it was good friday 1996. i remember it well. i was 18 and oasis, beer and girls where my world!! good times. they should bring back tfi friday! live music and interviews with big name stars every week! the late night repeat was best cos it was unedited and it was perfect "just back from the pub" telly!!
a dozen years on, noel is more funny and happy (or at least presenting himself as such) than I used to think he was and certainly more so than how he was presented in the media at the time. Good on him.
This was after. If you saw the first part, right before that part ended they were talking about a new song called "I Hope, I Think, I Know" and that's off of Oasis's album "Be Here Now" which came out in 1997. So this must've took place sometime in 1996.
I could have written almost everything you said. It was the same for me. Mid 90's were fucking amazing. You felt like anything was possible. The best bands were the biggest bands. Much better than the washed out shite we're subjected to today.
Ahh man, Noel... He's just god-like isn't he. The guy has got such natural wit. And brains... and amazing songwriting ability! I think I'm in love.. haha :P
I don’t think he is. I see this comment after every interview he’s ever done. Just cos he’s lively and witty. If you’re genuinely high you aren’t as sharp as this. He’s just happy. And probably tipsy!
Liam swear as much as Noel, it's just the age difference which in the time may get you lost; also, Liam didn't swear either on tv show, like the Breakfast
I much prefer the new Noel than this one. I loved Oasis in the 90s and they're still my 2nd favourite ever band but everything after BHN - with the exception of the Masterplan - was below average. Noel's humour is a lot dryer nowadays and he's less arrogant and cocky.
you know, I show put more smiley face in my replies, that way you know I dont' really mean it. I talk ALOT of shit on RU-vid: it's fun! ;) I make love, not war (expect online?) Thanks for being the better man!
