Will any of these provide solid cashflow? I started my 250k portfolio last year with SCHD, VOO, and VUG after watching one of your videos. In terms of share price, VOO is way up over 22.25% and VUG is waaaay up about 39.62%.Thanks for the education.

I retired at 57 (now 58) with ~$728k and investments in BTC/SCHD/ETH. I travelled Southeast Asia for a year while traveling slow from city to city. After a full year of travel expenses, I still have ~$942k in my accounts. I used my taxable brokerage account to pay for these expenses. Has anyone started combining these market ratios with crypto data? Ive always felt like i could see the future of stocks by watching btc. I rarely pay attention to the stock market but I keep my eye on bitcoin whie actively trading all the time and I always find myself saying well this is different right before something big happens in the stock market. I give Bitcoin credit for the soft Landing. Not the Federal Reserve....I've engaged in active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 24Bitcoin....At the heart of this evolution is Francine Duguay, whose deep understanding of both cryptocurrency and traditional trading has been instrumental. Love your work, John. Curious to know if you could do a video showing a 3 fund portfolio, but with dividend etfs. Say SCHD, FDVV and fill in the blank for the third. Love SCHD, NOBL but what would you pair these with? Ideally, total portfolio wouldn't be too heavily weighted and not have too much overlap. Just an Idea, keep up the good work.

How do you get the number for share price appreciation?? is it CAGR growth? Sporry new to this - Also, I have looked into these two but it is hard to choose as oyu want constant steady dividnets but you do like that appreciation though as you get the both

What if in year 20 you switched from Schd to nobl. ? Why does noble take off after 20 years?

NOBL is not a good choice; SCHD is not much better. I calculated and looked at rolling 3-year returns for SCHD. It is so poor that I was disappointed.

Does this take into account the fact that the expense ratio of NOBL (0.35%) is over 5X more than that of SCHD (0.06%)?

Why don’t you compare an index (SPY and QQQ) to NOBL and SCHD using your analysis. Whenever I compare past history to predict future results for most dividend ETF’s they don’t beat the index. Here is the geometric average return for the last 10 years (2014 -2023) with dividends reinvested for NOBL 10.2%, SCHD 11.0%, SPY 11.9.0% and QQQ 17.6%. Using this method to predict the future is not correct nor is any other method.

something missing from this analysis is the tax treatment of the dividends. SCHD's are Qualified; NOBL's are not.

My advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to take risks. Saving is great but taking risks puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. Funny all charts . tables I see show SCHD winning, particularly on the 10year, in fact is has the same colors, but names reversed.
