@@MisterShadowsX That's how most black metal is. They aren't here to merely 'entertain' us. It's a certain essence that can't just be forced over & over again for the "fans". Some bands do this anyway & their later work is garbage compared to their early works.
@@ElektrOpium Which is fair, because it's much better to produce just one amazing album vs. 14 mediocre ones. These artists and bands don't owe us anything and should be able to retire/quit whenever they damn well please. But still, as a fan, I can't help but wish they made more music. I simultaneously respect their decision to leave the scene all the while feeling bummed out that they won't release anything ever again.
