Thank you for your reviews. I had purchased this a couple months ago and agree with what you said about all of it. I had a more simple arm blaster but missed out on preacher curls and and also being able to isolate spider curls better. I have an Iron Master bench and was contemplating adding the preacher attachment, which would have really only allowed that. The NoCo blaster was a no brainer for me because of the multi functional use and also small footprint vs. a bench attachment . I’ve also successfully used this to isolate standing banded tricep kick backs by not allowing your arm to drift forward if you turn the pads backwards vs. how they’d be on for bicep curls. In my situation it was a good add because comparing to other solutions for direct arm work the NoCo arm trainer seemed solved a lot and felt like it was 4 or 5 uses in one. Great engineering too.

also, for those with disc pain or back problems, being able to lay facing the bench and use an ez bar is huge for heavier weight without irritating your back issues

I've got that Rogue AB 3.0 bench; if you set it to 55 degrees you can very comfortably do single arm preacher curls over it.

I think a lot of at home adjustable benches you can reasonably do preacher curls. I think this product is more targeted towards people who have issues with swinging/cheating too much on reps.

I just use my IronMasters as I don’t need speed with my style of lifting. I was going to get the Pepins, but at $2000+ shipped, I just bought the IronMaster 75 lb to 120 lb upgrade for $399 shipped.

I always think the same. He doesn't look the part. It's like 90% of personal trainers who barely look above average and were suppose to take advice from them. Supposedly they have the knowledge but it doesn't really give you confidence in them. My biggest pet peeve is this guy looks horrible with the mustache and should just own the upper lip he's hiding.

Looks like this could simulate the Hammer Strength MTS Iso-Lateral Triceps Extension machine when used with a functional trainer. I owned one once upon a time, and it is the GOAT of triceps exercises for those with elbow pain like me. Take a look at the machine in the link below if unfamiliar. Setup bench in a straight vertical, shoulder press kind of orientation, but you'll be facing towards the bench instead of away, attach arm blaster higher on the bench so that your arms are at a ~90* when your elbows are rested on the pads, and use a dual cable for each arm. Ideally the cable machine will be shoulder width (e.g. Freemotion articulating arms,). Getting into position could be a bit annoying, unless you have a smart trainer cable machine like Tonal or Speediace that allows you to turn he weight on when ready. Looks like it would also be noticeably better than a traditional arm blaster for triceps press downs. A normal arm blaster puts your triceps too far in front of the body for my preference and the Noco seems like it could help move them back to a more normal and comfortable straight vertical position. Doing these seated on a bench vertical again with the pads arm blaster attached midway down the bench setup for you to face away from the bench, and use dual cables one for each arm. www.lifefitness.com/en-us/catalog/strength-training/selectorized/mts-iso-lateral-triceps-extension

I love innovative things like this. Looks comfortable. I have the arm blaster that Larry Wheels sells and it's a nice piece. If I need some extra padding, I usually just put on some elbow sleeves---adds a little bit more resistance as an extra bonus as well.

You’re saying preacher curl when showing an incline bench curl. Different exercises with different emphasis to each. Preacher puts the shoulder in a more flexed position while an incline bench curl puts the shoulder in an extended position. Just good for thought.

It's garbage. It's made from cheap aluminum and it bends very easily. I bought it about a year ago it bent within a couple of days and I haven't been able to use it since because if I bend it back the cheap aluminum is going to snap
