@@AdamSmith-jb2lf It's an anti-joke, so there isn't one. The entire joke is he is dressed ridiculous but he isn't some wacky character. He's just David.
the joke is that you want everyone to think you're cool and smart so you can't just admit it's a bad joke, you have to pretend that actually you get it it's an anti joke and nobody else does because only you are so cool and smart.
Brennan: (thinking up something clever) I’m a psychic pirate! Zac: (thinking up something stupid enough to subvert expectations) I’m David! Sam: (confused) Who’s… who’s David? Zac: (wearing zany sunglasses and a cow ears headband) My name’s David!!! Different approaches to comedy, but both pure gold.

im so amazed by brennans "im grant obrien" bit because its so layered ... i'm pretty sure the reason he rolled up that shirt to crop top length was to mimic candlewick from the neverafter campaign?? when he was describing candlewick, ally said "grant obrien?" and now i guess thats just what grant looks like now
This is, quite frankly, the most stacked with pure genius & laugh-out-loud bits that any minigame has ever been. Zac and Brennan in particular killed it repeatedly. And as an Ohioan, I feel physically attacked by the "Ope. Ope" at the end
Literally everybody here has some amazing bits. Josh's bits are *really* funny because the first, super simple ones, do genuinely feel like a low effort halloween costume a kid would throw together last second, but then the "slowly mutating amish" bit just gets better each time he appears. Zac & Brennan were fantastic too obviously but plenty of other comments explained their best bits already

basically. they created an independent streaming service right before getting their funding cut (because facebook fucked them :9) and now they’re fully independent, over the last 3-4 years they’ve been slowly but surely growing and last year they decided to fully rebrand from college humor to dropout
The book Zac was referencing is called "I am David," (an awfully written novella about a Polish boy experiencing German occupation) that was one of the first books anyone who entered high school in the 90's was forced to read in English class (at least in the UK and it looks like Zac wherever he attended school in the US was subjected to the same dreary torture). Although his misquote as "I'm David," didn't help his joke.
