Well it wasn't flawless by any stretch but he did play solidly. Kinda sad how true your first statement is though. I like seeing low tiers being played too but I still don't condemn people for playing high tier characters and teams.

I dunno. Feels like he missed a ton and went for that crouch shot situation too frequently rather than being intrusive with pressure and snapping out Logan early. His zoning wasn't all that terrible though

+Needlecrash No, not very solid. Every time he made him self a good opportunity he fucked it up by dropping combo or forgetting to snap out Phoenix. It's unlikely that someone tosses so many chances and still defeat a player like Noel. BTW, the only reason for Hsien Ko being there is the unstoppable washing machine assist. And Noel was ready for that.

maybe not even banned from all tounies, id just love to see a tournament where only lesser used characters are played. So hard to find high skill played with non top tier characters

None of those characters deserved to be banned man, this is just the way the game works nowadays. It is Marvel 2 all over again.

LLND lost becuase Chirs got opened up every match and because his Dante is ass. Tiers were not much of a factor.

I get what you are saying, but I feel that there were a lot more matches of better quality to post (if they recorded them) over this one. I would have just not posted this one if this was the last recorded set from SCR. There was just no hype and the match looked free from start to finish. Props to LLND for sticking to it though

Noel is a smart player rather than stylish. I like Stylish play but smarts is def interesting to watch for me

I think people like wong because he takes a non god tier character far, his main team has no vergil , no zero no pheonix, morigan or doom. In high skilled tournaments Not having one of them is like having a handicap. so seeing storm do work gets people hype, its not wong necessarily but the fact that he bring something different than the characters we see always

misticspear Well yes but I mean as bad as noel may be in peoples eyes he got the job done i mean I would rather watch Justin Over Noel because Justin plays hella smart . The fact that he plays more rare characters is a plus but people seriously like hate noel because of the team he plays like who cares about the characters. Everyone has the same choice at the select screen

Noel Brown sucks.. he is just another Phoenix player who is horrible until Lvl. 3 X-factor Dark Phoenix. Everyone of those games he won was because of Dark Phoenix's cheap shit. LLND is clearly a superior player. Take Dark Phoenix out of Noel's team and he would lose 90% of the time. Justin Wong actually has talent.. that's the difference. He doesn't rely on Dark Phoenix to win matches.

Watch BrunoWizard ... he's the best Chris player out there

Jam Session is great for providing a barrier for Chris and extending his combos, most notably at his corner combo, whereas if you hit the air Magnum at the same time Jam Session hits, you keep your ground bounce, allowing for a flamethrower -> double S -> air magnum -> flamethrower -> hyper combo. And Yep, Dante on devil trigger mode pretty much can fight Dark Phoenix since he can fly, throw thunderbolts, air plink dash and has an invincible Psycho Crusher. Strider is the perfect assist which covers Chris' air difficulties. Haggar is also good for leading with button mashing / rushdown.

Call me what you want, doesn't make this game play any better.
