I find it very interesting that Dopamine and Prolactin have and "Inverse Relationship".
What I mean by this:
Prolactin is the hormone that is released in your body whenever you are seeking out comfort and "nuturing" activities. It's what is responsible for making women feel motherly and creates strong paternal emotions. There is a time and a place for that, but that time and place should NOT be in the millions of young men who are releasing daily. There is a huge problem with "softness" in our males today and I believe this is key as to why.
When a man releases his seed, there is a steep rise in PROLACTIN. This rise can lead to him feeling anxious, low energy, loss of libido, and completely lacking the vigor/vitality he just had prior to releasing.
This life is a game of our hormones. The type of hormones we have in our body at any given time will color our reality and perspective of how we feel in any given moment.
Conversely, testosterone and dopamine is responsible for feeling like a man. In control, motivated, full of desire and tenacity. This is where we want to be for the majority of time as men.
IF DOPAMINE is HIGH then PROLACTIN IS NATURALLY LOW. (Hence the inverse relationship between the two.)
This really made it all click in my head.
To really SIMPLIFY such a COMPLEX concept:
We can look at how we feel as men when:
A) We are being lazy, releasing, avoiding challenge & seeking comfort
VS
B) Retaining the seed, facing challenges (working out, long runs, cold exposure, sauna etc.)
When you stick to one lifestyle or path long enough,
YOU WILL NOTICE THAT WHO YOU ARE CHANGES DRASTICALLY DEPENDING ON ONLY ONE THING
ARE YOU CHOOSING COMFORT OR DISCOMFORT DAILY?
Do you constantly have an influx of prolactin in your body making you look, feel, and think like a female?
Or are you embracing challenge, discomfort, retention and overall voluntary suffering so that prolactin levels are lower and you feel like a KING?
