Reminds me of some dreams I've had where I was on a concrete square floating high up in the night sky. Endlessly tall skyscrapers surrounded me, but from such a far distance that I could never hope to reach them.
That's how I felt as a little kid playing Ocarina of Time. It felt so lonely thinking about how its so old compared to the time I was playing it in like 2009. Then I got older and realized that the game is like the most famous of all time and probably lots of people are playing it right now.
Everyone has gone, they left years ago to find a new home in the stars, but you couldn’t leave Earth behind. As you look up as the sun’s solar flares tear away at the ozone layer, the sky lights up in colours you never knew existed. But there’s nobody left on Earth to see it. Just you. Alone.
Or like a error message that appears, as if someone something that is trying to tell that us or something else is broken incorrect or is incomprehensible to us or the machine we use or the machine we are. Who knows
No. That "pyramid" was a rainbow-coloured roadway which extends out into the infinite distance. The one singing the song was a guy standing at the infinitely far end of that road.... and now he and the road are gone forever. Now we stand here peering into that endless distance even more alone than we were before -- not even unspeakably far from another soul, but removed from the universe of souls itself. There's nobody here...................
this video giving me a weird feeling that i felt before like when you're a kid coming from the airport late with your parents while they driving and it's raining im glad i felt this emotion again
Makes me feel like Im at an old mall all alone. One of those styled from the 80s or 90s and Its just empty, everything's on and open Its just everyone Is gone.
i honestly get a strong urge to sing to this, like theres something that should be here and i need to fill in for the person who was singing previously. still, theres nobody here. such a good track but it feels more desolate this way. tldr this reminds me of karaoke lol
There's something interesting about clicking on this video that said "10 years ago" and thinking it was posted in 2011 The second wave of Vaporwave sure was something, huh?
Pov: You've fallen off of Rainbow Road. You wait patiently to be taken back to the track, eager to resume the race. You gaze at what was once the ground you stood on, and see the track becoming smaller and smaller, and hear the sound's of your opponents karts fading. You begin to realize that rescue isn't coming, and that your fate is sealed. Instead of panicking however, you begin to feel at peace. All the stress of life slowly fades away like the light emitting from the Rainbow Road. You're brought to acceptance as the sounds of the track come to a halt, leaving you alone with nothing except your thoughts. You drift away for all eternity, never to be seen again. You look at the track one last time, and as the light fades away forever, you finally realise that there's nobody here.
i swear to God i heard the original song the voice sample is from months ago on a radio station my mom was listening to, or something similar, but i havent been able to find the song or anything close to it
Nicomanism at first I literally thought it was that, the building on the right looks like the enterprise plaza in downtown, but I think it’s from a video game or something
even the guy left, the rainbow road no longer leads us anywhere. there's truly nobody here now. it's kinda of creepy when you think about it... the subtitles appear on screen as if the guy was still singing... but no. Liminal at its best I say
