Forgot to mention now that people are bringing it up: Yes, the audio is HEAVILY edited. So some parts are silent for copyright reasons. If you've actually been paying attention, I think you'll come to realize that most of the dialogue is VERY MUCH intact. Compare the audio versus the source (BBC iPlayer version) and come back to this. Pay very close attention, and you'll most likely miss it. It's a very special edit indeed made especially for RU-vid by us! Hope some of you don't really mind the weird sound. I didn't mind it while I was editing it. I honestly thought it was going to be more awkward, but it actually turned out alright.
It is, indeed annoying. It is too bad it can't be played in its entirety, but I get why. I will watch anything with Noel, Liam and Oasis edited or unedited.
Look at the glimmer in his eyes when him and Liam are on the screen together. Noel says he doesnt, but it's clear as day he misses Liam as much as Liam misses Noel.
That crowd holding a vigil in Manchester singing Don’t Look Back in Anger gets me all the time. Even Noel was clearly moved by it. Great interview with a musical genius and living legend
@@drfeelgood5870 A genius no. A genius would still be writing genius music (A la Prince) A genius wouldn't need Liam to sing good oasis songs. Noel can't sing so hows he genius? Liams the voice of Oasis.
@@justinb954 Never said he was a genius. Gifted maybe , a minor gift . According to his ego and his deliusional mind , he is a genius like god . Guys a crackpot!.
@@justinb954 Also why does he need Liam to right good songs. Liam didn't help him with writing. He did right a couple but they were never near as good as noels
What a life. Good chap. It’s quite the evolution from what he was to what he has become. Eloquently spoken, great vocabulary. Good teeth. Tidy hair. A talent to say the least. 👍🏻
And with his defamatory comments about Jeremy Corbyn: a rich, establishment puppet who has forgotten both where he has come from and about the well-being of his own class who have been shafted by successive right-wing governments - including by Blair.
I met him outside Ewood Park when City were playing us. I was late and he was obviously missing the crowds outside. He was exactly the same and as I type, I remember he predicted the score right. He said he’d think city will be a bit rusty but should win, I say 2-0. Sure enough it was, look it up. First match of the season around 2010 Blackburn 0-2 City. Met bonehead on a bus taking us from the plane to the terminus and he gave up his seat for my mum, but that’s another story...
An absolute pleasure to watch this! Noel for me is an inspiration and a natural clued up top fella! Inspired my first band and and has a top attitude to life 👌
I think the fact that one of oasis’s most popular songs was sang by Noel does or at one point did piss liam off a bit. I wasn’t a particularly big oasis fan at first . I lived in a little village that was like a little bubble and the only people that liked oasis and blur were little geeks that couldn’t fight sleep . I’m not really paying attention coz all i ever got to hear them was in my pals clapped out shitty old first car with twin knob cassette radio player with terrible speakers and I could barely hear it. It wasn’t until I heard dont look back in anger that I really paid attention. remember the first time i heard it it was a recording of them playing the white room or whatever its called that was played over the bells at new year I think of 94/95 but could have been 95/96 I don’t actually remember. I just remembered being on some real trippy ecstasy called “dollars” coz they had $ sign on em and my pals mrs loved oasis and wanted to see them over the bells w I just remember them being anounced “they may not be bigger the jesus but they’re definitely bigger than the beatles! And me and my pal kinda looked at each other full blown tripping thinking “wtf? DEFINITELY bigger than the goddamn BEATLES?!! Wtf have I been missing here? And Noel came on and sang dont look back in anger and i was blown tf away completely. I didn’t even realise Noel was the usual singer until DLBIA was finished and Liam Swaggered/jumped on and sang roll with it and it didn’t hit me like DLBIA did but i thought “he is one cool looking SOAB!” and i just started paying a bit more attention to em and I started listening to all their albums and loving a shit load-not all but a shit load of their songs and I just grew to love em like however many years after everybody else did.
People who weren’t around then wouldn’t realise how big Oasis were for those few years in the mid to late 90’s. They really were the biggest band in the world.
Noel is what you see everyday in my home city of MANCHESTER, we have millions of top storytellers, from the straight members to the grafters. It's a joy to see someone make of the estates. 🙏🏾😆👍🏾 MCFC your welcome.
"No" & "just no.." Yeah, it's kind of an odd way to start the segment. If I was paranoid I'd wonder if this 'Dermot' geezer was trying to sort of curse the whole thing with a wierd & subtly negative linguistic ploy at the start, which is strange because he's the one doin' the interview. 😩 Mind you, these celebrity presenters probably get so rich that it probably wouldn't matter very much to them if they ended up getting offered fewer equivalent employment opportunities anyway.
What a legend. Was there at Maine road. Said to my mate before in a bar...”watch this” I was a bit of an unpredictable cooont back then, so my mate was edgy. Stood on a table, screamed “maybe “ and sat down. Place went off like an atomic bomb!!! Bouncer came up, shit ensued. Wouldn’t change it! Fooooookin legends creating memories for us mere mortals. THANK YOU!! Much love ❤️💪🏻😬
he was in the back of my cab he didn't say nothing till i talked to him picked him at recording studios old town clapham took him to chiltern fire house then to bloomfield rd little venice
Whatever Blair and New Labour became, that period in the UK was beautiful. The music was brilliant, the telly was good and we had hope. It turned sour but for a brief moment...
They where looking for a dude with one shoe that matched the shoe they had that was thrown on stage but the guy out thought them. He ditched the other shoe in the can and sauntered past them in his socks with a big smile on his face like “great gig boys! Youse are awesome 👌”
If anything Liam may feel validated for guessing that Noel has no intentions to rejoin Oasis. I love them both, but had a real pang of sadness when Noel conveyed him & Liam have better success doing music apart. At least now they’ve made peace within themselves there may be hope of the brothers talking again- even if their musical directions differ.
A lot has been cut for copyright reasons. I still don't know how they got around the actual microphone issue or something. Everything seems to be like the original video.
The host sounds exactly like the dwarf/migit/small person from Karl pilkingtons series 3. That's who I was expecting to see after the inro Sorry I do t know what the correct term is.
@@JC-ko1bp Because you don't explain your interpretation. I said > I < know who she is, not you. She's someone's daughter. I've made a video for it on my channel. Liam made her up on a whim and I put it in a context.
At the time I was trying to upload this, it kept getting copyright striked. So I had to unfortunately edit out a lot of audio (songs from Oasis and other groups mentioned on the video). It was a pain. As a result, the audio cuts out a lot but retains all the video and all talking portions of Noel and Dermot.
Always wondered if Irish people consider these two to be Irish? Both their parents are Irish so full Irish blud like Steve coogan but do Irish people feel this way?
