hey everyone hope you liked the compilation! if you didn't, that makes me so sad and i will forever be sad now and never recover subscribe to dropout.tv for full episodes of great improv shows and more!
my favorite genre of make some noise is "brennan flawlessly monologues and worldbuilds for a minimum of ninety seconds straight only for zac to smash the entire thing open with exactly one line"
i honestly swear to god that bit, having come out when it did was truly a high art performance piece. like absolutely genius of sam to pick that prompt and their execution of it was sooo perfect. i actually love it sm lol
Okay but what about the moment when Zac realizes he has to break the flower vase and just has that look of like... terror and guilt but also nervous excitement on his face? I'm holding on to it for when it becomes the perfect reaction image.
I walked away from my computer and heard Josh’s advanced way of ordering eggs without even being able to see the bit and knew exactly what he was doing so feel like I should probably do some self reflection here
* My favourite part of Josh's "Oh, no, come on girl" is that even as Brennan collapses, he refuses to deny the improv rule of never let a prop in your hand disappear
the way zac is half crouched while on the phone with phoebe PAIRED with the way he can't form a normal sentence is the killer combo of awkward. truly The Most Uncomfortable Man™
I need to congratulate the camera work and the editing for Zac's moose impression, because cutting back to Zac like that the way they did is what skyrocketed that bit up to legend status for me
10:30 gotta be my favourite noise boys moment - the way zac was overlooked and he comes out, the complete underdog, and decimates his competition with THE best mac and cheese sound ive ever heard
I can't believe you left out the other part of the moose bit where brennan goes "are you factoring in the antlers??" and sam's "I'm factoring them in as we speak!"
Zac breaking the trombone and immediately trying to save it by just making the sound made me laugh so hard I genuinely stopped breathing for at least 15 seconds. That has never once happened to me in my life.
Honestly Brennan and Zac work so well as a comedic duo, Brennan for setting a scene and bringing the gravitas needed for Zac to immediately kneecap any level with seriousness with a single well-timed line. My partner and I always talk about how he really is an example of less is more sometimes. And Josh is good at the mouth noises and I love him (platonically and parasocially) for that.
The “ I only have six seconds” will pop into my head randomly, and I start laughing every time! And then automatically think ” Josh has to leave in four minutes”!😂😂
* I love the fact that in Zac's moose impression, the cut to Sam and then back to Zac with his hands up implies the antlers just popped into existence rather than him raising his hands jfhlksdgkl
the amount of times I've been watching MSN in public and have had to pause the video in order to not lose my shit and burst out cackling is astronomical
My favourite joke in all of make some noise is from Season 2 Episode 15, when Zac writes "Zacky" on his name card and proceeds to correct Sam *Every Time*, without fail. It just got funnier every single time it happened.
He is basically the Jason Mantzoukas of Dropout. And when Sam says it's not his turn and he dips behind his podium, I always fie laughing because he just wants to have fun with Zac and Brennan
Id love to hang out with these guys, but i couldn't possibly keep up and would just end up sitting awkwardly in the corner suffocating from laughter paralysis
I can't recall the original air date, but I feel 04:39 - 04:45 may have been the birth of the voice and creation of Gilear, and yes, I am also referring to both Shakespeare and Spirit airlines, tragic and poetic bad luck. as well as 05:10 - 05:22 And Zac Oyama is King ***SPOILERS FOR FANTASY HIGH*** Things have developed, so there may have been a misrepresentation and misunderstanding, which is also rather Shakespearian.
