lot to beat him took a break for a few days tried again and after like 2-5 more attempts I finally did it and the sheer amount of excitement I felt- wonderfully done boss
This song doesn’t just make you feel like your fighting a god, It makes your feel like your fighting the embodiment of Eternity, THE God of Creation! Like you’re fighting creation itself! ... or at least something just as powerful that threatens it!
